Which would be risky, because they could all band up against us and cause a whole hell of a lot of trouble.
Not necessarily. You can only add 5 non-faction members to an invasion/dominion, so if we invade they can only get so much help. We'd have to beat them quickly though, because we couldn't defend multiple invasions at once.

You can only have one invasion at a time. I know dominions don't matter but Invasions...

I see your point now. That's why we need to keep it inside the faction. The only thing that should be posted openly is research or tech searching for the weapon. It gives them a idea on what we are doing but they don't know completely.

So who all is participating in the actual event? And for that matter how many can participate? Lol sorry still new and wondering if I'm able to join in with this. Sounds intense.

But on the matter of the plan, i believe we should go 70/30, build some more power packing ships, while also making a few faster and harder to detect ships. It's always a more easy victory if you kill the civilization from the inside out. Send in a few big guns, maybe a few of our best fighters to handle the inside out part, while the rest of the fleet comes at the rest with everything we got.

The RP hasn't started yet, so none of us are committed to it, for the moment. As for the latter half, that's not entirely how Dominions work - they can be a simple attack, certainly, but generally, few worlds are going to be able to field true resistance against an Empire anyway. It's more the later invasions we need to worry about on that score, and that's far more a matter of member participation than what weapons we can field.

Ok so let me get this straight, we build a superweapon for the purposes of a story line? It will get destroyed and then what? What do we loose if its destroyed, beside a shed load of resources.

I am in two minds about this, I see Mikhails point on it being a waste of resource, but i can also see just how much fun it would be IC to play out....

Honestly, I don't believe so. Just from the brief reading that i've done the Sith Empire in this roleplay seems to be the strongest single faction at play right now with the most resources and of course the most money. The Lords of the Sith have not only positioned themselves as high ranks within the Order itself, but also on planets and such. Now in realism there would be a set amount of resources (you can only mine so much off of planets, and there is only a set amount of planets.) However for us to reach that limit of resources would be exponentially more than what the Empire currently has. (That's not to downplay the empire.) So honestly the waste of resources wouldn't quite matter to the Empire. It's not only the experience but as i'm sure we all know the Glory. The Sith Empire is full of narcissistic lords who would love nothing more than to be able to say that they created the greatest Superweapon of all time. (Not a dig at lords, just cannonly and i'm sure icly)

I'm definitely up to participate in the Dominion and anything else the Empire needs participation in. The only way to provide more story and experience to a character is to actually participate. Any writing or grunt work needed I will do of course, and participation is assured.
