I used hunt rather than kill simply because this is an RP and killing PCs is rather rare. Though hunting also works seeing as smoking an animal out is a hunting tactic and killing or at least mortally wounding will provide a nice fuel to the fire. Though plans can only go so far, in practice we will see how it plays out.
