Name A Writing Quality That You Wish You Had

For me, it's by far more confidence in my writing.

I'm never satisfied with what happens when I put pen to paper. It's caused me to stop so many times and stare hard at the finished product. Well, finished is a relative term. I judge myself so harshly that I can rarely "finish" in the true sense. Perfectionism is great sometimes, but it's a real bummer when you want to be any kind of author.

I've always enjoyed creativity and loved to play with the language, but none of that matters if you personally don't feel like you're doing a good job.

I wish I could world build.

When I come up with a story, I see it in dialogue and actions. I see the characters acting out my ideas, but I struggle to work outward. Creating species, languages, religions, countries, governments, etc. is difficult for me. I also have a tough time figuring out how each individual story fits into the bigger narrative. I can tell a decent stand-alone story, but I want to get better at the big picture.
