STRENGTHS
Morgan is a droid, does not feel pain and is easily repaired
Like many droids is an expert slicer – can “talk” to most electronic systems mainframes, networks, databases, etc.
Protocol droid with vast knowledge of languages and cultures
Since she has not been memory-wiped in three years, she has a level of metaprogramming that makes her susceptible to human emotions like anger, sadness, happiness, jealousy, fear, surprise.
Morgan has a variety of software upgrades which she had installed. These include:
- Truth-scan software module
- Bioscan module software module
- Vision-plus scanner
- Circuit scanner
- Management Circuitry Subsystem
She was also recently installed with combat routines, advanced encryption and lockout systems for protection from slicers. Her ports contain socketguards which will electrocute anyone that tries to access her unknowingly. The only one who can get around this special encryption is her employer Gerion Ardik who has a special access code to circumvent the anti-slicing protection.
WEAKNESSES
Since Morgan has been programmed to be extremely self-aware with superior artificial intelligence she is occasionally prone to frustration when comparing herself to humans. She feels superior on some level but extremely inferior when it comes to human bonding experiences like falling in love and starting a family.
Can be manipulated into unscrupulous behavior. The female droid has a fluid concept of good and evil because she is used to having a maker/master and when on her own, is prone to making decisions which only help herself, whoever is helping her or any future masters. Occasionally she will act for the "greater good" of beings or droids but she is susceptible to manipulation.
Weak against EMP or Ion weapons.
She has limited tactile sensation.
APPEARANCE:
Made of synthskin and biofiber, Morgan is indistinguishable from a human female. She has blonde hair and is thin and attractive by human standards.
BIOGRAPHY:
MR-X97 was a custom-designed commission for a wealthy criminal businessman named Bartho Redeaux to be his protocol droid but he rarely had her leave his compound, essentially making her his companion/wife. This made MR-X97 resentful as she was programmed like normal protocol droids with a vast knowledge of language, culture, history, art and other social sciences and was being underutilized by Mr. Redeaux.
One night there was an execution-style raid on Mr. Redeaux’s compound and the human-replica droid escaped intact. She made her way to Coruscant, renamed herself Morgan Redeaux and met Cathan lawyer, Max Rumor. Max hired Morgan to help him establish a Coruscant branch for his lawfirm, Rumor, Wolf & Funk, Nar Shaddaa’s premiere legal associates.
The HRD was briefly recovered by her maker, droid engineer Lanax Grayson and he further unlocked more levels of metaprogramming to make her feel and seem more human.
Since Max Rumor went into rehab for spice addiction, Morgan spent her time as the Chief of Security for Hegemonic Automaton, but has since left Lianna. She currently works as an Assessor for Black Scorpion Security Limited.
