New guy to this part of galaxy

Hello Everyone!

First I'd like to just say how ecstatic I am to have found this site; and how much I'm looking forward to RPing with all of you.


A few things about me... I'm from the US. I love reading/Writing as well as video games. I've rp'd in a couple of different universes but found pathfinder the most enjoyable.I prefer the original trilogy over the newer one. I love both KOTOR 1 & 2 as well as SW battlefront 1 & 2. I wish they had done more games in the style of republic commando and Jedi academy. I've read some of the expanded universe books.

I used to RP on the SWTOR website a few years ago but stopped until now do to what seems to be called the "infamous purge" haha. That took a lot out of me to say the least.

So long story short I'm super excited to start up again.

PS. I've been through some the threads but any advise on where/how to get started would be much appreciated haha.

Welcome. The best way to getting started is find your niche, those who role-play in a similar setting as yourself, or those who could throw a unique twist into the works, and invite them to role-play. It's easier for me as a bounty hunter, I find a target, do some research and hop into a public thread to start my tracking.

Out of curiosity, what type of character are you aiming for?

Um you should go to the character creation thread right below this one and start creating your person this does not have to be approved but I would take your time and make it count then if you have a lightsaber you will need to go to the factory and submit it under technology this does need to be approved

Well admittedly I have two characters in mind. One would be a force sensitive that gets trained by either a dark jedi or sith. Maybe a rogue jedi depending on things.

The second character i had in mind would be a soldier that would go gun for hire and eventually mercenary.

I would probably start RPing as one of them for a while so i could get back into the swing of things.

That is incorrect. Submitting anything to the Factory (or the Codex, for that matter) is not required. Most people don't submit their lightsabers to the Factory (for example, I certainly haven't!), and there's absolutely nothing in the rules saying that they must do so - really, it's a matter of individual preference from those that do submit them, rather than any sort of requirement.

With that said... welcome to Chaos, Garivald. I do hope you enjoy your time here with us!

Nice to meet another survivor I had a medic that traveled around with a mercenary group. I also had a republic agent that was on an undercover mission in imperial territory with some others. I recall having an acolyte I had just started playing as at a Sith Academy before the wipe.

So I'm sure I did something wrong when I created my character in the creation section. I named him Garivald like me but it won't let me link the bio to my profile?
