Just out of curiosity, are you referring to the live action one (which I liked), or the anime one (which I hated)?

It wasn't nearly as bad as you think. It was your typical fantasy film, that was only bad by comparison to the show.

And on a side note, there was an animated movie, or triple-length episode, or whatever. They were running it forever on Nickelodeon.

My point exactly. I didn't have much to compare it to, except for the comics and the four or five major plot points I paid attention to.

The problem is that most people who loved the cartoon expected the movie to be similar because it was based of series and people couldn't leave it as a stand alone.

I'm just confusing myself and most likely other people. I'm not changing my mind. The movie fell short in the fan's eyes.
