Anora Vahn
This Is How We Rise Up
To say things were…terse between the Vahn sisters was an understatement. While at one time the pair were close as could be – even if they weren’t attached at the hip – that had all more or less come undone over the past couple of months. The pair could not see eye to eye for much of anything anymore, even every day mundane things. Most conversations became arguments and ended with one sister stomping off away from the other one, only to start right back again when the pair came in contact again. It had even gotten to a point where Eenia had requested from their Master that the pair of them not be trained at the same time unless there was no choice in the matter.
And why? Because of little sister’s new best friend.
A fact which made Anora beyond frustrated with her sister. She had known all of Eenia’s life that the younger girl was naïve, but really did she have to flaunt it so idiotically? Yes, sure. Anora could give credit to the fact that Kahlil was doing everything he was told, doing all of the right training, and whatever. That did not change who he was, the danger that came associated with him, or from associating with him for that matter. And yet Eenia didn’t seem to care a wit. She pranced along, side by side with him as if there was no care in the world between them. Which infuriated Anora to no end.
Which was why the pair of sisters were currently occupying one of the training rooms. If she couldn’t get the message through her sister’s thick skull with words, then damn it she was going to beat it into her.
It was an unfair advantage, and Anora knew it. The training sabers may only sting when they came in contact with skin, but by the time she was done? Eenia was going to wince every time she heard a damn saber ignite. She knew her little sister didn’t have the same finesse that Anora did when it came to the more physical side of their training, but at this point, she didn’t care. She had issued the challenge, and Eenia had accepted it – probably with the hope that Anora would finally listen to her ramblings. That hadn’t been the case at all.
Once again training sabers clashed and Anora was pulled from her reverie. Her weight shifted to the side, her intention to make Eenia over compensate and stumble forward, but the blonde sister’s gaze hardened and she shifted as well. Again the sabers clashed, this time in an array of blows before they locked together. There was almost something sinister that washed over Eenia’s face, and Anora recognized it too late.
The brunette sister felt the blow against her before she had even seen her little sister move one of her hands. The sheer power before that Force push knocked Anora back and sent her skidding, but she effortlessly got back to her feet. The first step she tried to take forward however got a practice dummy throw across the room at her. It was dodged, but clearly Eenia was done playing this game on Anora’s terms, and it was the younger sister’s turn to hold the advantage.
