Money, Money, And More Money (Lex/Aedan) (Complete)

VAULT FLOOR-CORRIDOR

@Lex Matako @Aedan Miles

"Triko have plan."

Running forwards into the dust cloud, hood covering his eyes from the blinding substance, both pistols facing forward, the jawa fired shot after shot after shot after shot, elbowing the dark figures in the murk, headbutting others, kneeing the bigger ones in the groin and shooting even more people. Bullets fired in all directions, ripping into Triko's shoulder and skimming by his head.

Sliding to the ground as blood poured from his shoulders, legs and just about everywhere else, he dropped his pistols, collapsing back on the ground, the steel droids whisking by and heading for squidface.

"Urgh..." He wheezed.

VAULT FLOOR-CORRIDOR

Lex looked at the Jawa falling to the ground in horror
"Potato Sack, no!"
He called out as now the security droids were making their way down the hallway towards him.
Lex clenched his jaw slightly and furrowed his brow in a glare as he took off his jacket behind cover, oh it was on.

Feeling out when the moment was right, he dashed out of the cover behind droids, they opened fire at him, of course, as they were programmed, he slid quickly on the floor between the legs of the closest one, avoiding fire as he quickly jumped up at its back, he wrapped his jacket around its head as other droid shot at him, bolts dissipating at the jacket's armor mesh, for now at least, the material was not very durable in that regard. Lex planted his feet firmly at the back of droid's hips. As the blinded machine kept firing, Lex turned it quickly in a jerky movement, directing its fire as his droid friend.
The machine shook as it was being shot at now, returning fire, aimed at Lex it unfortunately hit the droid Nautolan was riding on instead.
Thus successfully forcing the machines to destroy each other, Lex grinned that bright dashing Nautolan grin before it was quickly wiped out by the droid he was riding on leaning back, threatening to fall over and trap Lex underneath.
"Jawa, wake up, I'm coming!"
Was last thing he said before a loud metallic CRASH

Triko extended one bloodied hand, his eyes fluttering open and shut as he dug dark-gloved fingers into the floor.

It hurt. It hurt really bad.

"Triko... Triko hurt."

A deep trail of blood flowed in his wake, legs sliding across the thick liquid as he crawled.

"Help?" His tone was feeble.

VAULT FLOOR-CORRIDOR

Lex crawled out from beneath the wrecked droid body, surviving its crash as he stood up and dusted himself off, taking his jacket and the bag of loot he's been carrying with him.
The Nautolan looked to his Jawa friend, hearing his cry of help, Lex clenched his jaw, rushing forward to the broken Jawa as he searched his pockets, taking out a capsule of bacta,
"Here, Jawa, eat thi-"
Lex stopped himself as he looked at the Jawa, glancing at the hooded, masked face. He clenched his brows slightly, trying to determine where the Jawa's mouth would be and how would it look like.
"Or here, just stand still."
He corrected himself as he took a bacta injector, putting the capsule into it he stabbed into Jawa's upper forearm region, injecting it into him to stabilize him.

Triko coughed up more blood, the bacta having little to heal him, but at the very least he could now just about hobble around.

"We almost done, squidface." He staggered for the lift shaft, crambling atop the rubble while dribbling more blood, his leg at an uncomfortable angle as he staggered onto the ground floor. "Come here." Reaching into his poncho with one shaking hand, he drew a polished bantha horn which had been carved to make it something of an instrument, metal bands round each end covered in elaborate markings and runes.

Putting it to his lips, he blew loudly, shaking the building as he did so.

"Quick, squidface. Time shorter than Triko."

Lex raised his eyebrows at the displays of bantha horn-blowing.
He followed in behind staggering Jawa
"Quick and what? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do."
Lex commented carrying the bag of loot over his shoulder as he looked from the horn up through the shaft of the elevator towards other levels
"Also, not sure what just happened."

There was a low rumbling sound in the otherwise silent, debris-filled bank that grew into a hoarse snarl as a large, three-ton albino bantha clad in the HOB-NOB Bantha propulsion device thundered out from the shadows, its nostrils flaring and hooves barely touching the ground as it sped through the front of the bank, flames, metal and a combination of both were cast in all directions, concrete and dust filling the main hall, the bantha's horns now having ensnared a flag and multiple light fixtures, most of which had been thrown off with its great speed.

Blowing the horn again without flinching, the bantha slowed itself, the rockets cooling down and the creature pounding through the wall to the right of Triko and skidding into the back wall with just enough speed to cause a web of cracks to appear across the surface.

"Get on, squidface." Climbing atop the beast, he reaffirmed himself with the leather saddle.

"This getaway."

Next thing they knew, Lex was clenching to the saddle and Bantha fur behind Triko, his wet glistening eyes wide open in surprise and the amazement simply over the circumstances of it all.
"I still have no idea what's happening or how this came to be!"
Lex called out, brandishing his pistol, just in case they needed extra firepower.
The Nautolan glanced to Triko
"Does this.. vehicle has a name?"

@[member="Lex Matako"]

"Rocket called HOB-NOB."

They sped off, clattering through the back wall and emerging out into the streets of Harnaidan, Triko ducking down to make sure he didn't get decapitated by some stray rubble. He hoped Squidface was doing the same, because otherwise he was probably going to die.

"The bantha called Nero."

Just as he said this, he was engulfed by a cloud of dust as the bantha crashed through a concrete wall and speared a police vehicle with its horns, pushing it for a few meters before it was ripped in two. Ahead of them was another police vehicle, its front at a noticeable incline.

That'd do as a ramp.

"Squidface, hold tight." He hissed, increasing the speed of the rockets.

"That won't do"
Lex responded, clinging low to the Bantha fur, of course, staying low
"I'll call him Colonel Whiskers Fireballs!"
He was able to call out as they sped off on the Bantha, crushing through vehicles and concrete.
Nautolan glanced up to his Jawa counterpart slightly
"You want to abandon the third guy, by the way, and split loot between ourselves? I would be up for that."

@[member="Lex Matako"]

"Colonel Whiskers Fireballs? Triko much like!" He grinned, yanking on the reins to dodge a speeding... speeder.

"Split loot two?" He raised an eyebrow, some newfound sense of morality rising through the jawa's heart, a shining beacon of hope, kindness and prosperity--

"Triko ditch him." --that was then stood on, pushed into a ditch and urinated upon.

Now the ramp.

Thunk. The bantha's front legs made it onto the police vehicle's slanted rear end and almost instantly whizzed past, like it was covered in grease, it's rear legs following in the same fashion, Triko slamming down on the throttle as the front legs left the police vehicle and hit the air.

But it didn't fall.

The bantha kept going up, legs no longer moving but nonetheless, a bantha was indeed flying. Not just any bantha.

Colonel Whiskers Fireballs.

"Utini!" Triko squeaked as they soared by a building, letting go of the throttle slightly to ease them into a landing that would assuredly lose the police and end the heist.

Through the whole Flying Bantha Incident, Lex was clinging to the fur of their transport
"How does Bantha even have a throttle?!"
He called out as they soared through the sky like that kid from Neverending Story on the back of that dog dragon thingy.

When they finally hit the ground, he jumped off, tossing a bag of loot to Triko, through their flight he had time to separate the bounty into two equal parts as he called out.
"Thanks for a good time, Burlap Sack! I suggest we split before the cops catch up!"
Lex had his ship nearby, and although they lost the trailing cops for now, it was better not to take any chances.

Triko nodded, taking his share of the loot.

"Bye Squidface!" Hopefully he'd meet the nautolan again.

As the squat little jawa hobbled away, leading the bantha by means of a rope, he actually felt a little bit sad. He was going to miss the alien. Still, he needed urgent medical attention (on a different planet, of course) because he was bleeding just about everywhere.

Stepping up the ramp to The Kestrel, he tied the bantha up in the cargo hold and took off, disappearing into the empty void of space within seconds.
