OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a organization lay out for one of the N&Z Security division's subdivisions. In this case The Security Services, which in its basic operations isn't much different from the N&Z Internal Security Subdivision, but simply changes their targets from internal security of N&Z owned assets to being security for hire, allowing other companies or organizations to benefit from the N&Z Security Division's highly trained and well-equipped assets.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: N&Z Security Division, Security Services
  • Classification: Professional Security Organization
  • Affiliation:
  • Organization Symbol:
    q4EI5wf.png
  • Description: The N&Z Security Division's 'Security Services' are meant to be the middle ground of the Security division's operations, acting as a security firm that can be hired for the protection of assets and people unrelated to the N&Z (though it is to be expected that those requesting their services are more likely than not going to be tied to the N&Z in one way or another). The Security Services as a whole are thus in essence the external version compared to the Internal Security Subdivision.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Eriadu
  • Domain: The N&Z Security Services generally overlaps with the Internal Security Subdivision in terms of its headquarters and offices, also having most of its members that are not on duty allocated to the locations below which represent the Security Division barracks and training facilities. However, when it comes to their operational area, it is entirely different, as they can operate in any sector or system depending on their contractors and those who hired their services.
  • Notable Assets:
    • Imperial Academy on Eriadu While not directly owned by the Division, they do have a handful of instructors and recruiters at the academy to make sure the yearly quota of new recruits is fullfilled.
    • N&Z Research and Development Center as the main corporation's headquarters, this massive industrial, petrochemical and biochemical complex also houses the main offices of the N&Z Security Forces and part of the terrain is thus for the use and exploitation of the division.
    • NZ Deinon Class Hypergate space station Located near Velusia and Chandaar, these two stations hold importance to the N&Z Security Services, while they do not have a massive presence at these locations like the Internal Security, these stations are the gateway for the N&Z into the Galactic Alliance and the Empire of the Lost and thus have a small office in each to represent and aid the nearby active cells of the Security Services in their duties and operations.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy:
    • The command structure is as followed:
      • N&Z SubDivision Commander, in command of the entirety of the N&Z Security Services, usually only takes orders from the overarching N&Z Security Division or those even higher up the corporate scale.
      • Section Commander: Overseers of a multitude of assets, they are the essential assistants to the Subdivision Commander and will in turn be more likely to perform logistical roles such as planning the security set ups, inspections and acting as the liaison between the Subdivision Commander and the Section chiefs. These section commanders generally oversee all the projects and duties of their cells and units over an entire sector.
      • SubSection Commander: Overseer of a single asset protection, they are in charge of a localized cell of N&Z Security services. This can be a single unit or several units depending on the range of the SubSection Commander's command. This can range from just a city to a star system. A section chief reports directly to the overseers of the sector in which their duties have them bound; the Section Commanders.
      • Cell Chief: Overseer of a single cell of units, this rank is somewhat fluent as usually the SubSection Commander would be in command of a single cell, but when they happen to have a much larger territory with more than regular numbers of units, they can opt to appoint a Cell commander for the sake of alleviating the pressure and improving direct oversight.
      • Unit Chief: These are in charge of a single unit of N&Z Security Personel, usually dealing with only one objective or asset. Unit chief's arrange the 'on the ground' inspections, organization of the unit and deal with the bureaucratic and administrative processes within the unit and report to the ranks above them.
      • Unit Member: Standard member rank of the N&Z Security Personel, these are the actual men and women who are on the ground and doing their duty, whether it be asset protection or bodyguard duty, etc.
  • Membership: The N&Z Security Services is the smallest of the Three subdivisions of the Overarching N&Z Security Division and as such currently only counts about 20,000 members, trainees would not be counted to these numbers as they have to run through Internal Security first before being granted the status to operate out of N&Z jurisdiction. This number does however include support personel who cover logistics and administrative tasks, covering about a quarter of the subdivision's members.
  • Climate: The N&Z Security Services subdivision, while it adhere's to the strict military code engrained within Eriaduan society, can be considered a moderately open and free subdivision within the N&Z Security division. With decent benefits, regularized paid vacations, more than decent wages and bonuses based on working hours, working hazard, etc. The N&Z Security Services Subdivision is a good place to work for anyone with the intent to have a secure job and protect people who would need protection and assurances.
  • Reputation: The Security Services subdivision is somewhat of the middle child in reputation; better known than the Internal Security, but not as open and visually stunning as the more militaristic mercenary department run by the Security Division. However, in their field, the Security Services Subdivision does have a well-deserved reputation as being a professional group that upholds high standards and performs with logic and strategic thinking as their starting point, excelling in sweeping places and locations and prepping them.
  • Curios: Not persay, though many of them do earn a distinctive Ersteel plate with their name and rank for each promotion baring the company and division logo. These plaques and plates are generally quite coveted among the members and carefully maintained and often proudly displayed in their bunks, barracks or homes.
  • Rules: The strict Military Code of Eriadu is the basic philosophy upon which the entire N&Z Security Division operates. Meaning that their conduct and operational strength and coordination can be compared to most professional militaries in the galaxy, this also includes the rules they follow being those of a standard army with a great deal of selfrespect: Orders must be followed, commands that are considered outrageous can be challenged if the challenger can accept the ramifications if their own choice proves to have negative consequences, etc...
  • Goals: To expand their clientele and gain greater recognition among their peers. Due to being the middle ground between straight up military mercenaries and the internal security, they usually do feel a bit left out, but luckily there is a bonus with being the middle ground: as those who want to return to internal security can do so and those who want to excell in their craft could see this subdivision as a good place to either move up or start working for themselves.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Security Services subdivision technically grew out of the Internal Security subdivision, as they were essentially those who had been hired from the old N&Z security by others or had part of their origin in the fact that the old N&Z Security did act as a sort of police force on places like Schesa and even to this day have a heavy presence there due to the industrial importance the planet holds to the N&Z. However, the subdivision itself essentially finds its roots in the rationale that was brought forth by the new N&Z Security Division, as it had the clear goal of seperating the three branches in which they could operate. The second of these branches being the Security Services would thus be appointed as the part of the Security Division that would continue their work on other planets and act more as security for hire rather than Internal Security, but also not on the same level as the Defense Security Force, which is essentially the heaviest of the three branches.

Because this division is in essence rather new, despite having the same roots as the other subdivisions, there is little to no actual historic information on them. However, where they have only recently started off as a seperate division, there is already quite a promising future for them with the N&Z's aggressive expansion.

This is a pretty decent submission. There is just one glaring problem here. The sections on Geographical Information and Social Information, are a copy and past from this which I just approved. That pretty much makes them the same submission and has me wondering why you did not just include this with the other.

If you would like this to be a unique submission to the other, I would ask you re-work these sections and make them truly unique. If you do not wish to do that, then I would suggest modifying the one previously approved to work for both.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed with the options provided.

Thanks!

They are the same because they all operate within the same division... I originally also thought to combine these two and only do the defense force seperate...but let's just say that I sort of thought it better to keep them seperated so even though they look the same and are just eachother's reverse, it would show through the fact that they have seperate codex entries that they are still seperate subdivisions and that a person from one division technically has no command over a person from the other unless the division director or above have a say in it...hope that makes sense.

I noticed that the parts you mentioned I had mistakenly left unchanged...my apologies for that.

I made some tweaks in domain, membership and a bit of a clean up in the hierarchy that still mentioned the IS. I will indeed also be subbing units soon, though those will further enhance the differences between the Internal Security subdivision and the Security Services in terms of utilized weaponry and outfit. Hope this helps...
