Personality:
Morrigan is what many would call peculiar. She spends most of her time with her winged companions, chatting and singing with them as if they were normal people. To her, they are. She always has at least one bird with her at all times. When she isn't conversing with birds, she can often be found playing beautiful melodies on her harp. She has a great love for music. In speaking with people she has a disturbing tendency to stare intensly as you talk and as she talks. It usually tends to make others uncomfortable to be around her. That and the whole bird thing. Other than that, she's a very friendly and insightful being. Angering her results in a Hellish onslaught of talons and feathers, as she will send her hord of birds swooping down upon you, or WORSE.
Biography:
Morrigan spent the first few years of her life amidst a trecherous jungle on an unknown world. She never discovered how she had gotten there. Only that she survived because of the birds. They kept her fed and protected until she was old enough to care for herself. Her ability to speak with them allowed her to learn basic language. When she was found, she was five years old. Her discoverers lived in a small but prosperous village amongst the ruins of a once great city. Upon finding her and witnessing what she could do, the villagers heralded Morrigan as a divine being and began calling her "Goddess of the Skies" and "The Empress of Birds". They made a place for her in a long-abandoned palace, giving her the finest things that they possessed and worshipping her on a daily basis.
Eventually, however, the planet was discovered by less-than-kindly people. Pirates made their way to the village. They found it to be the perfect place to set up their little organization. Of course, they weren't expecting Morrigan. She wouldn't stand for anything of the sort. She at first kindly advised them to go along on their merry way. They didn't take her seriously, and began poking fun at her. They even went so far as to break the neck of her most beloved bird and poor the blood out at her feet. That was the final straw. In the four months that followed, a bloody civil war was waged between the villagers and the pirates, with Morrigan leading the charge.
Finally, the war was nearing an outcome in favor of the villagers. Unfortunately, Morrigan was captured and smuggled off-world. She wasn't certain what would be done with her. Only that she may never see her home again.
The pirates weren't as bright as they made out to be, however. They were intercepted by the Host Lord of the Primeval, [member="Anja Aj'Rou"] . She discovered Morrigan in the cargo bay. Fascinated by this strange winged woman, Anja set her free, and gave her a place with the Primeval. Morrigan was all too happy to oblige. She wasn't a devout cultist or a serious participant with her new "family", but they gave her power and resources, and promised to aid her in rediscovering her homeworld.
