Meredith was born on Kalidan-Lysenia to a high ranking military family. Growing up was hard, the planet was harsh and a lot was expected of her in the junior academies. Children were expected to exceed and there was never quite enough for everyone, and this was by design, forcing the children to compete for supremacy and certain privileges. Meredith gave and took her beatings like everyone else and on balance she won more than she lost. There is only one significant loss in that time when at the age of thirteen one of her rivals forced her arm into a workshop band saw Meredith could have bled to death had it not been for her force sensitivity and the quickness of her teacher with a blowtorch on the wound. She lost the arm and has had it replaced with a series of cybernetics. The rival was expelled from school, as harsh as it was, there was still an expectation of discipline and act went beyond those boundaries. The following year this rival was found with his throat cut and the only clue was a vaguely 14 year old shadow caught on a broken camera leaving the scene.
After school she joined a force adept school on Kalidan-Lysenia and continued to grow in power, eventually joining the Risen Empire Inquisitorius branch. She has risen through the ranks through various methods.
She is exceptionally powerful with the force but prefers to only show a measure of her power, forcing people to underestimate her to their peril. Her power is different to that of the more flashy sith and Jedi. She has come from cultures where force users are restricted in freedoms but has grown to adapt to that. Very few people know that she has a pet ysalimir lizard that she places near her to train to reach the force when it is being denied to her. She has become good at this, even voidstone now has minimal effect. The way she explains it is that a jedi is a sports speeder, flashy and high performance, but put a barrier in their way and they crash. She is more of a bulldozer.
All this being said she is incredibly loyal to the values of Empire. She holds it with such high regard that her few peers have joked that she relaxes to videos of military parades. This might even be true. The Empire do not trust her mastery of the force, and they are right to be cautious, many empires have fallen to the force, it is the reason for the existence of her role. Luckily they can trust her.
She is an excellent duellist, trained in the spinning saber of her order but preferring a single handed dual phase blade. She has also created and mastered her own form of weaponless martial art utilising the force to block blades in quick succession and attack back meaning she should never feel unarmed.
