Description: Muzutsi is a wasteland of Yesmireen which houses the ruins of an old civilization whose population has since vanished from the planet. Overall, the area is desolate with a terrain similar to the dry, cracked red rock of Geonosis. The crumbling architecture of the ruins here is the only thing that would really catch one’s eye.
Points of Interests:
- Ancient Ruins - The ruins of an ancient civilization cover a large area of this otherwise desolate expanse. Scientists have credited the Taung, who have been known to have lived here at some point in the past, as the pioneers behind the structures that rise here. However, without sufficient evidence, it is impossible to really tell where it was these nomadic people that constructed this unusual architectural marvel.
Historical Information:
A blossoming civilization once stood proud in the center of these wastelands. However, whether through time or fate, these buildings have turned to mere ruins and the sprawling civilization that one was, is no more. Famine and war overcame these once proud people, driving their number down to where the vast scientific community has determined them extinct. Yet, still, a token of their once significant impact on this world remains.
Muzutsi has now become more of an archeological dig site than much of anything else now as scientists and historians continue to dig back into the past. They managed to uncover quite a number of artifacts from this site, including a full stockade of Mythosaurhttps://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mythosaur bone weapons. The most prevalent among them in the Mythosaur axe which further solidifies the notion that the Taung once prospered and flourished here. Perhaps more than anything, this site tugs so strongly with scientists because of the picture it paints of the past that will not come to be again on this planet.
