Meditation and calamity. A (mostly) Jedi thread.

Abbey Ainsley

Weird mess of Jedi
Abbey kept quiet in her little spot in the corner of rubble which was her only provided shelter right now. She slumped her head on her knees and closed her eyes tightly, letting her tears gently drip away on her cheeks. Even though someone was being nice - and offering help, she was refusing it like a behind and keeping to herself, just like always.

Using the force, Grey would ask Jedi Knight [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] if he knew of a man who goes by Darth Ferus. This man being the one who freed her from her cryoprison, but in doing so, noting the fight she had in her, forced her to become his student or choose death. The man whom she had fallen in love with at one point and abandoned to forget about her love for the married Sith Lord. This action caused Ferus to send her sibling Sith apprentice after her, unfortunately her new student getting caught in the battle and her nearly dying in an attempt to save her. Knowing [member="Abbey Ainsley"] most likely didn't know of the Zabrak Sith Lord.

A frown would spread across the young Jedi's lips as he observed [member="Abbey Ainsley"]'s lack of response. Seeing as his mental guard was not up, [member="Grey Lunara"] was able to send him a message telepathically, one that inquired about Darth Ferus.

The young man would turn a bit pale as he witnessed telepathic images of the Zabrak, at least what he imagined the Sith Lord to look like. He had only ever encountered the mans band of apprentices, specifically the one led by Maleus in the days of the New Order. He hadn't seen Maleus for years, and assumed the Knight dead after their battle on Taris. He had told Tugoro of Fergus, though not much. "We need a medical unit by the ruins," the Jedi spoke into his wrist communicator, still standing by the injured woman. Soon, ateam of Republic officials would show up accompanied by a med team, who would tend to Abbey's injuries if allowed. Taking a stroll across the grassy jungle floor, Tugoro would offer Grey a hand to get back onto her feet. "How do you know Ferus?" He asked.

"He is my second master. The one who forced me into serving him with the threat of death upon him freeing me from my cryoprison."

She spoke as she accepted the hand up after placing the ancient lightsaber back in her cleavage. Upon such a scar, or a partial scar would come into view unintentionally. It may have raised questions as well, but she would also answer that question before it arose.

"He also has me listed as a fugitive to be tried or to be killed on sight. All because I left his side and service during a battle that I felt a change of heart during. I'm constantly hunted. And I apologize for being over aggressive with the girl. His training... It turned me into an aggressive freak show and I often forget what holding back is, thanks to him..."

Well, the lingering shadow that surrounded [member="Grey Lunara"] was now another mysterious solved. Tugoro didn't actually know much about this Darth Ferus, though he knew that it was a powerful Zabrak Sith Lord, much like Maleus could have been in the future. Flinching a bit at the thought, the young Jedi would cast his gaze to the ground after helping up the woman. Taking a step back, Tugoro would exhale deeply as he calmed himself, surprised to have found another affected by the mysterious Sith Lord. This person definitely knew more than he did, however.

Looking back up, the Jedi would try to ignore the woman's peculiar choice of weapon storage, averting his eyes once more as he stifled a shake of his head. Whatever worked, he supposed. Listening to the rest of her explanation, the young man would nod before looking to the ruins. "I understand now. Though perhaps you should apologize to her." Tugoro spoke, lifting an arm and pointing in [member="Abbey Ainsley"]'s direction. Hopefully the medics had arrived by then.

The woman slowly approached the girl, wobbling from the pain and gritting her teeth. It was not her style to approach someone in such a weak state, well... it was... when she had lunged at Ferus with his personal vibroknife which she still held for reminder that she needed to be wary, but he was also her greatest threat. About six feet away from the girl, Grey hit her knees from overexertion, and spoke up.

"You, girl... I apologize for going so rough on you... its the way I was trained as a Sith and it became all I know.... I had forgotten my bearings of a Jedi, my bearings replaced by the memory of my former sibling student nearly ending my life. It was uncalled for. I hope you accept my apology."

For a long moment the girl said nothing, simply sat in her spot and contemplated what little few things were running through her mind. After some long time, she looked at the pair and scowled, getting herself off the ground and walking away to fetch her ship. "I do not. I'll leave you two to fight about or whatever you'd like. Good day."

"If you want to be a Jedi, Neutral or Light-sided, get rid of your attitude and anger. I know it is rough, but believe me, it will take you a long way. It is okay to get upset, but it does not become you." Her eyes stayed on [member="Abbey Ainsley"].

"Your words mean nothing to me, I'm not going to accept your apology just because you say it may be the Jedi way." Heading to her ship, she starts to disappear into the hanger yard.

"Then I am not going to stop you. I will save you when the time comes... but I will not stop you..." Grey whispered and turned back toward the Jedi Knight. it was a sad day when someone could not be saved after a strong attempt to do so, but it would be a more sad day should she fall and the only way to save her is to kill her. "Be careful youngling..." and with that said she would move toward her specialty ARC-170, personalized for her own use. whether or not [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] would go after either was entirely up to him, but Grey was determined to leave the arboreal planet far in her proton thruster wake.
