That is correct! Once the Ysalimir are installed, any Force-sensitive who is not specifically part of an order (Jedi, Sith, etc.) can hold a seat in the Senate. Those who are part of an order can sit on the newly-established Council.

I'm waiting for my thread with Ferus to progress further before Kay goes to chat with Jack. And as one Senator has already been assassinated, trying to get her position back might not be something that she'd want to get into right away
