Mundane Cyberpunk Anyone?

So, I was recently talking with another member on the forums and we were both wishing we could do a lot smaller scale mundane things here on Chaos. Like.. civilian stuff. So we landed on the concept of Cyberpunk Coruscant, and how much fun we could have with some small-scale stuff from small gangs just trying to survive to street vendors, to just a bunch of civilians trying to survive after all that bombing a few weeks/months or whatever ago it was.


So, I came up with a plan, which I'll put down in the bullet points below.

• First, I want to find some likeminded people who'd be up for this sort of thing. If it ends up being me and this other guy then that's okay, and we can do it anyway.
• Next, I'd like to design this district and make it super cyberpunky. Flesh it out really well, down to street names, stores, apartments, maybe two or three local street gangs, and maybe a map if I have the time, or if I find someone who's better at making those things than me.
• Third, I'd like to set up some rules for this kind of small-scale RP. No hard core force users, no super crazy tech, lightsabers, or crazy military training like a Mandalorian, basically I want everyone to make a character FROM Coruscant's lower levels, no one particularly special. Maybe the gangs can be player run by that's not really my say. Eitherway, I'd like to flesh out these rules democratically on a Discord server or something similar.
• Fourth, start roleplaying! Get these characters together, figure out where they live on this district, jobs, livelihoods, relationships with one another, and get the party underway!

Cyberpunk is dope. And Coruscant is the perfect place for it. I had some things in the work that were more criminally oriented on Coruscant, eons ago, but I do think it's ripe for this sort of narrative.

Star Wars is so close to it as it is. Just need a tad more emphasis on neural networks and neon lights.
