Meeting On Halamir

It hadn't been long since the completion of the Shadowclaw, the new flagship of EODD, which had already seen combat over Kashyyyk and Coruscant. Both victories, one of which resulted in two kills for the ship and two crippled enemy landing corvettes. Along with hundreds of dead Mandalorians. Errreembuhr was proud of his ship, this much was sure, and grateful for the work put forth on it by [member="John Locke"] and his company. So much that he found it an honor to be contacted by the man as a production source.

While before he had been the one to visit John's facility, now it was he who played host to the visitor, arranging for a meeting at his Halamir shipyard, as he'd be there overseeing the first production models of his Orbalisk-class heavy carriers. Clearance codes were given, and approvals for his guest and any accompanying him to be let through each checkpoint to the staff facility on the second level. He hoped there wouldn't be any issues for his guest getting through the passageways between the dark nebulae in the system, but the staff at the waystations and guard stations would help guide him along. It wasn't a difficult pathway, but for a newcomer to the system, it could be daunting.

There were some creation you made for the galaxy as a whole, designed to be the most attractive to the most people, products you meant for the wider galaxy. Then there were those products that you built for yourself, and if the rest o the galaxy liked it then great. John wasn't afraid to admit that the Helios was very much a product he'd designed for himself. If you were going to be a galaxy-trotting entrepreneur then the least you could do is ensure that you could travel in style. A wry smile tugged at the man's lips as she settled back in his seat, browsing through the paperwork that never seemed to end as he occasionally glanced at the window, watching the system fly by, the shipyard looming ever larger on their approach. There was no crackle of the radio, just a polite alarm indicating an incoming message for the man, "The shipyard's in sight and we're coming in on our final approach now, if you'd like to get ready?"

A brief thankyou went down the line as a reply before John pushed his chair back reaching up to grace EX with a cocky smile. "Well then, shall we see what kind of surprises our Wookie friend has for us today."

With his work finished up for the day Errreembuhr found the report of John's ship on a final approach vector towards the shipyard a welcome warning, and he made his way up to the landing pads with Talus at his side. The lifts here worked quicker than those on his New Plympto facility, though those lifts had more than simply three levels to travel through.

"My calculations tell me that this meeting will result in a beneficial agreement," Talus said as they exited the lift on the surface. "The Shadowclaw was produced to your exact specifications by his company and resulted in a major victory at its first combat outing."

"Indeed, which is why I'm so inclined to work with him more." Errreembuhr gave his droid a nod, sunlight bearing down on his dense fur, though it didn't feel hot like it often did on New Plympto. "It seems his ship has landed, let's go bring him in."

Inertial compensators were a great invention, the trip down to the facility and the Helios' landing had barely sent ripples across the surface of the water in his glass, a testament to both the ship and the skill of the crew manning it. The man finally pushed back his seat, one hand waving through the air to dismiss the files he'd been reviewing as he waved away EX's offer of a jacket. It wasn't like he particularly needed one in the weather, and the wookie he was about to meet was the last person to look away from someone because of cybernetics.

"I do wish you'd take more care about your appearance sir,"

"It's fine, I look smart enough EX, I'm not trying to wow him into investing in Locke and Key, I'm here representing someone else today."

"If you insist sir."

The droid lapsed into an angry silence for a moment as the boarding ramp lowered, the smell of outside air swirling into the ship as John made his way down, nodding at his host. "Nice place you've got here."

"Glad you think so," the Wookiee replied, greeting [member="John Locke"] and his droid as he stepped forward with his own. "It took a little bit of doing, the shipyards that were here originally were ancient, but we've managed to get things up and running finally. We can produce much more in the way of starships here than at my New Plympto facility, especially larger cruiser-sized ships."

He realized his attention had moved from John to an opening floor gate, allowing a finished corvette through for final adjustments before it was prepared for pickup by the buyer. The Wookiee turned back to his guest before continuing.

"I hadn't realized that word of my new shipyards had gotten out just yet, is that what you've come to talk about?"
