This clarification has been added to the Starship Guide to emphasize the need for crazy weapons systems needing their own submissions:



For any particular weapon that goes over 40 capital guns in value, a tech sub will be required.

Rationale: A single heavy quad long-range turbolaser is 40 capital guns. There aren't many example in cannon of ships even fielding a single gun this powerful. This protects you, as it allows you to clearly define the weapon's strengths and weaknesses, and it protects the wider community from a single weapon have half of a ship's power focused into it.
 
Change for Minor Factions owning ships:

OLD:

Minor factions can only have unique, PC captained ships between 401-1000m

NEW:

A minor faction may have a number of ships between 400 and 1000 metres equal to its number of members. If an excessive number of ships are reported, RPJs may decide on a reasonable amount based on active membership

* At check in if they fail to maintain the active membership the size of the ships they have is reduced.
 
Adding the following line to all Templates:

Primary Source: (Please link the source of another writer's submission that you are modifying for your use; only necessary for "Chaos Canon" submissions)
This is to prevent plagiarism and to provide credit to those writers who have created something before hand and the secondary writer is making edits to.
