*eyes flare with hatred* The Jedi are as pompous and idiotic as children. The only true strength in passion is the passion to gain power. Other passions weaken the senses, make you vulnerable. The Jedi are foolish to believe that all passion is weakness. But the passion of love is one I do not need.

Is there no power in owning someone completely and without fault? Have you ever felt love? To dismiss something without first knowing it is a large weakness indeed.

*continues staring* Throughout my existence, I have witnessed what love can do. It can tear a being to shreds from the inside out, make them blind and confused. I have used the loves of my enemies to make them truly suffer. They would watch as the possessors of their love died a slow painful death by my hand. When they knew that they could not kill me out of revenge, they finally begged me to end them so that they did not have to live with their pain. So, to answer your question. Yes, I have seen the pain of Love. And no, I do not wish to experience it.

You have seen then one half of Love, the pain. For Sith that is a powerful force indeed. Yet if there is one half of love there must be another, one that you have not seen and it is far more powerful than the first. What else would make being willingly seek out pain.

I thought the Jedi did not approve of passion because it was a detraction from their duty that could lead to the dark side overcoming them...? (or maybe duty isn't the right word. Path?)
Saying they believe all passion is weakness is like saying angels believe that all benevolence is folly.
