Description: Shawn is making the armor so it would protect him from attacks of lightsabers and give himself general protection. the gloves are finger less so his claws can slide out between his knuckles with ease. The gloves and boots have Frictiongrip allowing him to stick to smooth surfaces or sheer wall/cliffs His armor is not so resistant to Blasters and slugthrowers. The helmet is collapsible allowing easy carrying. and with out the hassle of taking the helmet on an off constantly. HUD systems consists of Heat vision, distance analyzer, mapping systems and comlink system.

Okay so I have a few things, I'm not a fan of the songsteel. Canonically songsteel is super rare and you have an entire chest piece and helm made of it. Laminanium is also only mentioned canonically once on armor (Force Heretic II Refugee) and mentioned a bunch on the same model droids. Because of this I have an issue accepting it as part of armor. Additionally I have an issue mixing the two together in a suit of armor since both are rare, powerful, and super resistant.

Okay I understand about how rare the materials are. I was planing on having some help in making this armor because of how rare the materials are. In as such For my character I need light yet durable armor. Shawns fighting style is all hand to hand combat. So he will need durable armor to protect him. I have looked up other light materials for the armor that would be just or almost as durable. SO far I have not found any. I did look at Phrik but that is even more rare than Songsteel, So phrik is not even possible.

I would like to use the laminanium that way it is easy for me to repair the armor. Shawn will be in alot of fights where his armor may be broken or damaged and so I would like an easy fix for the armor. Thats why I have it for most of the arms and legs, because they will be the pieces of armor that are more likely to break.

I am not so well versed in the different materials that are in Starwars. If you have any other ideas on what I could use, I need all the help I can get.

One more thing, what are you using friction grip for?

Its an adhesive material that allows the user to stick to walls. Nexu are known to climb things so to make my character more Nexu-like I gave him the Friction grip. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/FrictionGrip
