Public Night out like a Mando

Isabeau smirked as she listened to Zephyr defend himself, squirming in his attempt to come off as less of a jerk. She would not respond, however, as she was well on her way to go fetch Kragr already. Of course, pulling him didn't work and pushing didn't do much either "No pushing? You'd prefer a kick instead?" she joked whilst assuming another position to push with her shoulder instead. Finally, the red-headed Mandalorian managed to grab his drink and with that, he seemed to relent and allow himself to be pushed over towards the white armour's table.

Returning to the table she gave Rhion a nod and responded with a flat "Isabeau" before pointing to her friend "and that's Kragr" She looked at the peacemaker with a skeptical eye as he suggested yet another drink, despite her being rather affected already. But then, would she really say no to free drinks? "No self-respecting lass would say no to that, would they?" she asked, sarcasm dripping from her words as she shot a venomous look at Zephyr. A nod and a slight smile were sent to Rhion before the drink was downed and a satisfied sigh could be heard from her.

Remaining quiet for a bit, listening to what the others had to say about jobs, Isabeau finally spoke, sending a nod at Kragr as she spoke "Well, he recently brought me along on a job, but really, I try to lay my hands on any job I can get now" Upon finishing her sentence, Isabeau turned to look at Zephyr, interested in the prospect of a job involving the killing of Imperials. Maybe it would be something to inquire about further if they seemed to get along somewhat better than they had so far. At least he didn't fear putting up a fight.

Leaning back in the couch, Isabeau gazed up at the ceiling for a bit whilst letting the alcohol course through her system. Finally returning, she looked to Rhion "What about you then?" Pointing a finger at Zephyr, she let out a casual "He can fight" and continued pointing at Kragr "And he can definitely fight. So what about you? Do you do anything more exciting than treating people to drinks or have the contractors' demands gotten too crazy for you?"

Naturally, she noticed that Zephyr had decided to treat himself and Rhion to another drink, clearly signalling that she and Kragr was on their own. For her part, it was probably for the best - seeing as she could probably use some time recovering from her recent most drinking. But her recently arrived companion who was currently her best safeguard against both the yellow-armoured cat caller and the knight of self-respect might be craving for more. With that, she called for two more drinks and pushed one of them to Kragr. After taking a swig from her own glass, Isabeau decided that it might truly be a bad idea to continue and set it back down on the table again, contently leaning back against the couch.

Rhion eyed the red haired Mandalorian as he sat down, temporarily distracting him from his conversation with the purple Mandalorian. Luckily, he caught the last bit of the man's explanation.

"It wouldn't be the first time an Alor would cause infighting." He nonchalantly commented, aware of how divided their people were throughout the galaxy. Personally, he really did blame the Alors for his people's misfortune. For their poor leadership, rash and or bad decisions, and their bickering.

Rhion would nod his head to the others as they introduced themselves. The young woman likely had less experience than the other two, as she explained she had 'been brought along' on a job by Kragr. The man struck him as a brute, but definitely not the kind of pushover he was used to.

The Mandalorian's brow furrowed. "Really?" His blazing blue eyes studied the red-haired giant for a moment. "That's a shame. You would've made a good hunter." He concluded, before downing the drink provided by Zephyr, who grabbed his attention shortly after. "Imperials? Sounds like a dangerous game you're playing. The Empire makes a point of hunting down the individuals who interfere in its business." He had lost count of how many of his acquaintances were crushed by the Imperial war machine. All of them overly confident that they stood a chance against the relentless and skilled stormtroopers.

What came next made his smile fade. A muscle in his now clenched jaw twitched, as his eyes bored into the young blonde seated at his table. He would have shrugged her comment off, should he not have been a couple of drinks in. But at this moment, her rude question felt like an insult. And he did not take kindly to insults. "Because I felt generous and decided to play the role of peacemaker this once, you question my skills as a hunter and fighter?" His pupils flared as he spoke, before he urged himself to calm down. "Let's hope for you that I'm still a feminist when you'll be forced to rely upon my skill some day. Because with rude questions like those, you won't be making any friends" he stated, now a little more calmly.

Rhion released a short sigh. His response would undoubtedly cause her to fire back yet another rude comment. Instead, he would try to steer the conversation away from what he just said. Even if it meant swallowing his own pride. Reaching for one of his pockets, the Mandalorian clad in white would place a necklace on the table. One decorated with many large and sharp teeth. "The teeth belong to a Nexu. Killed it with a vibroknife on Cholganna. Zara over there made its teeth into a necklace for me, as a trophy." he explained, while giving a slight nod in the direction of a female Mandalorian in green armor, who sat beside an angry Gryff. "If that isn't proof enough for you, try killing one yourself."

Sitting among the three other Mandalorians, actually having a conversation, felt like he was back at his home. Almost, not enough tihaar or brawls, actually this place was rather boring for what was supposed to be a place Mandalorian would go. Raising his hand when introduced while chugging his drink he managed to get with him, before Isabeau flippant as ever, pushed him over to the table. After a few seconds of chugging the drink's liquid, he placed the empty glass down on the table again, shaking his head a bit releasing a short "aarh" sound, as the tihaar liquid burned itself down his throat and into his stomach.

"Aye, shab like that really does get your blood pumping! Isn't that right Isa?" Asked Kragr Isabeau with a joyous laugher as he wrapped his arm around the female Mandalorian. "Though between you and me kih senaar(little bird), the fighting did stop rather quickly in my opinion" admitted Kragr, not removing his arm and he leaned back in his seat as Isabeau did as well.

"Often the hunting is just boring, kill this, capture this. No, where it's at, is storming a space station, fighting the Sith and Jedi or partaking in large scale battles" replied Kragr to Rhion's conclusion. Kragr's eyebrow rose at Rhion's comment, "what, you rather flee with your tail between your legs that fight Imperials? Imperials always make for a good warm-up" commented Kragr.

As a drink was placed in front of Kragr, from Isabeau's order, he gladly accepted it and took a deep swig from it and let the content rest in his mouth. The spread of alcohol was pleasant, strong and had a sweet after taste, while it wasn't Tihaar, it still got the job done. While Isabeau did seem to be more affected by the alcohol than kragr did, despite a couple of Tihaar drinks he has had over the evening.

With the conversation drifting towards the introductions of the other two Mandalorians, Zephyr was content to drift out of the conversation and turned his attention towards the bar though only for a moment as Isabeau made another jab at him, earning her a glare though he didn't care enough to maintain it for long nor did she seem to wish to prolong the mocking. His poorly thought out comment seemed to make him the target of her jokes but he wasn't about to escalate the situation to a fight over something so petty.

"I'm not afraid of the Empire."
He shrugged. It was likely his anger and hatred towards the Imperials clouded his judgement but he would not be deterred by retribution. Besides, Zephyr knew his capabilities well and was aware of when he needed support on a job and the next one would be one of those jobs. After working alone for the most part of his nomad life he had begun to take on more ambitious jobs, when income was low, which required him to work with others. He had considered asking someone he met tonight to join him on the next job but he wasn't particularly keen on anyone he had met yet.

As Rhion challenged Isabeau, Zephyr took it as his cue to slip away from the table and back to the bar as he didn't want to get involved and had a severe lack of drink at the table. He leaned against the bar while waiting for his order and chatted to the man next to him, chuckling as the two shared a joke. After receiving his order, Zephyr walked back to the table where the trio were, walking carefully to avoid spilling any drinks and with little care for where they were in the conversation he would interrupt them regardless by placing a tray of around twenty shots in the middle of the table before retaking his seat and taking a shot.

With the conversation lingering on the topic of the bar fight, Isabeau looked up at Kragr as he wrapped his arm around her "Even you got to pick your battles." she said before continuing in a playfully proud way "And sometimes when you pick your battles, you may get a little help from me.". Settling down, she sat comfortably for a while whilst the conversation continued, seemingly smoothly for her until Rhion took offence to her question. Of course, it may not have been as smooth for the others, seeing how Kragr rather bluntly accused anyone not wanting to fight Imperials of being a coward.

Sitting back up straight, she looked at him, quizzically at first, confused as to what he was getting at. It soon dawned on her that he had taken her question as an attack which what not at all what she had intended. Not about to let him have a whack at her without retaliation, she leaned forth "Hold on, what rude questions?" she asked, snapping back at him with a high-pitched voice exposing her young age. Defending herself, Isabeau continued, drawing upon whatever insult she could think of first "Listen here you dim-witted egg, I was just asking if you could fight!" Feeling wrongly accused of having been impolite, Isabeau was quickly found herself feeling rather defensive. Continuing her offensive, Isabeau let the words flow together as she spoke quickly "And you know what? I'd rather be friends with someone who I know can fight than someone who maintains the shine of his armour"

She would have continued if he had not brought up a necklace. Isabeau grew silent - not at all sure where he wanted to go with this. Her almost outraged demeanour slowly started softening as he spoke of his exploit, killing the Nexu with just a knife. Crossing her arms, Isabeau leaned back into Kragr's arm again whilst looking at Rhion. Her guard was raised as she prepared for another attack - but none came. Looking down at her legs, the girl let out a low "Well" before growing silent whilst figuring out the best way to express herself. Finally, she continued "That's pretty impressive I guess" The admittance was sincere but quite obvious reluctant - still, she forced herself to produce an as friendly smile as she could muster to indicate that she wanted some form of peace.

Soon, Zephyr returned with shots. He put down a tray with many shots in the middle of the table. While it was possible to interpret it as an offer, it was better to be safe in regards to Zephyr. They had, after all, not started off on the best terms. "Are they..." she said, trailing off whilst pointing first at the shots and then at herself, Kragr and Rhion, as if asking whether they were up for grabs. Suddenly, he had the potential of going from being a social disaster to becoming the saviour they all - or at least Isabeau - needed. If Zephyr responded in the affirmative, Isabeau would lean forth, grabbing a glass for herself and one for Kragr before leaning back "Thank you" she replied, handing one to her friend and downing the other. It was certainly needed after the rather awkward introduction to Rhion.
