• Accessibility: While it is easily accessed by N&Z employees and authorized people, the very location of the dome makes it that unauthorised access is quite the challenge. With every openly available entry point to the Dome being guarded by N&Z Internal Security personel, while the entry points through ventilation, sewage systems and exhaust vents are electronically monitored. The dome itself is created out of a multilayered construction of Reinforced Quinta-polycarbonite lamellar compound combined with a base skeletal honeycomb structure of alloyplast and ersteel SLCA. Added to this function is the presence of the NZ Sixtus Shield system packages located around the perimeter of the dome in order to create a powerful, multilayered shield around the dome in case of a large assault either by ground or air.
• Description: Large domeshaped structure the size of a metropolis city, this massive structure dominates the surrounding wasteland and is visible from several miles away. With a surprisingly milky-white appearance with the intersectioned gray lines of the ersteel SLCA honeycomb structure, this dome is an unmistakable and typical design within the New Cov architecture and represents the height of the New Cov designing skills for civilian and military locations upon what is normally nothing but a barren and inhospitable rock.

    Located near the center of the massive domed structure, the flowing, somewhat organic-looking architecture of the NCBC subsidiary headquarters are an example of the finest New Cov architectural design and are meant to grant the idea of flow and motion, attesting to the NCBC's philosophy of always adhering to the idea of a brighter future. Made with open and light materials, it gives the headquarters of the NCBC an airy and open feeling while the harvesting fields surrounding the building are neatly sealed off with electronically guided and monitored plates of polycarbonite, allowing for visitors to see the very fields to which the NCBC owes its craft and its main product.

    Located spread out underneath the NCBC New Cov Headquarters, the biomolecule harvesting fields and thus also the NCBC research and cultivation laboratories represent the company at the height of the newest technology, with state of the art laboratories and hydroculture fields allowing for a steady supply of biomolecules and the facilities to research and alter this product to the needs of the engineering departments working close with the NCBC.

    The spaceport which gathers the material and supplies for the domed facilities from interplanetary transport and aerial deliveries is located in a seperate pod/dome outside of the main domed structure, though it has the same overall defensive structures and ammenities, it also boasts a large communication hub and has underground connections to the main dome by means of multiple maglev rail systems which allow for a steady import and export of goods within the domes facilities. Operated mainly by N&Z STS, this transport hub is a crucial factor in the efficiency of the domed facilities.

    The underground network of maglev trains allows for the speedy tranfer of goods from and to the aforementioned STS terminal, with additional plans in place to allow for further connectivity via these underground corridors with other domed facilities and cities on New Cov. These maglev trains are also used to ferry authorized personel in between the STS terminal and the domed facilities.

    The industrial facilities that have been built within the domed structure are under the auspices of the N&Z Engineering Solutions division, promoting a healthy cooperation between the two present N&Z divisions in order to improve synergy and thus also internal quality control. Being the newest and most modernly high tech facilities as to date for the N&Z EnSol division, it boasts state of the art energy management, safety and security meassures that lower the risk of accidents and incidents to a minimum while also providing ample space and additional offices to handle both the engineering, and the logistical part of the work within these facilities. These facilities also include several large storage silos for materials and products, testing ranges and testing facilities and several large and small workshops depending on the nature of the engineering.

    Any selfsufficient domed city would need a properly functional and waste neutral power plant, as such it was decided during the design to utilize the same layout and mockup as the PF-One power plant and fuel refinery station on Erinar, allowing for the Domed structure to operate under maximum capacity and with little to no issue in terms of power supply or fuel necessities.

• N&Z SD Internal Security Subdivision
  • As with all assets directly under N&Z control, the Domed facilities housing NCBC and EnSol facilities and offices are protected by regiments of the internal security division. Highly trained personel drawn directly from multiple military academies, contractors and more are thus relied upon for point to point security and outfitted with the best the N&Z has to offer in terms of weaponry and protection.
• Droid defenses
  • NZ ZMDII-AW Assault Walker "Pluto Type" while generally seen as an older and somewhat antiquated model, two dozen of these have been arranged in storage to combat larger threats to the safety of the domed facilities, allowing for ample destructive response to those who would do the domed facilities any harm.
  • ZMDIII- GPD type C 'Ceres' General Purpose Droid Meant as the lightweight backbone of the droid defenses and security within the massive domed compound, these droids are set up in various units cooperating with the N&Z Internal Security units and adding some proper defense and safety meassure during security breaches or emergency situations.
  • ZMDIII Type QB/L "Queen Bee" These are strategically stored in several key locations within the domed facilities, allowing them to be activated during emergencies and allowing for a large scale defense of the facilities, especially used for aerial threats.

  • ATHENA DCOS-1L [DIrect Central Operating System] The Athena DCOS-1L is the heart of the Domed facility's security system and operations, maintaining most, if not all of the main functions of the dome in an automatic state (though there are enough override maneuvers and locations to backup the systems manually and perform/input the tasks manually should the operating AI be compromised.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The construction of the Domed N&Z Facilities on New Civ started relatively recently, when the agreement had come to pass that Liin Terallo and Tertius C. Nargath would form a partnership and eventually a full on merger of assets between the NCBC and the N&Z Umbrella Corporation. Thanks to the recent developments in building and contruction techniques for the N&Z laborforces on Erinar firstly with the build of power plants and fuel refineries, the domed facilities on New Cov; now christened as the N&Z New Cov Liitius Facility enjoyed the efficiency of this now highly experienced laborforce. The rapid excavation for the foundation was done by the USCM; a division of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation with expertise in mining operations, while the N&Z STS, the transport and shipping division of the N&Z Umbrella corporation handled the logistics for material and personel transport off world.

The work of Liin Terallo, now in the newly created position as Director of the N&Z Laboratories division could not be understated either. Because of her previous experience as de facto political and corporate leader of New Cov, she managed to get the corporate council on her side during the careful reshuffling of the planet's political identity, managing the seperation of the New Cov corporate sector and he New Cov Political sphere. Because of this expertise brought forth by lady Terallo, any building permits, contracting and bureaucratic obstructions were quickly either granted or swiped off of the table in order to allow a very fast and smooth trajectory between the actual designing of the facility, the meassuring of the lay out and the actual building process.

Utilizing the foundations of an old out colony of Illic city, the new domed facilities also managed to incorporate a smaller dome which would house the terminal to which and from which goods could be transported both on and off world.

The completion of the inner section of the dome and the internal facilities was already well under way during the inauguration of New Cov's first fully political Prime Minister Nora Laan , already allowing for the operations within the domed city to start, while the outer dome would need a further month to be fully erected and operational, granting the Liitius Facility the protection and security it needs to stand against the test of time on the otherwise harsh planetary environment of New Cov.

As is the case with a massive industrial facility such as the Liitius Dome, most workers and such have standard living arrangements and quarters within certain sections of the large domed facilities, though for guests and other personel there is also a high speed connection and shuttle service from the STS terminal to the other domes on New Cov in order to allow for the pool of laborers, technicians, etc to be able to come from practically all over New Cov and beyond.
