I've started a thread in the Open Roleplaying area for an IC training event for pilots and naval officers. If people are interested in joining, we can coordinate it in this thread. Otherwise, the thread will serve as a basic establishment of Gir's character in the Navy.

If you don't mind I would like to have Torill learn to pilot as part of his well rounded concept to be effective in future Dominions/Invasions.

That being said if their are no objections I would like to bring him into some more of the training based Naval threads you guys do under the umbrella of being a Reserve Naval LT. He would not appear in any capacity of the chain of Command for the Navy or hold in true command authority.

You mentioned raiding Origin's Hammer. I can have Taran running an escort patrol or for that, or something like that.

Immediately nothing as somebody would have to actually teach him to fly. I was thinking maybe anything that has two seats so he could be in the back learning has they go if need be.

After that I guess it would depend on what is available based on mission needs.

No specific requisites, though I'd prefer it if we stay relatively small scale for starters (for KISS's sake). If you want to bring in a particular ship, let us know now so can make it relatively even-sided between the ambushers and the defenders.

Same thing. Any particular ship you want to be on? I was thinking of the Origin's Hammer to be a Rendili Hammerhead frigate, but if you 'd like to make it something else similar size, that'd be fine too.

I'd be happy with a pair of Hammerheads. However that fits in to things.

That works for me. If [member="Camellia Swift"] is still planning on her long range ships, it'll make more sense for the two of us to work together attacking the convoy, with Camellia defending it.

However, alternatively, we could all work on the same side to attack the convoy, if people would prefer that.

[member="Torill Holgor"], feel free to show up on whichever ship you'd like. You're more than welcome to pop up in Gir's ship, in the Crescent Light's lounge.

So what option would people like to do? Working on the same side or a little friendly competition?
