Nights on Nar Shaddaa (completed)

Yes the weight if who they were and what possessions and influence they carried would one day fall to their children. Which would receive what? Who knew that was far into the future and well she wanted their children to be children first. On Alderaan and Aldera the children would do just that.

The intimate touch he placed on her knee an assurance that he was content. The warrior for right now was at peace.

"I'm not sure. Something that will not get them teased by others, that is easy to spell and say. Something with meaning. " She had been lucky with her name, not like one of her friends Capricious. Hard for a 5 year old to say, they called her Capri but some were not kind .

The Naboo tasting arrived, "oh look." Faith was adventurous ,"I think it's seafood from the lake country, I wonder if it's like that which we get on the Apalis coast."

She picked it up a muscle covered in herbs, she offered it to Drago, "ready. Say ahh" She smiled.

The big Mandalorian opened his mouth wide and learned towards the food she offered. He was not the free spirit of very adventurous in this respect. Crawling around an ancient ruin or deep cave he could do, flying in the sky over an enemy world, he could do. Once he had even did a jump from near space, fifty kilometers to the ground. But he rarely changed his routine.

Draco bit into the mussel and let it slide into his mouth. It was slimy and very chewy with a slightly briny taste. The herbs tasted odd, contrasting the meatiness of the mussel. He didn't like it, but he didn't hate it either. It was edible, but possibly a more acquired taste. Plus he had tried to chew it rather than taste and swallow like he should have.

Draco smiled and swallowed down the mussel with a gulp. "It's good my love." He said quietly, whispering it to her softly and intimately, taking up a small fork.

"We have some time to think of names that our children will appreciate. I know its important that we do, and not put off deciding on names." He smiled, leaning closer. "But so long as we talk about some each day until we have some we are both satisfied we will have plenty of time. We've already seen to a lot of the preparations for the children."

He speared piece of a shellfish creature with his fork, the pinkish meat topped with dripping butter and scallions and herbs. It was one of the smaller portions, only enough for two bites, so it must be the most expensive thing on the dish.

"Now my turn." He lifted the small fork, offering it up to the beautiful brunette Princess, shining in the night lights.

Oh he was being so good at this there were a few other things on the platter that he could eat with gusto but the dainty tidbits of edibles that lived in the water he would tolerate. He was definitely was someone who preferred things that wandered over the ground. Faith laughed though watching his eyes.

"Did you know Draco that some dishes prepared from water creatures are considered to be an aphrodisiac and quite good for you?" She did not know if that was true, could be a blatant lie to just get people to eat something else.

Even if he hated it he wouldn't say it right now, "I'm glad you like it."

She wanted to think on names because well, before you know it they were here. But that was her she liked that bit of her life organized, and she liked talking about their children. She knew it wasn't that he didn't want to talk about it, or that he didn't care. He just wanted to do a little each day. She had a calendar full of meetings. She smiled.

He speared the next item, his turn to feed her something. She nodded, "I'm ready, are you ready?" She parted her lips and waited for him to place the morsel on her tongue. When he did it was wonderful, butter, a type of onion, some seasonings that she didn't recognize and didn't care whatever that was it was the best thing she had eaten in sometime.

"mmmm, that's really good you should try that next" She winked at him, "its soft and firm at the same time with something that plays on your tongue"

She looked around on the plate she wanted him to share this experience that she as having so did choose the same thing for him, "This one is yours, maybe you should close your eyes. It might help you not to see it that way all you do is taste it, and not think...look fish.." She laughed as she held the fork up, "hmmm ner ka'rta, ner draha" my heart my dragon surely she thought gave no concern to a fish, or other urchin that ran about under the waves.

"We should see about some Organa family names when we get home." He smiled at her, knowing they would have time, even as busy as she was. Even if it was time spent lying together contemplating what names they liked. Though, he should probably get Ana to begin leaving Faith's weekends open, so he could keep her to himself some days. She liked Laira, which was good. Being twins, they would be bonded, and being his children, they would at least be mildly Force Sensitive, even if they never learned to manifest it fully like their father.

She took the morsel of food from his fork, her lips wrapping around it and sliding it off his utensil as she did. Her complements eased him, believing that he had done well choosing to get them this tasting dish to share. Not only was it decent food, or by her reaction delicious food, but it was also allowing the couple a few moments of cutesy intimacy they didn't always get. At least not this kind of intimacy or closeness. "I'm glad you like it Cyar'ika."

She found the other piece of the pinkish meat on the platter, and Draco complied with her wishes, closing his eyes and leaning towards her, opening his mouth. He bit into the meat and took it from her fork when she fed it to him, opening his eyes smiling warmly at her. This piece wasn't so bad. Perhaps it was the consistency of the other thing, or the warm butteriness and softness of this meat. All in all, he enjoyed this one, rather liked it actually, which was rare considering most expensive things had weird taste or consistency, or were made from weird things that confused him as to why rich people would eat it.

"Its very good cyar'ika. I like it." He found it very good. "Well, if it is an aphrodisiac, I'm not sure we really need it, but I like it all the same." Draco caressed her thigh with a gentle squeeze, feeling the fabric of her dress, the warmth of her body. "What's next?" He asked, looking at the platter and finding a white looking meat covered in spices and took it up, holding it out for Faith. "Here, tell me how this is before our meal comes." He said with a smile.

"Yes we could look at Organa names, Family names, or we could just pick up a baby name book, or toss a coin, pull some out of a hat." She knew that choosing name was, something she fretted over. Could the name of their children drive their future? Would Iggy become bookish? Would they see him in glasses, thin, pale and weak? Or would Drago bring about images of the warrior, strong, resourceful, and brave? What did her name do for her?

And how did her mother choose names for 5 children, well three.

There was time to fret later, she smiled at her Dragon. What was Draco thinking as he looked at her, that little fire in his eyes told her one thing, but the look on his face said something else.

The food was good she could see how he watched for her reaction he wanted to make sure she was pleased, enjoying what he had arranged. Who wouldn't love this? It was stunning, even breathe taking as she could look out and see the lights of Nar Shaddaa.

She watched him with equal pleasure and interest. Her expression waiting, anxious did he like it? "Good, I'm glad you do." Even if he only said it to please her she was glad. His hand was warm upon her skin, the contact more than reassurance, more than a claim, it was knowing that she was his. He was hers.

The next thing was..interesting, she could smell spices that were unknown to her. She hoped she wasn't allergic, that would.....well. Not end the evening the way she had planned. She reached over to steady his hand as she leaned forward to take the offering.

The moment it rested on her tongue she knew she didn't recognize the spices, they were savory, with a hint of heat, she wanted to leave it resting to figure them all out, but as it rested the heat intensified. So she swallowed it. "OOoo" She smiled, her cheeks began to turn cherry red. "It's got some kick to it" She laughed, "oooo" She cleared her throat "that was" her voice a bit raspy, "a bit much for me. Wow" She reached for a glass of water and a piece of bread.

She was ready for dinner, something she was familiar with. "You should find one like it and try it" clearing her throat again.

Just as the waiter returned with their meals.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"Oh, I'm sorry love." He said dotingly as Faith reacted from the spice and spices of the white fish he had selected for her. Draco affectionately patted her thigh, checking on her as her cheeks blushed. "I didn't know. Here," reaching and grabbing a small bowl of something creamy, what looked like a pudding or heavy cream to soothe her throat and mouth from the heat of the spice.

The waitress and a waiter smiled at them and placed dishes in front of them, bearing their food and some garnish, along with things like sauces to be added at their discretion. "Thank you, could we get some blue milk. Some of the spices are troubling us." He smiled as they quickly returned with the glass for Faith. He was careful, not wanting to make her appear weak, and so he had used the word we and us. It also identified them better as a couple verbally, something that they did not always do in public. Something that he wanted to do more often.

"Here you go. This will help." Draco said, making sure she was okay, knowing milk was very good at helping recover from spices. He frowned playfully for a second, before grinning at it. "You suffer through my fire so much I didn't know you didn't like food with a little heat," in a teasing tone.

He observed his food and it looked very good. The restaurant was not so nice that the portions were very small and so it looked like they had been served enough food for the two of them to eat healthily, especially with a two or three more samples on the dish from Naboo.

Carefully he took up a fork and knife and began sectioning off his steak filled potato into smaller bite size pieces. Small enough that he wouldn't have to extend his jaw to fit them in his mouth so he could eat politely and still do his best to be charming.

[member="Faith Organa"]

She coughed some and took the blue milk drinking it down quickly. "OHhh" she smiled or tried to, "it's ok, normally I can handle that kind of spice...but this time" She took another gulp of the milk. "It caught me off guard"

She laughed and was grateful to see her dinner arrive, even though there were still a couple of items on the Naboo plate. She would for the time being let Draco have those, yep. Her experimentation into the cuisine of Naboo would have to wait to be completed.

She shivered even though she was not cold, she smoothed her skirts calming herself.

She took up her own knife and fork and began to cut the steak into bite size pieces, she would cut the entire steak before starting to eat. Yes she even had organization to her eating, she looked over at Draco not knowing if he noticed. She also moved her glass of water from the left to the right, and placed the milk beside it.

She looked at the vegetables and moved them slightly to put them in the places most accessible for her. She smiled again, and looked at Draco.

"I will need to go to Aldera soon Draco, I've spent a lot of time on Alderaan working out wedding details, Aldera will begin to wonder if we have continued our interest in them." She began to create her first bite a piece of steak medium, good for the blood she thought.

"The wedding plans have gone very well, I've appreciated that you've left it all up to me" She smiled again, she really was glad he had she could do what she wanted, as she wanted and hopefully surprise him.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"Oh, a trip to Aldera? Maybe the weekdays in the capital and then the weekend on the lake at the house?" He asked quizzically as he watched her reorganize her plate to make it simpler, more comfortable for her to eat from. "I wouldn't mind making a trip out there with you. I need to see to some system monitoring equipment and make survey an uninhabited area about maybe building a small Mandalorian settlement if I have time." He smiled at Faith. Draco hadn't yet brought up the possibility of building settlements on Alderaan and Aldera, but he had discussed it and considered it at length with his Clan.

They were of the opinion they should be in a centralized region, complete control over it, and then have the people spread out over a couple of planets in small settlements. He wanted to continue merging, or at least familiarizing his people with the people of Alderaan. They were two different people, now with something in common. They needed to be friendly, even if the cultures were very different.

"I'm sorry I haven't been more active with the planning," he frowned lightly, sure she was thanking him, but he couldn't help but think that she would be just as grateful if he was actively helping with the planning. He just had no idea about what was normal for a Royal Alderaanian wedding and so long as there was something to drink and she was happy, he would be more than content. He started eating thinking to himself about the situation going on and how he was quickly distancing himself from other distractions, pouring his focus into building a life with Faith.

Lots of things were coming to a point and his people were looking for direction. He was guiding them towards a return to home life and making a home for themselves on ground that was their own, not shared by a dozen more powerful, more influential clans. "But, I'm happy to help if you have anything you need me for." He grinned, walking his fingers up her thigh as he spoke. There would be time for that kind of thinking and planning when he didn't have a princess in dire need of his affections and attention.

[member="Faith Organa"]

"Yes the Lake House, we really need to use it more, it's so lovely and you put so much effort into it I feel bad that we don't use it more often" She wished they could just live there and forget the rest of the galaxy but no they didn't do that.

She lifted a bite to her lips and stopped, "Have you really decided to have a mandalorian settlement on Aldera or Alderaan?" It was something they talked about something they didn't know how would work. While the land on both worlds offered the opportunity for farming, and the smiths the opportunity to work with phrik from the mines, she had never heard him say that it was something that he would do. That he would support.

She was not being facetious she was being honest he had left the details to her, he was a warrior what did he know about napkins, wine, food, and place settings. She smiled trying to give him a playful look, what did she need him for more things than he realized. He was her support, her comfort, her knight, her sounding board, her friend, and her lover. He was many things.

"I need you to be you ner drahr" it was him and all that he was that she loved.

"Besides I want to surprise you on some things" Her dress, the cake, the finer details that she would point out as they danced under a sea of stars. She hoped.

"Either of them. Nothing enormous. Just trying to get some of the people settled. Looking for a place the Clan can call its own. Concordia and Mandalore are shared and is split between so many houses, clans, and corporations, that they are having trouble finding their identity beyond just guarding the system. I've been looking into a few places and no matter where they move to I would like to have at least a few of the elders on Aldera or Alderaan. Either one, which ever they prefer that they are allowed on." He smiled, clearing a few more bites off his plate as he thought to himself. His clan was small, but they had quickly lost their identity in peace-time, becoming nothing more than roaming warriors always looking for the next fight, and they were so much more than that. They had to be, he had to be.

"I know. I still should sit down and make you a wedding ring before long, something nice, something that will keep me in your heart even when you can't see me or feel my skin against yours." He squeezed her thigh just a little, catching her playful look and her endearing words. She was perfect for him, Faith kept him balanced, made him want to be a better person, made him seek peace for the first time in a long time, and he had never stopped seeking that inner peace since they met and professed their feelings and attractions for each other. She would make the most beautiful, loving bride when they married, and he knew it deep down.

Slowly he finished his plate and pushed it aside, picking at the Naboo dish as he watched her eat daintily and proper, much cleaner and with more eloquence than he. He watched her, his stormy grey eyes soft and filled with affection and love, as well as some primal attraction and infatuation as his eyes were cast upon her.

"I think Aldera would be good, as well as Alpha Mae Draco. The lands on both are rich, and both worlds are so far hidden from the galaxy. This way the Clans can have a place, and be part of all that goes on. And yes the Clan should have some kind of presence on Alderaan to show that they want to work with the people of Alderaan. With Alderaan coming under the protection of Mandalore I don't want the citizens to think that all that is Alderaan, our beliefs, and way of life as lost because of the closer ties."

She had been carefully crafting each bite of her food while they ate, and soon she was almost finished but she was also full. but now so full that she didn't want dessert, and while Draco may think he was the perfect dessert for her she was thinking of something else. He would be her midnight snack so to speak. She smiled.

She felt the warmth of his hand on her skin, ever touching comforted by it. The both of them needed to know the other was only a reach away, they were suited in this manner. He did not mind her reaching for him at odd moments, and she loved the feel of his hand upon her.

"A ring, to match this one" She held up her hand, she never took the ring off. There were many things that were ahead, the ring however would be the one item they each wore that would show their bond to one another to all of the galaxy. The Vod needed no such thing, the words were enough. They had always been enough.

She smiled again looking over as he pushed his plate away, there was a look in his eyes when he looked at her she felt warm, protected and safe. But there was that bit of glint he had that told her what he wanted on his menu.

She leaned back in her chair and placed her hands on her stomach rubbing out of habit this too was the proclamation of love. She loved him so much that she would bring into this galaxy his children. Draco's line would go on, Faith's family heritage would endure. But most of all the emotions that they shared would now be shared by two little ones.

She loved him completely. Maybe he would be dessert after all.

"Are you up to dessert?" Maybe some flambe.

Draco smiled. He hadn't said for certain he would be settling some of his people on one of her family's world until now, and it was good that she was on board, excited about it even. "I'm hoping for thirty or forty families to settle an isolated region. Phrik and iron veins, forests, and decent farmland. I want my people to find some peace and still be warriors. I'm hoping that some can find that with Aldera or Alderaan."

"I don't want my people's presence to make people think we are taking over, but I hope that a small kindred making a life there, will add some camaraderie to them." Most of his clan were looking elsewhere but, Draco had wanted someone to help him bring the two very different people's together to a mutual understanding and respect. And it would bring him some peace to have some of them living comfortably close by.

Draco smiled and cooled, the subject of his people colonizing her world was interesting, and they both seemed on board about the idea for now. He expected some misunderstandings and some complications, but for the kindred that settled in Organa territory, it would be important for them to get along with their neighbors. And there was still the wedding and the twins to worry about and see to, and hopefully by example the people would follow.

The mention of dessert peaked Draco's interest some, but he wasn't all that hungry or craving any more food at this point. "Hmm, I think I will wait some for my dessert. I may pick at something you get to taste it." His grey eyes gleamed. Draco had no intention of stealing his Princess's food, or telling her she couldn't, but he wasn't much interested in food. "I think I will wait until after the club to actually get my dessert."

They still had dancing to see to and spend some time enjoying each other's company and time together in public, before she had to start being reminded of some promises she made on the flight to Nar Shaddaa.

[member="Faith Organa"]

"Yes the club. Well then I shouldn't eat dessert" She put her hand over his, "let's go,to the suite and change for our night out. I'm full and maybe I can wait till later"

Dinner had been pleasant, filling and not once did she stop touching him. There was something to be said for him being touchable caressable and oh so seduceable. She smiled.

She also could use a nap before going out. And she wanted to touch base with Ana that there was no news. Yes they were on vacation but they were to be kept aware of changes.

"Besides you haven't missed me in an hour. I'm having withdrawal so you need to miss me ner ka'rta." She had not let go of his hand feeling the strength in his hand.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"If you want something sweet you should get it." Draco said, his voice a deep and melodic timber as he spoke, his tone filled with affection. He didn't want to deny her something she wanted, it wasn't really his way.

Draco felt the warmth from her skin leaking into his hand as she held him. He knew she had other duties to check up on and he should at least check in with Rach and see how things were going. And she was now attempting, and quite successfully, seducing him.

He noted the subtle changes in her tone, the slightly increased batting of her eye lashes, the added color to her cheeks. "Hmm, Maybe." He said with a grin, "I'm a bit tired, a little sore. Perhaps a massage or something else would do the trick." He flashed her just a glimpse of his teeth before leaving money on the table.

"We can go back to the suite, and miss each other for a little while. Not too much, though. I still want to go out tonight." He stood and helped her from her chair to lead her back towards the airspeeder to leave for their suite just a few blocks away.

[member="Faith Organa"]

"I have you there's nothing much sweeter" she answered sweetly and honestly. There were other desserts to have as he well knew. She held his hand firmly possessively.

A massage or back rub sure they could start with that, let dinner settle. She was planning for a long night whether he knew it or not. She felt sure he would be up for the task. She stood up then they walked towards the door. "Miss you? " She pouted but walked along.

As they walked the eyes of the information broker followed he quickly found out who the pair were. As much as some would like to use the princess for their gain it was her partner that caused the stir. Additional information was needed. He'd have to retake a few of his little mynocks but they'd soon have what was needed and then he would make a profit.

He smiled and waited.

Faith looked to Draco she could keep his attention easily and she had to admit she'd be lost without him.

"Well let's go do what we must. And I'll see if there are rewards to be had"

[member="Draco Vereen"]

The trip from restaurant to hotel was short, only a few blocks away, within walking distance of the club and the restaurant they had eaten at, not far from a skyhook known for its floating gardens. All part of Draco's plan in picking this sector, which was commanded by a gang that was fairly devoted to maintaining order so that they could maximize their own gains.

Draco grinned as they made their way to the suite, a nice hotel that advertised excellent security, but on Nar Shaddaa how good was it really? However the suite was beautiful, a foyer with a holovision screen, comfortable couches, a pair of bedrooms and antechamber on the first floor, a balcony overlooking the city, and the master bathroom and bedroom on the second floor.

Ana and Captain Lindsey had already set up camp in the suite, with a little bit of monitoring equipment and portable dataterminals. "See, love. I can plan a decent trip given enough time and a little advice from Ana." He smiled. She may have intended on seeing to her business first, however Draco was currently intent on distracting her and regaining her full attention.

His hands never left her, wrapping themselves around her waist, his beard rubbing against her neck.

[member="Faith Organa"]

"I had no doubt of your ability to plan with or without input from Ana, afterall don't you have a business and a Clan to keep busy. That takes planning Draco." Faith held onto Draco's hands, leaning against him, ok he was distracting her. She snuggled back using him like a blanket to keep her warm. She tilted her head back to look up at him, the scruffiness of his beard against her neck, his hair mingled with her own, as the two looked more and more like one.

Ana was already working to get communications together she made several notes and then waited patiently.

This place known for its criminals she still felt unsure. but she would not show this to Draco he wanted to have fun, and as many times as she was out there working among people to get them to trust the Republic she just couldn't shake this feeling that something was waiting. So ridiculous. She laughed and kissed Draco, "Are you trying to get that massage now?"

He wanted her attention, and she wanted nothing more than to give him the attention he richly deserved. "Ana go find something else to do for a bit please" Her aide nodded and headed to her own set of rooms.

Faith turned in Draco's arms, "I did promise you attention if you let me name our son Iggy, so you are saying, that if I continue with this course of action. Iggy will be his name?" She wanted to play some, tease him, see if he was serious about letting her name him Iggy. The Mandalorian named Iggy Vereen. Everytime she thought it she laughed, it would be a hot day on Hoth when she named her son Iggy.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

After her lips parted from his, "Maybe." Draco said softly as Faith snuggled closer to him, hiding herself in his arms. He was used to this kind of affections from her. Of course he was unsure and a little worried about either of them getting hurt, her more than he, but it was something he worried about often so it didn't seem out of place, and Faith was doing a very good job of distracting him from those thoughts.

She sent Ana away, who left quietly, with a little bit of a judging look passed towards him. He paid it no mind, focusing on the beautiful princess laying on him. She was being affectionate and laying comfortably in his embrace. Her hair covered part of her face, and one strap from her dress had slipped off her shoulder, her cheeks had just a little more color in them. Draco's hand slipped down and pinched her backside playfully.

"Oh, yes. Well we will see. I'm not quite sold on the name Iggy, you will have to really convince me." Draco nibbled on the lobe of her ear, holding her close to him. He wanted her, but he also wanted to wait until after they went dancing. However that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy laying on the couch together showing each other deep seeded affection and passion for a little while. And they both got to see how long he could hold out from her before cracking. He suspected he wouldn't hold out very long.

[member="Faith Organa"]

The more he gave her attention the more she wanted to pay attention. "I thought you wanted to call Rach hmm check in. Say hi. All that" Faith kissed his chin.

"I should lay down relax and be lazy." It was her pregnancy it took a lot from her she had to rest to keep up Ana did a great job of working her schedule keeping nap time ready. They had not napped much on the way, she as surprised they didn't have triplets.

Across the city trackers were being dispatched to locate where they were staying who was with them. And logistics about the hotel. Security was tight. But would they figure it out. Would they find them.

Faith took Dracos hand,"let's lay down. Be close. Then check in. Then go dance." She smiled always, "sound good" She headed for the couch, snacks on the table even though they were full.

"I miss your arms around me" Yes she missed his warmth, his gentle touch. His presence.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"I do. I will call him. But later. Right now I wanna tease you." He grinned as she kissed his chin, fairly successfully distracted from her duties, having already sent Ana from the room and was teasing him back.

"Yes, it sounds perfect ner runi." Draco said as he followed her closely to the couch, laying down so that she could lay in front of him and fit comfortably in the curve of his body. "I missed you when you were working and I haven't gotten to just lay with you yet."

She looked tired, and he knew she probably was. Carrying twins, working, and spending time with him she had a full schedule, and they tired each other out often. Faith needed a short break, and though he wasn't exactly tired, he wouldn't mind snuggling on the couch a little before they went to the club in a few hours. Things there wouldn't get going until almost midnight anyway, and afterwards he didn't plan on letting her have much peace and quiet.

He relaxed and waited for her to slide in beside him, wrapping his arms around her and kissing the back of her exposed shoulder gently, leaving a small trail from the top of her arm to the base of her neck. "Just relax for a little while."
