New Toys New fun

Vortex smiled as she said "I got all the time I need, I'll have to give it a try sometime to see if I can use it. Who know maybe I'll be able to that be awesome. That would give me a whole new set of skills to use." As she was being told it wasn't a problem that she scratched up the area she looked back over at her unsure why she hasn't asked what she is. It might be her but most people would have by now but she wasn't going to push it is she didn't need to. "So where do you stand between all this light side and dark side?" She said as her eyes start to have a pink tint to them.

"I stand as a jedi master, one of the few at least who has stayed this way. Most from when I was given the title have turned to the darkside and abandoned their paths. I stayed and used their failures as reason to strengthen my resolve." She said it while standing there and going to the other machines that would be giving them the pieces and information they needed to work on this. To get all fo the data so it could properly fit and size up the armor when they were working on some parts of it. Using the bodyglove that Sasori had developed with duraplast plating so that it had protection. The pieces of equipment going with it and she was assembling it there in the lab with the parts.

Vortex was kind of shocked that a jedi would help her. She didn't know if she should be more scared or impressed. But she didn't need to worry about that right now. Right now her suit was being made and that's all that mattered. Vortex followed her offering to help her in anyway. "It's sad to hear people have fallen from their path to another one of which they fought to keep at bay." Once vortex helped her collect the item she needed and sat them on the table for her. She switched back into her cloths thinking that's all she needed from her with it. "So tell me what happens when you cross paths with someone who has turned to the darks side? Do you fight them and kill them or do you try and reason with them sense they were once with the light side?"

Hmm an interesting question, in truth she had only met one or two and they had been strange. Mostly going from confident and able to suddenly they needed her to affirm that they were stronger. "Ehhh it was different where they had once stood able to do things... suddenly they needed me to tell them that they had become better, faster and stronger. No longer did they seem to be able to judge their own self worth." She said it while working on the armor and her hands were moving unconsciously so that she was weaving it in place and setting up all of the areas for herself. The look and feel something that would be able to work for the woman. "It might not be the easy but finding a path and sticking to it for as long as you can is one of the most important things. I can't claim or say I am the most ideal but I use every failure, every stumble as a chance to strengthen my resolve and each lesson has been done with sweat, blood and tears. Others who can be easily swayed and taken away from their path or their ideals usually will always be searching for something else."

Vortex was impressed she stayed her path while everyone else fell from theirs. She knew that she could never dedicate her entire time and energy to the light side with out driving her self insane. She now had a new level of respect for her. Vortex then sat down watching the jedi as she was creating her new armor. As she sat there she lightly skimming the bottom of her arm reminding her that there was a past of filled of the dark creatures that lurked around her every time she felt hungry. Vortex looked down at her arm trying to remember what she did to get them carved into her but failed to remember then looked up at the jedi. "If someone has done things in their past that they regret would the jedi still take them in?"

A curious question but Matsu spoke as she was working and going by the measurements from the girl in all of the moments. "Yes they would, the jedi are not above punishment but they are big on forgieveness and providing a person a chance to atone for their past actions instead of just sending them to death or putting them somewhere they will only continue to learn new ways to do bad things. Others do not try that but it is their compassion and respect for life that allows the jedi to do things." Even for the really bad things but ti is an important thing to note the difference. She had seen people who killed for fun treated with more respect then those who only killed in the heat of battle or war. There was a point you had to look at things. "Why do you ask?"

Vortex tried to show a smile as she looked down at her arm. "It's a personal question." She let out a deep breath before saying. "My past seems like it's been a more then reputable one. The more I try to remember the more I forget." She looked up at the jedi as she rolled her sleeve up showing her arm to her. It revealed marking carved into her. Some of the symbols were Witch craft, murderer, cannibal, vampire. "No mater what I do the past catches up to me and I have to do to survive... And most time they won't stop hunting me until I'm dead or they are." Vortex took another deep breath. "Some time it's just to hard to keep going, To know that one day you'll have to repeat it over again." Vortex was trying not to let her emotions bet the better of her but she had it pent up for so long it was getting uncontrollable.

Matsu looked at her with a small look on her face while she moved over to get a better look at her while the machines were making the armor still. She stood next to her and offered an arm if she wanted something to lean on. It wasn't really something she knew but at times you just needed to lean on someone. Plus well while she had plenty of scars the jedi masters scars and tattoo's were covered by her robes. Harder for all of them to be seen until she spoke. "That is something that can happen, in the end you can only run so long." She waited a moment. "But it also depends on what you want to do, what you want to become in the end. If you want the jedi can try and help you but it isn't something light and it isn't something I would recommend doing for just a time. THe jedi path is something that can take a lifetime."
