Much To Learn You Still Have

Scene
A Kel Dor emerged from a house and stood in the streets of one of the lower levels of Coruscant. His clothes and fists bloodied. He seemed angry, many of the thugs and thieves walked around him, giving sideways glances. The Kel Dor looked around, unsure of what to do next.

Character
"They got what they deserved." Kor Salvek told himself as he looked down to his fists and clothes, the blood of his parents covered them. "It was all their fault I turned out like this." The young Kel Dor seemed to be trying to convince himself what he had done was right.

He saw a citizen walking by and shouted at them. "They did this to me!" He sank to his knees, holding back the tears as he began to think about what he had done. They had sold him into slavery when he was a child, all so they could a get a few extra spins on the slot machines. That justified what he did, he told himself.

He looked at the Kel Dor. Having been on the planet to meet an old friend he looked at this man and walked over to him with his hand out to him. "Are you ok..." He looked at the hands of the man and then past him at the house with which the Kel Dor had emerged. What had happened was something Solan more than planned to find out but for now his eyes focused in on the man before him. There had been few Kel Dor he really knew, only the one Jedi Kian Karr was a acquaintance of his from the Crusade that had been done to Dorin by the Sith. Maybe that was why he reached out to this man now, a sense of curiosity and pity all together... or maybe it was something else.

Kor heard the mans voice, and saw his hands outstretched to him. This person wanted to help him? Why would he want to? Maybe he was going to arrest him? All these thoughts ran through Kor's mind, adding confusion to the mix of anger and frustration. He began shaking his head and walk back, clenching his fists. "What do you want!?" He spat the words out towards the man.

"Hmm?" He looked at the Kel dor as the words came out, the confusion running off him and the anger and frustration. Someone was certainly coming out of something tramatic... or just a hot head, and boy was that something he needed today. "Right, my name is Solan Charr, wanted to see if you needed a drink or something to help with what ever just happened? No point in leaving someone like this when i can help you out to understand what ever is going on up there in your head." Solan was unorthodox, he rather looked at the root of one's problems and then helped them understand and control those problems for them to wield them like weapons.

Kor was taken back by this. This is how he expected it to go. This man was offering him therapy. At first he was about to decline, but then he thought about it. This man was offering to help him out. "I suppose I could go for a drink." All the emotions began to subside, he was calming down.

"A drink is always good with some food. Come one then." He grinned, but not out of malice. He was genuine in wanting to help this man but he full well knew what else could be done for him, control and power certainly was a key feature and the fact that he was able to so readily calm down would me controlling and wielding your emotions through the dark side would be much easier in the way that he taught. No man should be a slave to their emotions like the Sith were... no instead one hand to control and then use those emotions while remaining calm themselves. Hard to do but powerful in the result.

Kor said nothing, but instead studied this man. He seemed to have an air of authority around him, and the man knew it. Kor began to slowly follow the man as they made their way to a bar. "Why are you doing this?" His seemed unbother, but one could tell their was an undertone of curiosity.

"Why? Because i was in your position once. Distraught, hurt, alone, worried. I needed someone to help me and no one did... i came close to the same edge that you would have gone to. But i overcame it and i knew i needed to make sure others would and that is why i am doing this. You are someone who reminds me of my past, and that is why i am curious to help you... What happened back there?" He asked as he looked over his shoulder a the Kel Dor, the two of them coming up on the cantina that Solan had been heading towards.

Kor wasn't sure about how to go about this. Due to all the blood on him, this man obviosuly wouldn't be took shooked to find out what happen, so there would be no harm in telling him. "My parents, they were the worst kind of people!" The anger began to build up again as Kor thought about his parents. He stopped walking and looked back in the direction of the house. "They sold me, when I was a kid." He clenched his fists, his knuckles going a lighter color. "They got what they deserved."

Solan watched the man and for a few seconds he let the man's anger build before his hand came down on Kor's shoulder. "Calm... Its ok. I need to get something brought up though about this and its likely not going to be the thing you want to hear exactly but it is going to be the thing you need to hear. Everyone does things they come to regret, and everyone does things they never regret. What your parents sold you for does not matter, and into slavery is what im going to assume. What does matter is what you do with your future... I assume that blood is theirs... If so then you have already taken a step in the wrong direction but not something that cant be fixed... What did you feel when you did it."

Kor looked into Solan's eyes. "I don't know. It felt right. They got what they deserved, and I was happy to give it to them." He was unsure of what Solan was asking, but he hoped that this answered his question.

"I see... " Solan looked him over before nodding and thinking as he started walking again. "Tell me about what you have done in the past years, after you were sold if you would not mind doing so. As well as how you found your parents again." He glanced at the man and was taking stock on how he carried himself and how this would go over once he gave this man the offer that he was debating. He still needed to check on his aptitude with the force, but he had a good feeling about this one.

"I worked as a slave, for Roy Abram. He's dead too." Kor added the last past as almost and after thought to what he had just said. "And it wasn't hard at all. I could feel those damned Hutt spawns a parsec away." He continued to follow as Solan led him places.

"I see... Hmm." He smiled and turned into the cantina he had been heading for. "You see, i am asking because what you have in you is a potential that could be used for good or for bad things. Now keep in mind i am not saying that you should but you deserve to know..." He smiled at the man, leaving him curious about what Solan was talking about while he led the Kel Dor to a table. "Its called the force, that thing the Sith and Jedi always whine about is within you."

As they entered the cantina, Kor would take in the sights and the smells of the cantina. This was the most common place where his parents would be he thought to himself. "The Force? Yes I have heard of that." Kor would begin to nod, his facial feature would almost resemble that of a smile, although it would be hard to tell due to his mask.

"Good good... hey, two ales please, Corellian if you still carry it. I know its hard to come by these days but i can pay." He smiled at the twilek waitress and added a bit more. "And make sure to frequent our table, i have a feeling that we will be needing more than just that. I can make sure the tip is worth the effort." He winked and let her nod as he turned his head back to him. "Right, sorry. I have a habit of being a horrible flirt and cheesy to the fullest extent. Its what i like though. So where were we... oh yes, the force. Do you mind if i test something?"

Kor let out a small, almost laugh as Solan flirted with the waitress and then explained himself. It would seem that the Kel Dor was getting use to the Dark Jedi. "What kind of test do you have in mind?" He nodded his thanks to the waitress as they passed her. He then paid all his attention to Solan as he waited to find out what the test was.

"A Simple and small blood test, many use it to determine the force sensitivity of an individual like i will. But unlike many i will then give you a choice if you are such a being. You see, the Sith and the Jedi tend to in the past find a force sensitive and bring them into their orders... The current mockery of the past organizations that exist at the moment my give a choice as i do but i can pretty much say thats where it ends. As once you are a sith you can never leave. Another choice i offer to those that are sensitive... if that makes sense?"

"I suppose you can check my blood." Kor nodded as he held out his arm, waiting for Solan to check it. "What organization are you apart of if your not a Sith or a Jedi?" The individual infront of him was a curious one indeed.

"Well, you see i have a curious answer to that question. You could say i belong to no group at all. Freedom after all is sweeter than having to follow some ancient code that was scripted for an age of strife and conflict... not that we aren't in one now but the two of them fighting gives me such a headache i really cant stand the more.... set in their place members. And i wont need alot, just enough to test something, a pinprick amount should do." He fished out of a small case a small vial and needle, the two moving and Solan thinking for a moment as he looked over Kor's arm and nodded. "There it is." His hands quickly let the needle do its job and prick into his vain. While there would be a quick moment of pain, the rest of it remained rather painless and Solan finished drawing the needed amount soon after. "It will take a few minutes to register the blood, here." He pulled out of the case a swab of cloth and some adhesive. "I just need to apply this and then we can drink and talk, ok?"
