You can actually search these open Role Play boards to find a thread to jump into or you could present an idea of your own. something you would like to do and if folks are interested they will contact you like this.
Or maybe this is your cup of tea...


Another route to go is find a faction that suits your character. Many stories are connected to factions somehow but which faction suits your character is often hard to tell without knowing more of your character.
