Dread Guard Military Base
Fondor, Fondor System

Standing a good way from his ship, one that seemed to grow wearier with every journey, Krius Syonis stood on the orange stone below and looking out to the fort-like military barracks of the Dread Guard. Hands clasped behind his back, his small cow cut just above his hips, blew gently in the breeze of the afternoon climate. His helmet fit snugly over his head and his dark fuchsia and crimson attire made him look a curious and un-nerving figure to come up against.

Diverted from their escape from Abragado-rae, Krius and young Keziah were now on the verge of locating her twin children, sensitive to the Force, and ready to be found by a desperate and hopeful mother on Fondor.

Krius, however, was ready for a confrontation and she had brought him directly to one. With the Dread Guard Force-dead, Krius was hoping that Keziah had enough reputation and power with the barracks where her children were to get them inside without any trouble. He could deal with everything else should trouble find them, but getting through the imposing walls would be tricky. Security wasn’t too apparent as this was a barracks that was rather out of the way, serving more as support for the huge orbital shipyards looming outside of the atmosphere, but there was enough.

Looking up, he followed a few ships with his eyes that could be seen moving in and around the atmosphere above either bringing supplies to the shipyards or moving to new areas for completion. Framed by the large moon above, it was an awesome sight.

Still, that wasn’t his concern. What was his concern was getting to the twins before Keziah had the chance to. Only then would Krius be able to break the girl once and for all; destroying her spirit and completing the transition for her to stand by him against a galaxy full of monsters, cowards and liars.

Matsu. The perfect example of what a disgusting product a broken galaxy could spawn.

He bit his bottom lip to suppress the smile that was beginning to form as he waited for young Keziah to join him.

Keziah wanted to grab the twins and than get out of there as fast as she could. This place held memories of the past for her and being here wasn't a fun experience ever. It wasn't that the Dread Guard was ever mean to her, it was more that they reminded her of what she had loss. How stupid she was to fall in love and trust another with her heart and soul. She was reminded how weak she was in comparison to them. She had allowed them to take her children from her which was an event she never should have allowed to happen.

The clones also looked like her lost love which was a stab in the heart as well. Seeing his face even it was wasn't him hurt even now. Keziah of course wouldn't say such and kept all her emotions to herself.

Needless to say she was in hopes of a quick grab and leave situation here. Keziah didn't want to stay for tea or for a chat. All that she wanted from this terrible place was the children. They were the only thing that she had left in this galaxy and she would protect them with her life.

"It shouldn't be an issue to get in. The boys will welcome me back with open arms. I'm not sure how willing they will be to give me back what is mine but one step at a time," she stated as she joined him. A gentle sigh escaped her lips as she thought of what was to come.

"Let's go, the sooner we do this the sooner we can leave." Keziah plainly stated as she made her way down to security.

It wasn't long till they were stopped by a military officer whom allowed her to enter after a few calls were made to verify her identity. The officer was unsure when it came to Keziah's visitor but allowed them to pass based on her words.

"Ok, now we just need to find where they are being held. The sooner the better."[\color] She hoped that this wouldn't take long as she was stressed as it was not having them with her. Children belonged with their mother.

As she walked it was with purpose to their first destination where she hoped to get answers.

Krius fell a few steps behind Keziah, saying nothing and making only eye contact with her introduction of him. A military figure from the Outer Rim suited him fine, with connections to the family and looking to see how the Dread Guard operated.

What rubbish. He cared not for the clones or the barracks. They were as devoid of life as he had expected from something bred for war. Another fault at the hands of Non-Force users trying to create Gods. You didn't create Gods - you were BORN a God.

It was an impressive barrack, he'll give them that. Keziah moved with purpose and her voice carried confidence and strength, but her mind was open once again with the floodgates open to focus on her twins.

"I hope you see now what those cowards tried to do to you, and your children. What sort of person splits a mother from her children. It sickens me."

He noted a few stationary guards around.

"After we get to where you're taking us, regardless of what we find, I suggest we split up to cover more ground. Time is crucial, as they will now know you're here on site. We must find them Keziah."

It was time to nudge her in the opposite direction.

"I never should have allowed them to take my little ones. They are the light of my life and sure I have not been at my best but I never should have allowed this to happen." She sighed and shook her head as she continued walking towards where she knew she could get some information. There was something nagging at her though that they were no this way and they were being kept elsewhere.

If they split up they could cover more ground and perhaps he could find them while she distracted the a Dread Guard. She didn't trouble, just her children but something told her they would make trouble if she came with him. "Yes, let's split up and cover more ground. I'm going to speak with Rex and see where they may be. It's possible that they aren't even here but I sense the presence of others in the opposite direction. You could go that way?"

As she spoke she turned her head to look at him as if asking for permission or to see if he thought this was a good idea. The young woman wasn't thinking straight as of right now so she could be totally incorrect. She was at the moment nothing more than a frantic mother looking for her little ones as if they had been lost at the grocery store. All of her logic had been thrown out the window at this point.

Before Keziah could get a response she felt a hand touch her shoulder. "Keziah, what are you doing here?" The young woman turned around plastering on a smile to hug one of the Dread Guard members. "Oh, you know me Mav I couldn't stay away for long. How are you."

She hoped that Krius didn't just stand there which she chit chatted and took his own advice to split up and look for them that way. At the rate she was currently going they were going nowhere fast.

As Krius was about to speak, another jarhead appeared making grand sentiment to Keziah, actually working in his favour for now keeping her busy. He looked around and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, while speaking directly to her mind through the Force.

You must find out what you can before they endanger your children anymore now they know you’re here.

The Force could be wonderful when used to manipulate another who wasn’t thinking straight, and the mind-form would work perfectly on young Keziah, giving him the time he needed.

Stepping backwards softly with a neutral smile on his face, Krius lowered his head slightly to leave her in conversation as he turned and ambled across the site and towards the rows of barracks. High guard towers were visible at all corners of the installation, a solitary figure up inside with a huge spotlight fixed onto each.

Krius narrowed his eyes and reached out to hear the twins in the Force; their mindful thoughts thought would mean nothing, but each having their individual signature through the energy they were surrounded in thanks to having a powerful mother.

Passing a large barrack, Krius only saw figures inside with no Force signature. He didn’t stop moving steadily across towards the rear of the buildings against the perimeter wall. Passing a few Dread Guards carrying on their own business, Krius surrounded himself in a neutral Force energy with his identification as the man accompanying Keziah and radiating peace and calm. A charming smile was enough to help him carry on walking unbothered on his inspection of the barracks.

A couple of barracks over, he stopped in his tracks. A transport flew overhead low enough to kick up the dust around the area, but Krius was protected by his cowl and helmet. Placing his hands against the building he was stood by, he felt two bubbling pockets of Force energy; happy, innocent and calm. There was muted laughs and conversation coming from within.

He had found the twins with those entrusted to care for them in the Clan. It was time to reach out to Keziah once more.

Find out where your children are quickly, I can’t find them. I fear they are being drained of their gift and I need to save them because I am fearful what they will do to hurt you at your husband’s orders – remember, they don’t trust our kind and we are a danger, including your beautiful children!

Rolling his eyes, Krius exhaled and waited, eyes once more fascinated on the orbital shipyards up above.

He was right, less chit chat more getting children and than getting out of here. As much as she liked Mav she didn't want to stay here. This was her past and the only purpose of being here was to find her twins which were being kept from her here.

"Mav, would it be possible to take me to my twins. I miss them and I want to take them home. They belong with their mother," she smiled as she solemnly nodded at him. The easiest would be him taking her to them.

The clone just stared at her for a second as if he was questioning if he ought to tell her or not. "They are in the west wing but I need to go," he paused again before continuing. "It was nice seeing you."

Keziah was left to watch him wander off past her. He was acting strange and she couldn't understand why. She hadn't done anything yet but he seemed unsure of himself which as the young woman knew to not be normal. Instead of further thinking about it she just shrugged it off. There was no possible way he could be lying to her.

She was glad to see that Krius had left to go search by himself. The sooner that they found the little ones the better. Keziah didn't need anymore awkward moments with clones nor did she wish to explain herself. She shouldn't have to after all she was just here to get what they were.

The young woman couldn't sense them either which caused her stomach to turn into knots as the thought of what he had said. Would they really do that? As this thought circulated through her mind she picked up the pace.

Normally she would be one to stop and chat with everyone that they were passing by but not today. She was a mother on a mission to get her two beautiful little babies. It had been weeks since she had actually seen them. She was ready though to be the mother they deserved.

"Nothing as of yet but he said the West Wing which is a really big. I'm heading that way now." She wasn't thinking clearly at the moment which was why the Force was failing her and she couldn't sense them. What she really needed to do was calm down, take a deep breath and focus. There was no time for that. What if they were being harmed? It would be all her fault after all she let them be taken from her. None of this should have happened.

The West Wing? So that was where Krius was. No matter - now he needed to get Keziah away.

Keziah, tread carefully. I am over in the West Wing searching as best I can, but I suspect the children maybe in the East. They want you out of the way and I feel they are going to move the children off the planet. Get to the East Wing, and quick! Do NOT let anyone tell you otherwise or stop you. Your children's life depends on YOUR trust in me and the Force you hold within.

Smiling, Krius nodded and waited a moment or two longer. He felt the children inside the olive green barrack but could only imagine 2 or 3 other Dread Guards, themselves being Force Dead and not able to be identified clearly. Not waiting to hear from Keziah, Krius moved quickly around to the side door of the barrack, gripped the handle and slid the door open.

He was greeted with some chatter and the squeals of laughter from the twins, immediately spotting two large silver orbs holding each child, with 2 identical clones stood around with 1 female officer cooing and acting like an idiot with some stuffed Bantha toy. His arrival turned heads, and in that instant concern crossed their faces.

Krius raised his hands and smiled. "My name is Krius Syonis, I am here with Miss Keziah Tal'Verde."

One male clone stepped forward, hands on his blaster. "Excuse me, this is a restricted area. Please leave."

"Of course, my sincere - "

Krius didn't finish the sentence before he brought his hands sweeping down, reaching out with the Force to violently pull the clone to the ground with a thud. His face contorted into a small snarl, manipulating the Force around him in his aggression.

The other clone soldier shouted and ran, blaster ready, but Krius was ready and pulled the blaster from his hands. It twirled in the air and landed in his gloved hands. It stopped the clone in his tracks and as he reached for his com, a single shot of blaster fire swallowed up the man's head, spraying blood and bone back onto the far wall as the body fell.

A scream came from the female officer, desperately bagging away to protect the children. Krius turned to her, and without looking he applied his boot to the clone's bare neck beneath him and pushed down as hard as he could. The snap of bone was enough to signal his death.

"Now my dear, you have something that belongs to me. And I am going to take it whether you like it nor not."

The young woman, not much older than Keziah, tears streaking her face, had her back to the children, but held her arms out wide to block any threat she could.

"No! Please - these children are innocent! They are children of the Dread Guard!"

Krius's eyes narrowed. "I wasn't talking about the children. I was talking about your LIFE."

Shooting out his hand, Krius delved into the fragile mind of the human officer, her eyes wide in shock and fear, body rigid with the paralytic grip Krius had with the Force in her mind. His head bowed gently, brow furrowing as he maintained a hold of her soul, and began to tear it apart with the Force. He smiled as blood began to seep from her eye sockets, her nose and mouth. Krius clenched his fist and let the girl drop to the floor. He walked slowly over her whimpering, shaking body to the two children in the orbs.

"I will allow you watch this my dear before you die a silent, painless but horrific death that will consume your breathing, your vision and your nervous system as your brain slowly shuts down and you bleed from each organ. You can watch how insignificant you people are to the future of the galaxy I will re-shape for the better."

Krius turned to the orbs, a child to his left and a child to his right as he stood between them, not one cry emitted from their lips, but rather a curious cooing and inspection to the man dressed in vivid colouring before them.

He didn't respond to their mindless chatter. He reached down to place a hand on the chest of each child, attracting their wandering stubby fingers to grip him. Krius turned under his helmet and looked down at the broken body of the girl beside him.

"I am the future. I feel nothing, and what I want...I get."

He used the Force to apply a pressure like no-other through his palms.

Keziah put her blind trust in Krius to help her find her children. He had given her no reason whatsoever not to trust him. The man had come looking for her to do one thing, help her. He only wanted the best for her and to make her a powerful Force User something that nobody else seemed to wish to do. The man had even was willing to put up with her and her children. She couldn't ask for more from here. He was serious like a saint saving her from the darkness she had been falling into.

Heeding his words the young woman spun on her heels to head towards the east wing where she knew that many of the Force users were located. If he couldn't find them amongst the Dread Guard it was possible they would be here. They would want to keep count of Force User children and train them young.

Swinging open the door to a room she silently cursed to herself as she found that it to be empty. She had hoped for something a clue or even someone to question on their whereabouts. Keziah knew that they knew were her precious little ones were located and the fact she was alone here may help her case when she did find them. Her frantic emotions wouldn't help but she was a mother looking for her lost children so hopefully they would look that.

Closing the door she continued on her path to find her lost children. The reason they had been lost to her in the first place was that she had been too weak to care for them. Keziah had them for a little bit but than they were taken for her "own good". She felt like a terrible mother for allowing this to happen in the first place.

As she continued her search the young woman just kept getting frustrated as she was coming up empty handed each and every time. The people inside either didn't know what she was talking about or the room was empty. Keziah had even now resorted searching through the database for her babies with no luck. Just as she was continue her search on foot something hit her like a ton of bricks.

"Kruis, is everything she called out?" As she awaited an answer her heart began beating at a million miles per minute. She wasn't trained in the Force but she felt a disturbance. Somewhere something was wrong and she could only hope that it wasn't here.

Krius heard Keziah call to him.

”Patience, my dear. Patience.” He smiled to himself.

Beneath him, the lifeless bodies of the twin children lay peacefully in their orbs; not a scratch on them. However, for a desperate act of killing something you saw as a threat, it would be far from a peaceful sight.

Turning, he walked casually to the door of the barracks, opening it, once more taking a pleasurable look at the shipyards above, before turning and calling out as loud of he could to attract the attention of the Dread Guards and also Keziah.

”KEZIAH! COME…COME QUICKLY!”

The hoarse break in his voice and fear came easy to him, but it was just an act. Another wonderful ruse. Better hurry to finish his picture for the girl to see. He picked up the pace and ran back inside to the two orbs, kneeling to smear his hand in the blood on the floor from the now deceased female officer, eyes staring into nothingness.

Kirus wiped the blood down the ivory blanket of one of the children, and then down the side of the face of the other. Throwing his helmet to the ground and wiping the blood on his face and chest,he gently took the children in his arms, light as a feather, and kicked both orbs over, not caring which way or how they fell.

Kneeling down with his back to the door, he held the lifeless twins in each arm and stared ahead at the blank wall of the barrack before him. He just knelt in peace and waited.

There was no sound.

And then the door to the barrack opened with a heavy click.

Krius couldn’t help the small smile creep on his lips, before rooting himself down and picturing his dead mother in his arms when he was a younger. His eyes closed and he just thought about seeing her gunned down before him on Hapes. He needed something upsetting to make the illusion work.

”Here we go, kids. Let’s see what Mummy can do.” he whispered.

She had no patience when it came to the twins. How could she? The young mother had been away from her two little ones for far too long. They needed their mother but she took a deep breath trying to calm herself down. Keziah wouldn't be good to anyone the way she was right now. Just as she had calmed herself the young woman he screamed out to her that something had happened. She was hoping for the best but preparing for the worse case scenario which was not the death other he little ones. The thought something had happened to them never even crossed her mind.

Before anything else could be said the young woman had ran to the other side of the barracks in a flash. As she opened the door she could only sense one one Force Presence not the three she had been expecting. Eyes scanned the room which she found to be bloody all a mess. Two orbs were on the ground smashed and Krius's back was to her.

Taking a step forward to him she lightly whispered, "what happened?" As she got closer her eyes caught a glimpse of the two limp bodies in his arms. Keziah stood silent for a brief second as her mind processed what she was seeing.

Without warning she fell to her knees and uncontrollable sobs began to come from her. Tears streamed down her face as she reached out to one of the children to take her son from him. Tears fell to the ground as she lightly ran a finger along the check of her son's face.

When Keziah had learned she was pregnant she had been scared at first but than happy. She had always wanted to be a mother and now within a matter of seconds her happiness was taken from her. Reaching for the body of her daughter the tears continued to stream down her face. The young woman felt as if someone had taken her heart had stomped on it before ripping it in half. It wasn't supposed to be like this, she was supposed to raise them on a farm and live happily ever after.

As she continued to sob the ground below them began to shake along with everything else in the room. "What happened? Who did this?" She almost growled looking up to Krius with red puffy eyes. Her words were barely audible as she looked to him. Knowing what happened wouldn't change that but someone would pay. Her children would not die in vain.

The orbs shattered into a million pieces as she held the bodies close to her rocking back and forth now still sobbing. The ground beneath them was still shaking and little cracks were beginning to appear. They were her everything, the only thing that she had left. The two things she had loved the most were gone now and she was all alone. Keziah's reason for living was gone, there was nothing else. The galaxy would feel her pain.

Krius held the images of his dead mother on Hapes in his mind’s eye, forgetting Keziah and her wailing or the children being taken from his arms. There were no tears, but that wasn’t a bad thing. Don’t want to over-do it for the sake of looking like he actually cared about the children. No; he cared about Keziah’s power and what she could now do without the children dragging her down or reminding her of an utopian past.

“I never wanted this, I’m so sorry. I tried to help you all but – I’ve failed.”

He slowly knelt up and picked up his helmet, standing slowly and stepping back to give her room. A smile crept onto his face for a moment as he placed the helmet back on his scarred head, and at that point he felt it; he FELT it inside him and around the barracks. A surge of Force energy being taken from every living thing around them in the area and being drawn to them; to sweet Keziah, now on the verge of turning into a demon.

“I tried to stop them; to reason…but they – they didn’t listen or stop…I’m sorry. They – they said you’ll never have your life back.”

As he felt the room begin to shake and the ground beneath him steadily buckle under the pressure being expelled from the girls grief, anger and loss of her children, the doors once again burst open and a pocket of Dread Guards came into the room.

”What’s going on here? Miss Keziah – what’s happened?”

Krius turned and backed away slowly, ready to unleash his monster on them.

“Keziah, they’re here for you! Don’t let them take you like they took your beautiful children – I want you to be strong for me!”

The Dread Guard looked suitably concerned at the violent tremors, and that just made the thrill of killing all the more worth it as Krius felt a power radiate from Keziah he deemed unstoppable.

[member="Keziah Denko"]

Gently she set the bodies of the children down on the ground but not first without a kiss on the top of each of their forehead. "Mommy loves you," she whispered to each one of them wiping the tears from her eyes. She couldn't believe anyone would ever go so far to hurt precious little ones. They had done nothing wrong. If someone wanted a piece of her, that was the cowards way of getting it.

She could feel herself getting angrier by the second as she listened to his tale of the events which occurred. The young woman was too blinded by grief to care what anyone else had to say. They had allowed her daughter and son to die, had taken away the thing that she had loved the most.

Her tears turned to rage as those she was lead to believe entered the room and acted all confused. "You know full well what happened," she plainly stated as she gathered herself up on her feet. "You did this," she growled pointing to the bodies as she glared at them with now red eyes. If Keziah had been thinking clearly she would have just taken the bodies with her and left however she wasn't in her right mind and the little pushes by Krius only made matters worse.

A ring of fire circled those whom had entered the room as the ground began to crack open just a little. It wasn't enough for anyone to notice at first but as they sounded the alarm the cracks became bigger as the earth around them began to open.

The cries of confusion, reason and help were drowned by Keziah's only anger and devastation. If they had cared for her or her happiness, none of this would have happened and now they would pay.

Red eyes to match the hair turned to Krius. "Grab the bodies, I want to burry them." She said sharply to him. It was the least she could do for them. Give them a proper send off. "We need to go." She again plainly stated as she snapped her fingers which in turn caused the celling above them to begin crumbling.

Keziah had never shown such power in her life but grief did weird things to people, this was one of them.

Krius stood, balancing himself from the tremors vibrating in the ground, shaking the barrack as the alarm sounded outside. It felt like they were being bombed, but he knew this was all the violent energy and focus by Keziah, and it was marvellous.

Watching her minimal effort to ignite the fire around the Dread Guards, he grinned as he saw them shout in panic and try to fight the flames, all to no avail as the ground started to crumble and give way. He wanted to stay and watch them burn alive or become swallowed up by the earth below, but Keziah was in control, and her eyes burned unnaturally, making her look demonic; her voice low and fuelled with poison, her face a dangerous calm but lined with darkness and a burning glow to match her hair. Krius had created a monster.

Taking the children was the last thing he wanted, but if it would close the chapter on her life as a taker, he would play along. She needed to close the book on that part of her life and start as a giver – one who wouldn’t be reasoned with, lied to or betrayed by anyone.

Well, no-one except Krius of course. But he was working for her best interests.

He carefully stopped to cradle the children in his arms, holding them to his blood stained chest, the fuchsia jumpsuit and armour spotted with blood, dust and stone. Following Keziah who navigated the room totally in control, he quickly stepped over the cracks and cast a glance to the burning ring of flame getting higher, drowning out the screams within as the made their way out of the barracks.

”Let’s go to my ship, but be careful, they are going to want to kill you now and destroy your children’s bodies to make you suffer. Don’t let them do this to you. You owe it to them, and to yourself, to be unstoppable.”

He walked beside her, the whole barracks tremoring with every step Keziah took forward towards the exit gates. Dread Guards were around, and even in the watch-towers, their alarm and fear was now greater than ever. Krius just prayed she could take care of them without hesitation and then they could make their next stab at the heart of the corruption out there.

It was a wonder why she was even listening to him. He couldn't possibly understand the pain, emptiness that she was feeling inside. Keziah felt like tearing this whole place apart so that was exactly what she was going to do. Nothing could stop her and everything in her path was going down too. The only reason Kruis was allowed to stand by her side was because he had the bodies in his hand. She wished to give them a proper burial after she was done with this place. Once that was over she planned to start a new chapter of her life. Kruis had promised to teach her and as such she would take him up on that offer.

As she continued to walk on the earth trembled beneath her feet and the moment she left an area it began to crumble to the ground. As they made it out of the crumbling building shots immediately here heard and as she turned her head she saw that they were headed towards them. A wicked smile crossed her face as she put her hand up in front of her which caused the bullets to stop in midair and than with a flick of her hand they turned back onto the owners.

The screams of those inside and outside of the building brought a smile to the twisted woman's face. The sweet innocent Keziah had died along with her children. There was nothing left her heart, her spirit was broken and had crumbled just like the base behind her which was quite poetic.

Before leaving for good she turned to the crumbling building behind her for a brief second before turning back to exit. "Let's go, I'm bored and so over it." She stated not even turning to look to Krius as she strutted back to his ship. She had spent enough time here to get her point across. Nobody would ever take advantage of her again not even him. She had finally learned her lesson and so did he.

Lehon (Rakata Prime)
Tempered Wastes, West of the Core

Home to the Rakata species, a playground for wild Rancor and a technological graveyard, Lehon was far enough away from the hub of the galaxy to give Krius and Keziah the time needed to explore each other’s powers and aims. Krius has brought the battered scavenger ship down on the West of the planet on a large stretch of coastline. Warm blue oceans, white sand and green sweeping plains dotted with trees overlooked by the orbiting moon was made even more picturesque to Krius by the huge Hammerhead-class capital ship half buried in the water, it’s rear sticking up out of the water and covered in blaster holes and rust.

Dating back to the Jedi Civil War, spaceships littered the planet as wrecks that reminded people of the devastation war could inflict on even the farthest, prettiest planet of them all. But it simply reminded Krius that no-one, not even those hiding in metal tombs, were safe from the mighty power of the Force in the hands of someone like he, and like Keziah.

Turning to see the girl walk into the sun, carrying the bodies of her two children wrapped in cloth, she was obviously wracked with grief and sadness, but her face was stern and rigid. A mother’s resolve to quash those responsible; luckily for her, the secret Krius held was now safe.

He lowered his head a little as she walked past him out to the patch of grassland beneath two large trees blowing gently in the wind.

It may not mean much to Keziah, but Krius had swayed her to bury the children on the planet because it was far enough away to be forgotten once she had done her little ritual. The sooner they were gone and worm-food, the better. He had more he wanted to do with Keziah, and this was the final step in cutting her chain to the past.

To her face however, Krius had softly spoken that the planet was beautiful and serene, like the children and their mother, and here they would be at peace and be able to look out across the whole galaxy and be with her in spirit.

What garbage.

Krius stood still and looked out towards the mighty wreckage, letting Keziah do her duty as a mother.

The young woman was a wreak. Everything that she had known and cared for in her life was now gone within an instant. Keziah could deal with Calico moving on and leaving her but the knife in the heart was the death of her two precious little ones. She had barely even known them and now they were gone. She would never get to see them take their first steps or talk and just the thought of that devastated her.

Throughout the ride to their destination to wherever she held her lifeless little ones silently crying. She couldn't understand why anyone would do this to them but it didn't matter. They were dead now and she wouldn't let their death be in vain. She would find those whom did this and destroy them. Rise up amongst the grief and show the Galaxy what she was made of. Nobody would ever mess with her again.

The planet was peaceful and serene which was more than she could have hoped to find. Her children could rest at peace here and be safe from the horrors of the galaxy. It was the will of the galaxy that they be taken from her so young and as such she needed to respect that.

Nodding slightly to him she took her two babies over to the patch of grass under the tree. Kneeling down she dug two little graves before kissing each of her little ones before lowering a body in each one. Her eyes watered up again as she began spreading dirt on top of them. Finishing she picked a nearby flower for each grave and set it on top.

"Rest in Peace my Little Ones. Mommy loves you."

With a heavy sigh she got up and turned away from the little grave sight and back to Krius. "It's beautiful here, thank you. I'm ready to get started." She was sick of crying and wanted to do something. Crying would get her nothing.

Krius stood still, hands behind his back and turned to walk with Keziah when she came beside him on the long stretch of sand that ran around the curvature of the isle there were on, mingling with the clear blue ocean beside them.

Already to him, the children were forgotten and so much better for it. He could now focus on her, and allow her to be something wonderful.

”Do you see now what I spoke about before? How your gift has been used against you? Because you are mighty and destined for things mere mortals are not, they have taken it out on the very thing you hold dear – your children.”

He turned to look at her, letting the wash of the waves and the breeze blowing around them fill the silence for a moment. His greatest weapons were words and so he used them as best he could.

”I’ve seen people like you before Keziah. So much potential, but they can’t control the Force inside them and so become a danger to themselves and others. It pains me to see so many others out there abuse and enslave our kind to serve faceless Masters and Lords.”

Krius lifted his head and came to a stop on the point where the huge Hammerhead-class ship was half submerged in the ocean out in the distance.

”We are in control of our own destiny. We are in control of what we do, how we do it and why we do it. I will help you find those responsible for the years of lies and hurt and make them pay. Jedi, Sith, mortals – whomever. They must pay, but I want to see your strength. And in return, I will do what I can to unlock what you need. And, maybe, you could show me a thing or two.”

Smiling, he placed his hands on her shoulders and turned her gently to face the ship in the distance. He placed his mouth near her right ear and continued with a whisper.

”You can bring down star-ships without even breaking a sweat. It’s all about self-belief, self-control and confidence. If you truly allow the Force to be an extension of your body and emotion, you can do ANYTHING. You can manipulate anything and you can break anyone before they even know it.”

Pointing at the ship, Krius stepped to the side.

”Raise that ship out of the water. Imagine it full of mortals who have lied and corrupted you over the years. Destroy them.”

She was broken but still even the young woman was trying to pull herself together. She wouldn't allow those whom harmed her the satisfaction of seeing her hurt. The woman wished to rise about this and be a better person for it. This lesson that she learned today was a hard one with a terrible price. Never again would she trust governments or the different Force ideologies. They were all a load of baloney, a pack of lies which she would not believe.

"I see now how I was wrong. I only wish it didn't take those I love dying to see it."

A sigh escaped her lips as she could feel tears welling up in her eyes once again. Brushing them away she continued to listen to him. She was sick of crying.

As nice as he was Keziah could keep her distance. The last thing she wanted to do was get close to someone. Getting close to someone again was nothing she was interested in as she would only get hurt. It was her against the Galaxy and he was helping her train to be the woman she was meant to be.

"I can help you learn how to use a Lightsaber as other Force Users do. I can also teach you how to make fire as I do. You help me and I will help you."

Taking a step forward Keziah took a deep breath. She knew that she could do anything after all it was her whom had just taken down a whole military base.

Lightly closing her eyes for a moment she envisioned what she wished to happen before opening them once more. Raising her hand up, just for effect as she didn't need to, Keziah watched as the ship rose and hovered over the lake. It spun around for a few moments before beginning to slowly break apart. She could have had it explode but she wanted them to suffer slowly. Exploding would have been far too nice.

Krius stood back and smiled, watching Keziah visible relish in moving the Hammerhead, which would be no strain on her ability after seeing how she levelled the Dread Guard barracks on Fondor. If anything, this was all about pushing her ability bigger and more controlled, so she would feel she could take on anything no matter how large or protected.

If Force users hid inside starships, she could bring them crashing down; if they hid inside a Temple, she could snap the foundations and tumble it. All while Krius could watch her do his bidding.

Nodding and putting a hand on her shoulder, he spoke softly as she worked.

”They will hide behind walls and do their bidding from afar, putting all those like us in danger. You are one of a few who can turn the tide for those who control the Force, to show what REAL power is and what it can do. Those without the Force are merely flesh and bone ready to be picked apart. They are NOTHING to you, remember that. No mercy.”

Stepping deftly over a few rocks in the sand, Krius span around and used the Force to pick up a collection of smaller rocks, making them dance before him before, one by one, catapulting them into the ocean like a bullet from a gun.

”I have never held the weapon of the Jedi and Sith, I fear it would be beyond me but if you can help me understand how to wield a blade, I have no doubt it will come in handy. I would appreciate that, as well as your control of pyro – of the flames.”

He smiled, thinking about what he could do if he could command an element as destructive as that.

”Yes, I would relish that. And if you have ever wanted to break someone’s mind, I will teach you that. If you can use your gift to get inside a person’s head, inside their own private sanctuary of the mind, and then if you can rip it apart, you can destroy them.”

Watching the debris of the Hammerhead in the distance, watching the waves crash with each falling section of the ship and the loud groan of straining metal, Krius couldn’t help feel this was an awful case of deja vu.

Looking over out of the corner of his eyes to Keziah, her figure strong and a time bomb of unstable emotion, he thought about the fragility of Matsu Xiangu, and from nothing how she made progression but come so close to destroying everything with her blind view on the galaxy.

Was Keziah doomed to follow if she gained more power; more confidence?

"After everything that they have done to me, they deserve no mercy. They deserve slow deaths and suffering that is all. Your lucky to be on my good side," she half smiled at him. If she had been in a bad mood or if she didn't believe him Keziah would still be taking her rage out on him. She was hurting though he didn't need to see that.

If she were to honestly press on and not just give lip service to the notion she needed to trust someone. He seemed to be a good target for that for now. She was going to try and trust enough to see how it goes. She hoped for his own well being that he would be just as truthful.

"I think you'll be alright and it would be helpful to at least know how it works. Here," she stated tossing him her spare one "give it a whirl."

She would show him that while he showed her how to use her mind to get into others. This little thing, whatever it was called, seemed to be working out for the moment quite nicely.

"If this will work, we have to have some sort of level of trust with each other. It won't worry if we are just looking for ways to backstab each other."

Trust was a five letter word to her now as whom was there left to trust in?
