He chuckled at her protest, holding up a hand as if to assure her it was alright. "It's quite alright, i'm sure anything that's evil was taken from this place long ago, and if not, i'll just stop you from taking it." He smirked with a grin, giving a shrug of his shoulders as she offered her assistance. Connecting with the creatures was generally easier for him given the Exile's abilities, but it was something any force user could tap into, and two minds doing so would always be better than one. "Very well, let's go then." She had already begun to move before he spoke, but he quickly fell into step along with her, moving through the cavern entrance and back towards the nest.

As she opted to take one side of the room he nodded, focusing on the right side of the canyon that they moved through. His connection with them was natural, and having already made such a link it was easy to tap into, not even the slightest inclination of any action came from the insects on the right side, none were willing to leave their hibernation as they all knew too well that the two within the cavern would offer them absolutely no harm so long as they did not attack. Aryn simply continued through the cavern, up towards the large bunker entrance to the observatory on the other side. Any defences which it once had were deactivated long ago, and their connections to the insects were abruptly severed as they reached the doorway.

Holding his hand out towards it, Aryn instead chose to focus upon the door, slowly focusing on the latches as he dragged it open for the two of them, the way opening up into the ancient observatory.

Inyri remained quiet throughout their walk and approach of the observatory, the first one to take a few tentative yet ever silent steps inside, "Definitely... Dark side," She muttered, mouth twitching slightly as she looked around briefly at the interior, her face devoid of any extreme emotion, "And definitely old." A shiver ran up the Knight's back, dancing on her spine like specters while she moved deeper in, "So... Aryn Teth. Does he have a story?" It was idle conversation, simply asking about his background, but there was a touch of genuine fascination in her voice as if she was truly eager to know more about him.

It contrasted sharply with the austere and dangerously regal energy of the observatory, but Inyri had pushed that aside as she looked around, hands tucked back behind her, lost in the flow of grey robes. She didn't wander too far from him, however -- Waiting for his answer first.

Aryn raised his shoulders in an idle shrug as he moved into the room, gaze flicking curiously around the interior of the observatory. "One that's much, much too long to tell in such a dark place." He answered in an unintentionally mysterious manner, gaze flicking around the interior of the observatory as they stepped within. It was surprisingly small, a console sitting in the center of the room which was connected to the actual observatory systems, but the vast majority of the room was filled with old artifacts, ones that most ordinary looters would view as junk, and otherwise empty, looted crates which were scattered across the floor. Things were tossed around and out of place, and it was more than evident that the two of them were a pair of many, many visitors who had come to such a place.

He didn't move to make any more of an indepth answer to her question, it was largely true after all, Aryn's story was long, and complicated, and far too unfit for a place such as the Emperor's old observatory. "I'll share on the way back out of here, but the basics are the same as any old story, Rebel turned Jedi, turned General." He explained with a gentle shrug of his shoulders, glancing over towards her then. "And what about you? What's your story?"

The Guardian almost looked sad at the state of the place, despite it's origin. Shrugging her shoulders, she turned back around to face him, walking slowly back to the exit, "Yours sounds far more exciting. I come from a world where if you land on it, you explode from the atmosphere's pressure." Stating that nonchalantly, Inyri continued back towards him, arms behind her back, "My father was a human, and my mother a Kage. I was raised as a warrior since the time I could walk, but then my master found me, and she... She expanded my view."

Ending her brief tale on that equally as mysterious note, she crossed back through the threshold of the Observatory, "That was mine, now for yours." Rebel, Jedi, General... Far more of a decorated list than her own. Though, it was easier to focus on the first two titles he had, rather than the final one, which just served to make her feel fairly inferior in comparison. A 'rebel Jedi', though, she could work with.

Aryn nodded as he listened curiously to Inyri telling her story, he couldn't recall meeting anyone from Quarzite previously, and indeed the way she left her story off was more than enough of a mysterious note to leave the man somewhat interested in where the rest of her story went. Yet as they turned back around and began to move back out of the observatory, he chuckled at her comment and quick turnaround to bring the topic once more to himself. "Very well, I suppose you've pushed me enough that I will have to work out some response." He nodded, reaching up to curiously scratch at his chin as he watched the woman, turning his gaze away as they moved back out of the observatory finally.

"Well, i'm from Eriadu originally, left a rich family to wander the stars, and ended up being caught up with a rebel cell engaged against the First Order and the Empire. It's funny to think back on it now, I was pretty much terrified of the force in those days, mostly because of the strange looks I kept getting from every Jedi I met." He explained, briefly recalling such looks when he'd visited Tython and the like. "I was captured by the Empire eventually, was a prisoner for a few months but eventually managed to escape, it was around then I learned I was force sensitive too, and so I started working on training myself, it was a long process, boring as well, no one really wants to know about it." He chuckled at that, shrugging as he continued along.

"I'm very hard to bore, General." Inyri reassured with a clever smile, stating his title with an edge of sarcasm. That in itself seemed rare, like she trusted the situation now enough to reveal some inner emotions before clamming back up again, back to processing his story. Admittedly, she didn't know much of his homeworld, yet that didn't stop her from laughing quietly as he stated that he had been afraid of the Force, having listened quite attentively. She could sympathize with being stared at, clearly she did -- Standing out was hard. Finally, after a moment of silence following Aryn's story, Inyri spoke, "You've trained yourself, then. And rose to your heights despite that. Very admirable." She sounded genuine about that praise, but her eyes drawn to the sky, "I suppose eventually we'll have to leave. The bugs might get hostile again... Plus you probably have a war to be winning, seeing as I'm not the one you were looking for."

It wasn't just that. She had her pilgrimage to continue, and whilst she might have enjoyed staying and chatting and letting the stress go, it didn't seem very likely to continue. At this point, it was just stalling and excuses to stick around in each other's company.

He shrugged his shoulders at her words, the praise was certainly appreciated, but Aryn had heard it from many more people before, by this point it wasn't anything new as he watched her. At her next comment Aryn couldn't help but chuckle, he did indeed have things to get back to, in all reality he knew too well that he should have left much sooner, once he knew that she was indeed not a member of the Imperial Inquisition. "indeed, though I must say, I have quite surprisingly found a great degree of amusement in your company, despite our meeting, Inyri." He smirked, seeming to genuinely find a considerable amount of amusement as he continued through the cavern with her.

As they moved, it seemed they didn't need to be concerned too greatly with the bugs, they had almost all gone back to sleep and those that remained awake were simply there to watch the two humanoids and ensure that indeed they would not pose any threat to the hive as a whole. Before long the two had once more left the cavern, his X-wing landed nearby along with her own ship as Aryn smiled, turning back towards Inyri. "Well, I think we can both say it might be best to keep the majority of our interaction today to eachother, no need to spark a diplomatic incident, hm?" He chuckled.

"That seems to be for the best," Inyri agreed, adding quickly, "Hopefully the next time we see each other will not on the opposite sides of a battlefield." She glanced past him at his X-Wing, raising an eyebrow at the ship and then looked towards her own meagre vessel with a sigh, "Staying in touch would be nice." It wasn't structured like a demand or a request, but a general statement. Adding on with a knowing smile, "Well, avoiding diplomatic incident anyways."

Raising her hand in a gesture of farewell, she let herself reach out with the Force for just a brief moment. Inyri's calm and familiar energy touched upon his one last time before turning towards her ship, trudging back towards the lowering ramp. It was akin to a warm breeze drifting by on a cool day. Pleasant, but passing all the same.

Chuckling somewhat at her words, Aryn nodded his head once. "Indeed, I would rather meet next time without us drawing sabers against one another." He smirked, seemingly amused by her words as he shrugged his shoulders to her suggestion. Reaching down into a pocket on his belt, he drew out a small comlink chip, holding it out towards the woman. "Should the Sovereignty need to contact the Alliance, my private comm channel is on there." He explained with a warm smile, giving her a nod as he let her take the small chip. Giving her a warm smile, he started to move over to his X-wing as he climbed up the ladder, glancing back towards the woman as he stood up atop the ladder beside his craft.

"Till next we meet, Miss Inyri." He gave her a nod, climbing down into the pilot's seat of his X-wing, placing his helmet on as the cockpit closed and the starfighter slowly began to raise over the ground. Deftly and quickly, the ship adjusted its direction and began to take off, shifting easily through the lower part of the valley before it tilted upwards and launched upwards out of the atmosphere, progressively disappearing into the distance.
