Towards the end of the year, after countless wars, it may be good for everyone to rest a little and not have to worry about what’s going on across the galaxy. This day, this evening is about something completely different. Today, everyone only had to relax and have fun. All this power in a luxurious and safe environment where you didn’t even have to worry about financial worries because everyone is a guest of the house today.

There were colors and decorations for the season everywhere on the ship, not to mention the lighting and music. Because the ship was huge in size, a lot of people could come here from all parts of the galaxy if they wanted to. It was possible to dance, talk, do business (if someone wanted to do something like that), gamble. Different halls and places were waiting for everyone.

Here, for a few hours, social classes did not exist, and even those from the bottom line could feel like rulers. Everything in this place was perfect for this, and the ship was still stationed near the border of the Eternal Empire, so it was easily accessible to anyone. Anyway, the ship is a neutral area, though owned by the Empress, but owned by one of the companies and not hers actually. She never considered the board of the ship to be an imperial territory, it would ruin the Vex’s business.

The “gates” of the ship opened in the early evening, from which time guests could go to various rooms, casinos and other places where they could have fun and relax. Or they can leave behind this year full of wars.

There really is no such thing, through social thread. The venue is a free and open, neutral area, so no one here has to worry about arrest or anything like that. The point is that everyone has a great time and can play with others.
The right attire is of course expected. Have fun with all the Eternal Empire players and our friends!

Another “event” she has to attend. As far as she knew, alone. Since it was still the ship of the Vexillium, Tubrok did not come. And she didn't know if AMCO AMCO would come, if his time would let him. As a matter of fact, she was last here on the ship when she was in talks with Veles Oshu Veles Oshu and Caulder Dune Caulder Dune . She also invited the two men to this event, of course, and then it will be revealed if they will come or not.

Now she was alone, as always, when she was aboard the Vexillium, the directors of the Vex invited her to a conversation. They made no secret of their joy at the death of the Emperor, not to mention that Ingrid had become the new Empress because she deserved it. After all, Tacitus took the place of Tubrok and the woman when he came to Nelvaan and founded the Eternal Empire. As usual, the woman was not happy with these words, she was still loyal to her dead emperor.

As she walked down the hall, she got a drink from one of the waiters. Today she didn’t want to be an Empress, just an average person at a party. She shouldn’t have been here in her own shape, but she couldn’t do that. Ingrid should have listened to Adrian, only unfortunately the woman was very adamant at work and she definitely had to do the job. Just wanted to be an agent or a director of Blackwatch again. Although she already considered it too high a rank. Being in the background, in the shadows, was always much better than anything else. Let’s just say she’s been able to do pretty much everything because she’s become a shape-shifter.

She went to the huge garden, now she preferred to be here rather than in one of the rooms. It sat among the many colourful winter flowers that had an ironic effect on the environment, as holographic snow was falling in the air and there also seemed to be real snow on the ground. After drinking her drink she put her glass to the side and just watched the virtual snowfall. It would have been nice to be on Kalidan or Nelvaan right now, in real snowfall, but there were things she couldn’t get right away.

Maybe once, but she still enjoyed those few minutes until she could really be alone with her own thoughts…

Saryn was never one to pass up the opportunity to attend a good party! He'd dressed himself in a seductive, revealing red dress and high heels, with a very festive hat sat atop his silky blonde hair, determined to look as glamourous as ever amongst his fellow partygoers. His Nubian starship, the "Amidala", docked with the Vexillium, Saryn stepping forth through the boarding arm to join the festivities, tailed by a mob of his friends and other affluent socialites from Sith Imperial space who'd joined him on the journey.

While they all funneled in to join the party, he made his way to the nearby garden for a bit of privacy while he reapplied some of his make up, using his reflection in a little pond. His gaze briefly wandered, until spotting the Empress herself relaxing on a nearby bench. "OH! I, err, didn't mean to disturb you, your majesty."

Alisteri was not usually one for parties. He had only experienced a couple over the span of his life, most of them being very recent in the form of minor victory celebration by Legionnaires after a battle, so he wasn't the most well versed in them. Still, he found himself striding into the Vexillum nonetheless.

Although he had no ship of his own, his efforts in the recent defense of Korriban and Dantooine had impressed enough Legionnaires to be able to fly in on a ship that carried some officers to the party. Thankfully they were content to let him go about the party alone; evidently they had spotted some comrades and went off to share new stories.

That or to grab a drink, either way he managed to slip away from that group without much fuss.

He had done his best to clean up his outfit, as he had nothing else to wear to such an occasion, but he hadn't managed to get it fully presentable. Thus he had chosen to wear his red cape as well. However, it was little more than a shroud of red to hide parts of his outfit that he deemed too damaged or too sloppily patched to be exposed.

Hardly worthy of a party, but he did his best with what he had.

His gaze wandered around the area of the ship that he had emerged into, idly counting the staff of the party amongst the crowds. It seemed the festivities hadn't properly started yet, too many people were still arriving.

A part of him pitied the amount of food and hard drinks that would be spent on this party.

The acolyte didn't break stride as he steered clear of the various groups of people. He had spotted a seat off to the side of the main centers of attention and he intended to snag it before someone else did.

Lark

Saint of the Damned
Lark stared at the hanging lights with doe eyes, shimmering nearly as much as those beautiful golden, green and red glows. This was one of the merriest gatherings he had ever attended, he felt as though his heart was light enough to start floating. The wreaths of evergreen needles and carven wood nutcrackers atop the homely fireplaces brought Lark a surreal sense of happiness and joy that was wholly unfamiliar to him. There wasn't any political scheming going on behind shut curtains, no threats of war or rallies for further conquests. Just the Eternal Empire and their allies coming together for a few relieving moments of peace and serenity. It wasn't as debaucherously scandalous as Adrian's party, nor was it as ridiculously elegant as the First Order's Inauguration Ball. It was just... comfortable.

Normally Lark wore his typical white and gold robes to events such as this, though tonight he was glad he chose to dress a bit for festive and down-to-earth. He wore a strange red hat with a cotton bob at the end, and a sweater with snow-covered trees and a reindeer stitched onto it. Around his neck was a silky green scarf that matched well with his hair to fit the color theme.

He wished their were more opportunities to unwind like this. The thrill of the next battle or new excitement with the Sith was great fun, but having a place such as this to retire to made Lark's soul full of delight. He finally managed to tear his eyes away from the lights and move to a table where patrons may decorate their own ornaments and place them on a large tree in the middle of the room. Lark took the ball-sized bauble and tried to paint something that matched the lively atmosphere. He moved the paintbrush delicately, and after a few minutes and gently placed his work on one of the tree branches. He had painted a small tree limb draped with snowfall, and resting upon the branch was a harmonious cardinal taking in the beauty of it all.

Bells continued to jingle merrily, corallers sang the most festive songs one could imagine. Lark grabbed a drink to suit the occasion, a cup of eggnog mixed with a bit of rum. He sat down on a cushy couch by a fireplace, and wrapped himself in the most snug blanket in the basket. The crackle of the fire mixed perfectly with the chiming of the bells and the cheery piano notes. The warmth of the blanket, the heat of the fire, and the delicious eggnog made Lark as cozy as he had ever been.

This is nice.

A rush, and a push, and Val Drutin was unceremoniously kicked onto the ship. The blow was delivered by a polished black boot, and while it had been intended to knock him flat on his face, Val managed to land on his feet with a dancer’s feline grace.

He looked around, the unpleasant circumstances of his arrival quickly forgotten by the distractions on offer. There were… ornaments? And you could paint them? Oh! Amazing! Wow! Incredible!

Before anyone could stop him, he had zipped over to the table holding the blank ornaments, paint, and other decorations, picked up a bauble and a brush, and begun painting it quite furiously. The resulting image upon the ball could only have come from a disturbed mind such as his—dozens of watchful eyes all grouped together, all in different shapes and sizes and colors. Finished, he set aside the brush (he’d been careful not to get so much as a dab of paint on his costume) and skipped off to hang the ornament on one of the trees.

Wearing: A holiday themed jacket

Jai slowly walking into the party, just like any self respecting... fighter, he still had at least some armor. A Beskarweave cloak. It was honestly beautiful there. All the decorations and everything. He was there to just calm himself though. To step away from war and battle for a change, and hopefully put his mind at ease. He looked around, smiling a little for the first time since he got the new of him homeworld being freed. It May've sounded odd, but it left him not knowing what to do next. After everything he'd done.... He just didn't feel like he could go back. This though. A little bit of cheer. It helped.

He walked up, deciding to try and avoid drinks this time. He just wanted to relax some. He looked around, not sure what to do, but hey. It was a party.

Ingrid could sit alone for a while. Meanwhile, she saw several people gathering ornaments from the trees and then started painting them. Apparently everyone had a good time. Or at least the majority. As for her, she didn't know yet. While this place and opportunity was fun for others, it was partly a job and a duty for her. If not as an empress at the moment, she still represented HPI since she was the CEO. Vex executives held their own private event. The woman also used to attend very wild parties and orgies, which maybe even AMCO AMCO would blush into, but she didn't want to know about the Vex leaders' party.

Thoughts like this and the like came to her mind when suddenly a young man appeared beside her and addressed Ingrid. She looked through him, fortunately she followed the diplomatic and such affairs throughout the galaxy, so she immediately got to know the young man. Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex 's latest consort. Luckily, she only had to think for a moment about what was the young man’s name who could have been about ten years younger than she was.

”Mr. Naberrie, welcome!”

She didn’t ask if the former emperor had come, she didn’t feel the man’s presence, so Naberrie is probably alone here. It may be true that the man is already too old for the kind of fun that younger ones have. But after all, no one can ever know.

”How do you feel in the Sith Empire? I guess it wasn’t necessarily easy to integrate. A very different culture than Naboo, where you come from.”

Now she tried to speak in a less military voice, much more directly, after all, she was not on duty. Although she could have acted, it would have gone without a hitch, but now she didn’t. The red-haired woman was a little tired, mentally, she didn’t remember when she rested last time. So she opted for mere formality and courtesy.

Saryn smiled when the Queen addressed him, awkwardly straightening out his dress. "Oh! It's definitely been an.....adjustment, for sure. Still, I've been doing well enough.", he said with a soft giggle. "I'm surprised your that well informed about me given my service to the former Emperor is only a recent thing. Though I imagine information is power when your ruling an Empire."

Saryn reached into his handbag, withdrawing a small present wrapped up in gaudy wrapping paper. "It's actually convenient I bumped into you. I would've left this with the other gifts for you, but, I always prefer to hand deliver presents!", he said with a smile, offering the wrapped gift to the Empress. If opened, she'd find a small golden pendant encrusted with kyber crystals. "I hope you like it! It cost quite a lot but I figured royalty deserved such a gift."

Darth Strosius Darth Strosius wasn't the only one with sights on that far cornered seat. Alina, in a cheery Sithmas themed dress no less, was looking absolutely miserable. She wasn't here as a Sith, or at least, not as an Acolyte. In light of her accomplishments on Dantooine and Korriban her mother deemed it necessary that the future face of their noble house would arrive and make nice with the Sith's allies. Dresses weren't her thing. Parties weren't her thing. None of this was her thing.

So she sought refuge away from the groups. Standing around and greeting people had become a very, very stressful thing to deal with. Her gaze was on the alcohol, wishing she would of been old enough to actually get some. But with her mother here, there was no way for her to even sneak any. She'd have quite the time trying to make it through this sober. The fact another, and a fellow acolyte at that, sought the same at least made her feel better. Not everyone was built for parties.

Though she quickly remembered her non Sithlike attire and immediately felt horrible about the fact it was an Acolyte she'd actually met before. Awkwardly she took a seat and offered a small wave to the masked figure.

"Uh. Hey."

Alisteri sighed in relief as he slid into the seat, relishing the chance to rest his body for a moment. He could still feel a bruise here or there from one or more of the recent conflicts that he had been in. A respite, however brief, was a welcome one indeed. He rested his elbows on the little table between the chairs and sat in silence for a moment.

Said moment ended once Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru sat at the same table.

"Oh, uh, hello." He responded with a nod, doing his best not to give away that he had barely even noticed her sit down before she spoke.

Too wrapped up in his own musings he supposed. His gaze flickered over her attire for a moment and he idly pulled his cape around himself a bit more to hide more of his clothing.

He felt a bit embarrassed almost, he hadn't dressed for the occasion at all and he didn't want that fact to be on full display.

He cleared his throat and shifted in his seat before speaking again. "It's a pleasure to see a familiar face here. How have you been? Last we met...well the first we met I remember you were in that little exhibition on Korriban, yes?" The acolyte couldn't recall if he had seen her since, it had been a rather busy few weeks with all of the invasions and whatnot. Most of that time had been spent either fighting or recovering from said fighting in his case.

370d9lz.png

It was impossible for her to even tell what Darth Strosius Darth Strosius was feeling under that helm, not that knowing he was embarrassed about his own choice of attire would make her feel better. Alina set her hands in her lap, staring at them as she didn't dare look up to the party. Her mother was probably out there, judging her. Always judging her. The young Acolyte practically jumped out of her chair as he cleared his throat, looking up to him immediately.

"I.. Ah. Yeah. That was the last we met. I don't think we actually had a chance to speak after that. It was.. Tiring." Scarring, more like. She still had burns from that acolytes lightning. "Well.. I'm Alina Tremiru. So, it's nice to meet you officially I guess."

A slight incline of his head was the only reply Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru got from him for a brief moment. It was always nice to finally be able to put names to faces, especially if those faces belonged to fellow Sith. Alisteri noticed that she seemed distracted as well, so he didn't feel as bad about his occasional pauses and long thoughts. "Indeed it is. I'm Alisteri Haxim."

He let the silence linger in the air, glancing away from his fellow acolyte to observe the crowds and the party around them. "I am...admittedly surprised that you're here, if you don't mind me saying."

The acolyte gestured to her festive outfit. "I figured that most people would prefer brushing elbows with the more...refined guests here than sitting on the outskirts." It was both a slightly probing statement and one of genuine curiosity.

There was a laugh from the young acolyte as she looked back to Darth Strosius Darth Strosius . She had been fine with the silence, but the conversation her fellow acolyte decided to bring up did earn a chuckle. "Only if you don't mind me saying the same." There was a smile for a brief moment, but as he continued she realized he didn't mean what she did.

"Ah, right. My.. Family came. So I had to come. What about you? You don't look like you were planning to come at all."

The masked man glanced down at himself before he replied, inwardly cursing. Had it been that obvious? He knew that he should've tried to snag a spare a hat or something from one of those Legionnaires.

"Oh. Uh, well I hadn't been planning to initially..."

He paused and his gaze moved from Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru to the crowd once more. After a second or two of searching he spotted one of the officers that he had arrived with and pointed towards the group that he was in. Said officer seemed to be enjoying more than a couple of drinks. "I..." Another pause before he decided to tweak his lie slightly.

"Well you see, I'm actually assigned to keep an eye on that officer over there. Have to make sure that no one poisons his drink or drags him off to kill him somewhere quietly, that sort of thing."

Alina watched silently as the masked figure turned his head away. Those couple seconds of quiet made her wonder if there was something more.. Sinister to his presence. Or hush hush. Or if he was formulating a lie. It was hard to tell without seeing his face, but she figured it had to be one of those three. Certainly had to be. Her gaze followed to where Darth Strosius Darth Strosius was pointing.

Oh. An officer. The lie went swimmingly as the woman nodded in understanding. "Babysitting. One of the worst things you can end up doing." She exhaled a breath as she leaned against the table. "How are your lessons going? Do you have a master?"

Breaker of Chains
Codex Judge
A silent sigh of relief left the acolyte, his shoulders sagging just a bit under his cape. Good, he hadn't lost his ability to tell a little fib here or there then. He nodded along in agreement, but Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru 's questions brought his movements to a standstill.

His master. Of course he had one, but he hadn't heard from his master in quite a few weeks.

"I haven't had a proper lesson in a few weeks, the recent invasions that we've had to fight off have been keeping me too busy. I'm sure you could say the same?" Just like that Alisteri was back to telling the truth, although he decided to leave her second question hang in the air for the moment. "There's no training quite like fighting in a war I suppose."

"Likewise. I imagine she was plenty busy with her own things." There was a pause before Alina rested her chin onto the table, arms crossed before her to cover more of her face. Hide the uncertainty that'd formed. "Perhaps next time I'll be able to asist her." And there would be a next time. Whether against the mosntrous Bryn or the Imperial traitors, there would always be war. Her hands gripped at her arms tightly as the frustration built.

"I suppose there's not, though I don't feel I learned much. Just how to not die." She spat the words out, a glare in her eyes as she watched the party going on. A sigh escaped her. Right. Control the emotions. They don't control her. Her gaze turned to Darth Strosius Darth Strosius curiously.

"You always wear a mask?"

Breaker of Chains
Codex Judge
Alisteri shifted his gaze away from Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru as she spoke, a small hum being his only response. He could understand that, his master had wound up leaving him once or twice for some purpose that she had neglected to enlighten him about. He supposed that such things just came with Sith, sometimes they had secret business to handle.

A small chuckle left him, in spite of himself, at her next remark. Even though she seemed to have harder feelings on the matter than he did, the masked acolyte still understood. "Sometimes that is the best lesson to learn." He offered, almost as a suggestion.

He blinked in surprise at the question, turning his head slightly to stare at her face for a moment. "Well not always...just most of the time. I still have to eat and drink and whatnot you know?" A small shrug punctuated his reply. "I just like being prepared, you never know what will be coming your way. Besides, really pulls the look together right?"

There was a grim, if small, nod in agreement. Darth Strosius Darth Strosius was pretty wise. Maybe someone to try and make nice with, if at least to keep him on her side. Force knows she'd already had to face the anger of a Sith Lord from following the decree of another. Friends close, enemies closer or something. She turned her head as she rested it on her arms, peering at the masked figure curiously.

"Just makes me curious what you're hiding. Some terrible scars? A well known face?" A coy grin formed. "Maybe you're actually really cute but that ruins the whole aesthetic you got going? Can't be dark and spooky if you're getting all the looks right?" Really, Alina was just latching onto the idea she might be able to have a half way decent conversation. Something.. Normal. Friendly. She did well to hide the desperation there, but, her well wasn't. She'd yet to truly learn how to hide her emotions as a Sith should.
