Much To Learn You Still Have

Kor was unphased by the pin prick, well it did hurt, but it was only a minute amount of pain. This was a bit confusing for Kor, maybe after sometime he would understand better. "What happens if my blood isn't what you want it to be?" He watched as Solan did his thing.

"What happens if you blood isn't what i think it is hmm?" He looked up from the data before smiling. "I offer you the same thing i would have if your blood was what im looking for. Keep in mind i in know way care if your blood is composed of what i expect it to be. I offered you my help and i plan to make sure that help is fully given." His eyes returned to the screen as he manipulated the readings. Looking for very specific count on a certain organism in the blood stream.

"So either way you will teach me?" Kor shrugged, as he looked down to the device. "How am I going?" He began to twiddle his thumbs as he waited.

Solan smiled wide at the question and set down the device before turning it and sliding it to Kor. Speaking while the Man would be able to watch the progress. "This isn't a fool proof method mind you, but it allows me easy understanding into the potential of an individual... im actually rather low on the scale, eight thousand i believe was my count. What im looking for is a microbe, a being that lives inside every living being, too small for the human or Kel Dor eye to see. It determines our sensitivity to the thing that i wish to train you in."

The numbers eventually settle on 9,000. Kor would up to Solan. "Is this number suitable?" He looked back down to the numbers and began to think. "Are you talking about the 'Force'." He raised his hands and did the mocking thing with his fingers.

Obviosuly Kor hadn't seen much of the Force growing up.

He watched him raise his hands and mock the word as he nodded and just smiled. "Actually i am and your numbers more than qualify you for sensitivity... but that is only a primary test mind you but one that allows me to confidently hand out to you that offer of training. But not simply in basic all around abilities and to help you recover. But i also do offer you the training in the force that you hold the potential for. Of course and as i said before, the choice is yours to make, you do not have to accept my offer if you do not wish to do so."

Kor considered the question. Although he was somewhat skeptical of the whole Force thing, he thought that it might benefit him. He began to slowly nod. "I don't see why I shouldn't." He looked around the table, before settling his eyes back to Solan. "What will the training involve?" It was a genuine question. In Kor's mind, this man might just want another personal slave, and that was something Kor wasn't going to do.

"To be honest, not really sure. You are basically going to be my first student so forgive me if i am not too... experienced with determining what the best lessons are. Though im sure that the two of us can get it figured out and atleast with me there is no plan to simply just take advantage of you. After all there is a reason im not with the Sith." Solan felt the doubt and while he had a feeling that was what the worry was about there was the truth in his words. He had no plans to harm Kor or use him like a tool.

Kor nodded slowly, processing the information. This seemed like a good deal. But there was one thing that was bothering him. "What if I don't like this training, am I free to leave?" That word he had just said, 'free' it was a weird sensation for him. If this was going to be a lock in contract, it was something that Kor was not going to do.

(Sorry about the wait)

"Well, if you don't like it i waill personally pay for you to go where ever you please. I work under the principal that we are free to determine out own paths, not have them forced on us like the Jedi or Sith do. So to be honest. IF you do not like my training, or feel it is not right for you, then i will give you a first rate ticket to where ever you want. With no charge." He waited for the Kel Dor to process this, his own eyes focusing on the device as he archived a few files and waited for Kor to know what he wants.

Kor slowly nodded. "Well, it sounds like we have a deal." He stretched out his hand for a handshake. Kor was obviously more comfortable around Solan than he was at the start.

"That it is, i just hope you dont get space sick. Its going be a long way back to my place and boy do i hate when people get space sick. It goes absolutely everywhere when the artificial gravity cuts out." He smiled at the Kel Dor as he took the hand and shook it before speaking again. "I guess you want to know about me then? Well, Go ahead and ask anything that comes to mind. Im open to answer anything you ask."

Kor shook his head. "No I don't." Kor had no idea if he would get space sick as he had never left the planet at all. Kor leant back in his chair, and looked to Solan. "How long have you been doing this?" He was interested about this man.

"What, offering people training or the force thing?" He looked at the man and smiled as he answered. "You are my first official full time student, but ive been doing the force thing for almost two decades now. My parents were both Jedi and contrary to how that sounds they only were able to pass on their morals... but not their methods. My methods are more absolute in their end which is what i will be showing you."

This man sitting in front of him was a very interesting person. "I guess this is going to be an interesting time of my life. When do we get started?" Kor was very eager to get off this blasted planet and begin learning.

"We can start when ever you so wish though i do suggest we leave this planet before we start your training. The Sith don't like it when people go running around on their planet and showing off. Tends to get you on their bad side." He smiled at them and turned in his place before starting off towards the door. "Shall we Kor, or do you have more to ask me?" He smiled and waited for the Kel'Dor to join him for a walk, it would be quite simple as to where they would be going, and it would be far from the Sith and the Jedi both.

Kor shook his head as they made their way out of the door. "No questions just now."

"I think we should start now, there's no point putting it off is there. Well once we are off this planet we should start."

"Agreed, my ship should not be far from here, so we shouldn't have that much trouble getting off the planet and getting started. This is going to be hard though, i will warn you but i have faith in your abilities that you have presented me and that is something that i can't quite just forget about. So you might be a bit faster than others in learning." His smile to the Kel Dor was full and unhidden, he was interested in the man, that much was completely true.

"It will be better than my life here." Kor said as they began to leave.

"Without a challenge it would be a bit boring." Kor's fist clenched a few times as he spoke. He was excited to learn, but anxious. He wanted the power that would come with what he would learn.
