Memorials

| [member="Darth Shara"] |

"Yes, I have been away on the Outer Rim Territories and Unknown Regions. The traitor, Darth Vulcanus, has been dealt with; and his would be Empire, dismantled by the Mandalorian Clans." She turned to walk beside the giant, while they moved among the construction project of the memorials. "I planned to take the position as Dark Chancellor of the New Order and then assist the Sith on a campaign, where it would eventually meet up with our slowly growing Empire here in the core. However, the Sith there proved far weaker than I first anticipated and subsequently fell after Vulcanus's failure to take back to the Dromund Kaas system."

"Now that the New Order is dead, my business in the Outer Rim and the Unknown Regions is done. The traitor has been disposed of, the Sith that did not follow our vision have been broken and I have taken three creatures you will find... appealing." She came to a stop. "They were designated Omen-class command ships. There are three of them. Alongside them I bring schematics for the ships that were designed by Subach Innes, of which I am a joint owner of with another accomplice of mine."

A hulking figure loomed large over [member="Darth Veles"], black eyes glittering. The Herglic towered head and shoulders over every individual here save Shara, and he had double the girth of the Demon Sith.

Orcus crossed blubbery arms and surveyed the scene before him.

"Brother Veles, does your anger know no leash that you must resort to kicking pets in order to sate it?" He rebuked the Mon Cal. "A tyrant need only be cruel when necessity demands cruelty. I see no need here, hauum."

He pointed a flipper at the strange figure who seemed constructed of metal. "You there, what is your purpose here?" [member="Nazo"]

Artemisia kept her hands clasped tightly in-front of her, staring off into space as if she were lost in thought. Anger seethed at her very core, the very fiber of her being as she cracked her fingers in anticipation of the workings before her. The Temple which was being erected in the name of the Goddess would be something of a sight, an impressive sight that would be intoxicating to the senses of those who served in her name. Yes, they were one of the Dark Lord but those who were of Vahla blood, knew the Goddess to be their rightful overlord. This ubiquitous Dark Lord to which Artemisia only heard of in speech and no name did nothing for her. The Goddess of Chaos and Destruction touched her, gave her life and saved her from eternal damnation in the hands of her Jedi captors.

She was a broken soul when the Chosen of Vahl had found her and ripped her from Mobus. The One Sith had indeed given her new purpose, freedom and clothing but the Goddess gave her so much more. Who did she serve? The Dark Lord of the One Sith of course, but she did not praise him as she did the Goddess Vahl. Something caught her attention, causing her to look up at [member="Darth Nephthys"] and then back down at her hands. She crackled her knuckles once more before turning to look down at the vast, endless city-scape of Coruscant. The view was breathtaking, she had never experienced a place like Coruscant before in her life and the sensations of darkness that overwhelmed her from the millions of beings which roamed the city close by were a bit overwhelming.

The Apprentice hopped onto his speeder, and slowly guided it down to the construction site below near the area of [member="Hion the Herglic"], [member="Darth Veles"] and @Nazo. Once it was close enough, but not in the way of any construction workers he leapt off and strode over to the trio and looked up the massive Herglic.

He didn't particularly like any species other than Eldorai, and even then, he only liked his Master, Darth Helios, perhaps the only one he could speak about in such a way, not that he would aloud, but these Sith were still powerful.

He watched closely to see how they would react to each other and to him, or to how that would even react to the mechanical being that was Nazo.

After placing the last blocks needed in his area, Varis made his way further into the construction site. It wasn't long before he found a group of people gathered. He didn't personally know anyone of them, but he had heard enough about [member="Hion the Herglic"] and [member="Darth Veles"] to recognise them. The other two were a mystery to him, yet he nodded to them all in greeting. Before he could watch them for a reply, he fixed his eyes on [member="Nazo"] out of curiosity. What was that thing?

I watched from a high walkway that had survived the battle, watched them begin their construction a strange feeling in my heart. Was it sadness? Regret? I wasn't entirely sure, it was an emotion I hadn't felt before. For years I had wanted to see Coruscant burn, and this group had seen to at least some of its scorching. Yet now, now they had removed the temple, they were rebuilding. I clicked my tongue, signature concealed for the moment.

It seemed wrong. Not that I had any care for the Jedi, but even Palpatine had left it more or less intact after the great purge as a reminder for the evils the Jedi had committed. I pushed my thoughts aside, it was not for me to question nor argue, it was for me to listen, to observe and learn. Slowly I revealed myself, a lowly apprentice, perhaps a touch more powerful than most, and began my decent from the walkway towards the edge of the construction site.

Now was the time for me to step into the lair of wolves and see just how long I could survive.

Chenlucca arrived on a speeder, leaping down, and looking up, his yellow eyes gleaming with hate and anger. He was only a Acolyte, but had the promise and power of a true Sith Lord. "Greetings, brothers, sisters." he grunted, his black cloak being disturbed by the wind that came across from the East.

He blinked for a moment in confusion, before he took note of [member="Varis Stalwart"] nodding to him in greeting, and he did the same. It was a Sith that he had yet to meet, and he had decided that he would meet him later, perhaps upon that same day while their Temple was constructed, but until then he was backing away from the grouping.

There was building to be done, and Coruscant was an open planet to him, he was curious to see what could be done there, and while his gaze searched the construction site to see where he would be most needed, he took note of the presence of [member="Eleena Miho"] and frowned for but a moment as the twi'lek began to approach. He wasn't entirely sure from where when he scanned the area, but he only took actual note once he had backed off of the construction site and she was walking towards him to go most likely past him.

"Is there something here for you?"

As it happened, Orcus did understand a little Shyriiwook from his days as a merchant-marine. Unfortunately, he didn't quite gather all of what Chenlucca said.

"Well, tree-friend, if you seek for a master I would be willing to help." He said with a too-wide smile.

I looked at the male eldori, my dark eyes locking for a moment on ice blue. I didn't stop in my advance though. This was just the edge of the pit, the true power was in the centre. I was unarmed so ultimately I was not a threat.

"Maybe." I responded simply. There was no smiling, no hint of a joke. I was utterly cold and I looked away from him, continuing my walk into the pit.

She had a purpose, that much was clear, and he grinded his teeth upon each other before he turned away from the twi'lek and headed to another part of the construction site to help the construction workers.

“I see.” Shara said as they wandered through the very center of the build site.

So she had brought gifts, and toppled a false Emperor. How grand a display that was. Part of him suspected that she had ulterior motive in going to the New Order in the first place, but that notion was quickly squashed as he reminded himself of who they were. He smiled instead, smiling and looking down at her.

“You have done well then.” Shara said in compliment, not praise. Praise was given from a master to an apprentice, they were equals. “He will be pleased.”

The maelibus did not have to elaborate on who the he was, that much was obvious to anyone.

Peering around the construction site Shara nodded slightly, pleased with how fast the building was actually going, though such a thing was no surprise with this many Sith aiding in the building of the Valley, after all, the force could do great things.

A featureless porcelain mask gazed in a statuesque manner impassively watching the would-be hunt of the Gizka as it chased after its prey with abandon. All was well and good in the mind of the space slug until his favored lizard like companion met the business end of the Mon Calamri's boot. Despite it being a rather expected reaction, it was not aligned with Nazo's preference of his only friend. The little lizard sailed from the kick, and thudded to the ground, bouncing twice before laying on it's side. A low moaning echoed from it's wide mouth as the tail shook and legs kicked a bit slowly regaining it's bearings. The Gizka were not extremely fragile, but they were rather light weight and the hard permacrete landing gave no blessing to the flesh and bone inside. The line of sight from his beady eyed mask shifted watching the trajectory and point of impact for the red scaled creature. A sense of rare sadness emanated from the seven foot tall robed creature standing a few meters away from the lizard and even further from Veles and his cohorts.

Talons scratched at the scaly hide, as the Gizka sat for a moment collecting it's cognitive functions before it was up and looking back at Veles. It was no longer going to attempt chasing bugs in that sector. Bounding again, but this time back to the safety and security of it's Master's robes. A single mask tilt towards the little fellow was given, as another silent exchange took place. The statement and a question had been posed to him, and only now was Nazo recognizing that he had attained an audience. Despite the circumstances, he stepped forward, seeming to glide beneath the robes that encased his durasteel skeleton. While Veles had made the smart play in dispensing of the critter who could have infected him with poison, it had brought him no favor in the eyes of the space slug. The right arm of Nazo rose, pointing a metallic digit in accusatory fashion at the red-skinned Calamarian, the mask resting it's lifeless eyes upon him.

"Construction does not an excuse make." His telepathic voice ringing with the dual tones of a mere child and the throaty bass of a demon intermingled within both Veles, Hion, and Varis. While it was simply meant for Veles, the conversation now included all four of them - and it would have been five if Nazo could of joined his Gizka into the conference. Sadly the lizard was non-sentient. "Pets are subject, friends are free. Learn this for continued assurance of life." Nazo rarely made much lucid sense, and the times where his words weren't just a jumble were often riddle-like in their meaning. His intention was simply a strong warning that he did not favor the pragmatic motion of a boot to his friend. His lizard wasn't just a pet, but a companion in the cold dark cosmos that he had been sailing around in for over two centuries. His attentions though did not linger on that of Veles, but shifted to the far larger flipper wielding Herglic.

"The reverse of balance. The opposite polarity. What was once light is dark instead." Another puzzle of speech echoed in their minds, though his attention focused on the question at hand. "Curious." Nazo added in. He'd heard the reports of the sacking of Coruscant, the Republic's exodus from the planet, and the One Sith's new rule and reign. Though he didn't know any of them personally (or would truly care to), he was somewhat surprised that this seemingly motley lot was the successors to a force that had withstood the test of millenia, holding the core world as the Republic's beacon to the rest of the Galaxy. He had wanted to see this for himself.

"My apologies, brother, but my power is not as great as your own. I could have let go of the block and crush a worker underneath, but I value sentient life more than that of animals." The Mon Cal said calmly to [member="Hion the Herglic"] in an apology and offered a polite bow before continuing, "But please, allow me to congratulate you on building the orphanages. It is important to provide the new generation with education and knowledge, so they become productive citizens and not criminals, as many children too poor to afford education often do. I also fills the empty space not adressed by the Jedi..." Veles then continued moving the heavy material and equipment with telekinesis, one of his eyes always intently watching the levitating object. He was just putting down a crate when [member="Nazo"]'s telepathy interrupted him. Frowning, he carefully se the crate down before replying in kind, by telepathy.

"If you cannot control your subjects, perhaps you do not deserve to have them."

The Herglic clacked his teeth at [member="Chenlacca"]'s reply. "If you wish to join the One Sith, ask not what we can do for you, but what you can do for the galaxy."

His squat, enormous head swiveled back to [member="Darth Veles"] and the other being. The strange metallic creature apparently held some power with the Force, evidenced by his usage of telepathy. Though, the mind which touched the Herglic's felt alien and inhumanoid. Strange for an alien to say, but even Orcus held more in relation to humans than to whatever species this creature hailed from. Orcus' brows lowered at his words, then he cast black eyes at the Mon Calamari as he gave kind words about the orphanage, then responded to @Nazo.

A great, booming laugh erupted from the Herglic and he clapped Veles on the back with a massive flipper. The Herglic held little power with the Force by comparison to others. He was barely able to lift a pebble with telekinesis and could not perform massive feats of telepathy. His only significant power was in his lungs and right now they roared raucously.

"Ah, my water-born brother, you misunderstand our mysterious friend. The gizka is not his pet, but his friend therefore he cannot command it to do anything. Even so, friends must learn to caution other friends," The Herglic's black eyes glittered dangerously as they looked upon the metallic creature, "lest they come to tread in waters beyond their depth."
