Let's first of all run through the requested detailing, specifications and adjustments to your vessel:
To enlarge the ship, it will fall outside its cruiser classification and become a Destroyer class vessel, which will require extreme reengineering of the structure and hull. Which in turn would make reengineering the ship a more costly endeavour compared to utilizing one of our Tiber-I or Tiber-II superstructures in order to build a larger, yet similar design to your Kathhound vessel. It will also allow you to install much more potent engines and reactors. Should you be willing to take this route rather than simply reengineering your vessel, we are happy to oblige.
As for the requested permissions for the UTA
- Bloodhound Magnetic Targeting. this request can be approved, and you have permission for use in specified vessels, though we do not license out our most prestigious technology.
- A perpetual contract for the use of DSI rounds is very much approved.
- A Perpetual contract for the use of our weapon systems up to and including Limited Production can be arranged.
- A contract to use, license and sell the collapsible plasma axe is approved.
- A contract for useage and selling of Ersteel 145 alloy is approved with the mentioned exchange rate as deemed acceptible.

Hello Tertius,
Thank you for your patience. Indeed, it's a large order - certainly, it is the biggest single order that UTA has ever made.
We will immediately begin listing the perpetual contract items in our store.
With respect to the ship, I realize how much is being asked of N&Z. It's a massive change. I have a soft spot for the Kathhound: it is a memento from my father. The United Industrial engineers tell me that the Kathhound has been so badly damaged by
our exit out of Asation that we will not be able to get it to you on New Cov - even for basic repairs. The Kathhound will be grounded on Dantooine - and until it is fixed, it cannot be re-outfitted. The UI engineers can usually fix anything, but they're stumped on this one.
I agree with you: it is time to commission a brand-new ship. Though it pains me, we have outgrown our humble frigates.
Let's use the
Tiber I superstructure. This gives us extra craft length, beyond what I am used to in the Kathhound. We can then add the armaments and the TAB Droid assembly module before we hit the Trade Federation's "classification ceiling". I believe that it is not about size, but about how you fly it.
Stick as many armaments as you can on it, because this ship is finally going on mining expeditions. I have a feeling it will be heavy and slow, but that's fine for our purposes. Me and Grenz travel at a crawl beside those
mining barges: just about anything beats that 1.0 hyperdrive, and 9.0 backup.
We will call this new ship, "
Brother Bear".
What do you think?
