Question:

Are there any exceptions to Rule 3?

Perhaps for a title change within a time less than 30 days you must write a detailed paragraph explaining why the change needs to be made so suddenly? Oh, and don't give them a template so they can't make up fluff

The reason why I ask this is because, lets say for instance, a new Jedi Master makes a full 180 turn and turns into a Sith, and had been toying with the idea but had never seriously considered it until just then. Maybe the sudden reason behind the change was because they were finally won over OOC because the Sith Empire has brownies/cookies/pie/whatever-grandma-made. Now they have to wait a few weeks before they can change the tag, and it could be confusing to those not paying attention to who the person is.

Then again, this may be staffs way of deterring sudden story altering changes like so.

It is entirely up to the admin whether or not to grant the title at the time.

Titles which are frivolous or not deserved will not be given, and if excessive amounts of promotion and faction changes are observed that writer will have their tags removed and not able to change them for 30 days.

Likewise, if someone has a good reason we will grant changes outside of the 30 days. It's all give and take.

We are pretty free and easy here, but abusing our trust is a one way ticket to hurtville.

Is there going to be a lock in place on posting in the tag request like in the factory? After 30 days you can post in there again or is it just try to remember and keep track of how long it has been?
