Don't really know what to say apart from the fact that I strongly disagree with the concept of shaming people. I try and treat people the way I want to be treated, which is through showing kindness to those who've earned my appreciation, to show empathy if someone is going through something difficult, and respecting/understanding what people are thinking.

WIth all that said, I simply can't respect the mentality you just showed, since it promotes a rather toxic mindset that I hope you cease with in the future. I've gotten some amazing reception from plenty of people the moment I arrived, including a guy who has put in a lot of work to make an interesting group/faction (his work inspired me to get back into writing/roleplaying in the first place) - Why would they do that? Because they treat people the way they want to be treated. Saying they can't appeal to logic, therefor you have to shame them in order to make them understand, is just not right. If you're shaming people, expect it to go both ways. That's why I hope you'll drop that mentality as soon as possible, because I can guess that you wouldn't like the idea of being shamed to a community which you are involved with on a near-daily basis.

You can do better.
Since you came into this thread I've treated you the way you've treated me: respectfully. These people don't respect me nor I them. It comes down to who is right or wrong. If they're in the wrong then their behaviour should be corrected as mine has been in the past. I have 7 warning points on this sub-account alone and all of them were done because I occasionally enjoy trolling people on this board. Metagaming and powergaming are worse than trolling. Do you disagree with that?

[member="Ella Nova"] We can discuss and agree on the shouldn't until Kingdom come, it will not change the fact that metagaming is not against the rules on Chaos. You can view the rules right here.

You can, of course, make a suggestion for it on the appropriate forum. But going on a tangent and posting threads such as this specific one will not help the case.

It should go without saying. People keep doing it. Regularly. When you don't see anything happening about something you should actively kick up a fuss and shout loudly about it until something happens because that is when something is normally done about it. You're a codex judge so talk to your fellow staff and do something about it to stop me whinging.

[member="Ella Nova"] I am a Codex Judge, not a Site Admin. Me nor my fellow CJ's can change the rules or decide to do something about things that do not occur within the codex. You can keep whinging all you want to, but even if I agreed with your way (and I don't), there is nothing I can do about it.

What me and several others have been trying to tell you - your way of making a fuss? Ineffective. It is considered madness to keep trying to do the same thing over and over gain and expect different results. Your way is not working, and will not work. A hundred and a thousand more irrelevant threads will not change the perceived situation. You're killing yourself on the wrong tree.

You're telling me you can't talk to Tefka or any other admin on Discord? lol

Being quiet and doing nothing doesn't change anything either as it is STILL HAPPENING.

This has become little more than an asinine thread. The topics are potentially important, but the execution has been severely lacking. Several staff have taken the time to respond, but the argumentative responses keep coming and the what ifs keep being given.

By far the best advice I've read (from [member="Scherezade deWinter"]) is to approach staff and express your concerns privately. Public shaming does little, especially when you're the only one crying foul.

Also, your leaps in logic aren't without flaw, so please understand doubling down on opinions doesn't make them correct.

Approach staff privately. Handle this correctly. This whole thread is not how it should be done, at least recognize that.

1. Nobody can kill your character but you. Literally a rule.

2. If your faction fails, it’s because their leadership failed them.

3. The only people I’m conspiring with lately is the Can We Get Some Peace And Quiet Up In Here Please support group.

Keep this sort of stuff to blogs, please. I don’t mind the salt but there’s people actually enjoying themselves in this forum and blogs are way easier to ignore.
