DARK EMPIRE
YINCHORR, EXPANSION REGION

Yinchorr. A World with a rich history of Imperialism. Decades ago, it had been the site of a Civil War between Pro-Imperial and Pro-Alliance Sympathizers in which the former emerged victorious, later on when Talvar's Empire expanded it's influence to Yinchorr, it came under the rule of the exiled Anaxsi Noble House known as House Haskler and more recently it has fallen under the control of the Dark Empire who had expelled the Imperial Military Protectorate from the planet ending decades of rule under House Haskler. However now the Dark Empire was falling apart, and the people of Yinchorr were starting to grow agitated, especially it's Human population, who still harbored loyalties to the Imperial Military Protectorate and House Haskler.

Unwilling to allow either his former enemies to rise again or the Galactic Alliance to be given an easy avenue into former Imperial Space, Lord-Regent Marlon Sularen was quick to respond. In order to ensure that Yinchorr could never undermine the Dark Empire, the Lord-Regent had dispatched his own personal enforcers known as the Red Right Hand, to Yinchorr with two objectives in mind : To abduct the Human youth of Pol Yinchorr and to then to carry out a Base Delta Zero of the Planet. Yinchorr was a liability to the Empire and thus it would cleansed of all potential traitors before they could take action against the Empire, a reminder to the galaxy that the Empire's days were far from over.

Thus, Joseph Torson found himself within the once busy streets of Pol Yinchorr, once the seat of power of House Haskler and home to the entirety of Yinchorr's Human population. Overhead, the sounds of screeching TIE Brutes could be heard while a trio of Corvus-Class Commando Destroyers including the INV Obsidian Enforcer, hovered over the city casting a large shadow over the entire city. Meanwhile throughout the city, families were being rounded up by Marine Stormtroopers with all children under the age of 16 were taken away from their parents and relatives and dragged to the city square where they were then put into Prison Transports which would then proceed to leave the planet and head deeper into Imperial Space far from the reach of the Galactic Alliance or any hostile power.

From the highest level of the Imperial Military Headquarters located within the City, Torson watched as the Imperial Operation proceeded with 25% of the City's Human Youth having already been successfully transferred off-world so far. This was the wrath of the Lord-Regent and he was just getting started. The Galaxy would celebrate today as the Empire collapse but tomorrow they would be crying and begging for mercy once they would face Sularen's Revenge. Long Live the Empire.

The air was thick with smoke and fire. From the moment Valery had broken through the atmosphere, she had seen the chaos unfolding below — Imperial warships casting their shadows over Pol Yinchorr, transport vessels lifting off with their stolen cargo, and the distant wails of a city under siege. It made her blood burn.

Her X-wing cut through the sky, engines screaming as she wove between the wreckage of crumbling towers and rising dust clouds. The moment her scanners confirmed an open landing zone, she brought the ship down fast, repulsors kicking up a storm of ash and debris. She was moving before the landing struts even fully locked, leaping from the cockpit with her saber already in hand.

The sight that greeted her was as bad as she expected. Stormtroopers lined the streets, corralling families, tearing screaming children from their parents' arms. The air was filled with the sound of blaster fire, shouted orders, and raw, unfiltered panic.

Valery exhaled sharply and with a snap-hiss, her violet blade ignited.

She surged forward, a blur of motion as she closed the distance between herself and the first group of troopers. She didn't give them any time to register her appearance, nor did she wait for them to draw their weapons.

As soon as she was upon them, her blade swept in to neutralize the threat.

In one section of the city, a small squad of Stormtroopers were in the process of patrolling the streets of Pol Yinchorr. Their task was quite simple, they were to roam through the streets of the Anaxsi-Imperial City searching for any children that might have slipped through the iron grip of the Empire and detain them should they find any so that they could be transported off-world. As they carried out their patrol they encountered a kid stumbling out of a narrow alleyway, blood splattered on his face and hands, an indicator that his parents had probably been killed trying to shelter him from the Empire.

Upon spotting the child, the lead Corporal of the Stormtrooper Squad shouted out towards the kid "Hey you. Stop right there." before setting his blaster to stun mode and aiming at the young orphan as he stood there paralyzed in fear as the Imperial Stormtroopers closed in on him. However he did not have any time to shoot a single shot as he was quickly cut down by a purple lightsaber. Before the rest of the Stormtrooper Squad could react, they too were cut down in quick succession all as the child watched.

As the Jedi stood over the dead bodies of the Imperial Stormtroopers the Kid stood there perplexed and speechless. He had heard tales of them, of the Jedi and their exploits from his parents. Throughout his entire short life as long as he could remember, he had been taught that the Jedi were corrupt, that they were morally bankrupt, that they stood for chaos and disorder. But now he found himself being saved by a Jedi, at a time where Imperials were gunning down his people.

However the Kid had no opportunity to act further as another group of Stormtroopers rounded the corner at a near by intersection soon spotting him and the Jedi at the scene of the short massacre and instinctively raising their blasters with the intent of opening fire.

Valery exhaled sharply as the last of the troopers crumpled, their bodies hitting the ground with the dull finality of battle. But there was no time to pause, no time to linger on the echoes of their fallen forms. The moment the last one fell, her fiery gaze snapped to the child.

He was frozen. Blood on his hands and face, hisyes wide, reflecting the violet glow of her saber. But before she could say anything, she felt it — another squad approaching.

She heard the shout of orders and shift of their armor. The unmistakable hum of weapons rising and being readied to open fire. She moved before they could. In a single fluid motion, Valery surged forward, closing the space between her and the child in an instant. Just as the first bolt was loosed, she swept him up into her arms, her saber flashing upward to intercept the barrage of red energy now ripping through the air toward them.

The deflected bolts scorched the ground behind her as she pivoted sharply, turning and sprinting in the opposite direction. She had no cover, no immediate escape route — but that didn't matter.

She just had to move.

"Hold on tight!" she called, her voice steady even as she twisted to bat away another incoming shot. She felt the child's tiny hands latch onto her, his grip desperate, clinging as if letting go meant falling into oblivion.

"It's alright," she promised, weaving through the wreckage as the storm of blaster fire raged behind them. "I've got you."

And she meant it.

No matter what, she was not letting go.

As the second group of Stormtroopers raised their rifles and took aim, the Jedi quickly closed the distance between herself and the child grabbing the orphan just as the first shots were fired, quickly deflecting the initial blaster fire with her purple lightsaber before turning around and sprinting in the opposite direction in an attempt to create some distance between herself and the Stormtroopers. The Stormtroopers tried to pursue her moving to run after the Jedi Master but she was too fast and before long they had lost track of her as she disappeared into a heap of debris.

With the Jedi out of their reach, the Stormtroopers circled back to inspect the first group that the Jedi had ambushed to check for any survivors. Once they confirmed that the Jedi had indeed killed the entirety of that first squad she had encountered, the lead Sergeant of the second group contacted the Imperial Headquarters. "This is Sergeant TK-340 to Imperial Command. A Jedi has been spotted in the City, wearing a Black Jumpsuit and wielding a Purple Lightsaber." he relayed.

Meanwhile at the Imperial Military Headquarters, Joseph Torson continued observing the city-wide operation through a Holomap. So far the Operation was slowly progressing at 33% completion and there had been no major interruptions despite it occurring so close to Alliance territory. when a fellow Red Right Hand Operative entered the room, quickly addressing the Special Forces Captain. "Captain Torson, sir. We've received a report from a Stormtrooper Squad in the Lower-Income Residential Zone that a Jedi has been spotted." the Operative proclaimed. "A Jedi?" Torson asked. "Yes, sir. Female Build, wearing a Black Jumpsuit and wielding a Purple Lightsaber." the Operative added. "Did they manage to identify her?" Torson further inquired. "No sir."

For a second, Torson took some time to think about this revelation. Was this an Independent Jedi? or was she aligned with the New Jedi order? In the case of the latter whoever was out there could contact the rest of the Alliance and New Jedi Order and put an end to the Imperial Operation pre-maturely. However Torson, stubborn and prideful as he was, would not going to let that happen. He had dealt with Jedi multiple times already, at Tython and at Empress Teta and he would deal with this one as well.

Thus, the Special Forces Captain turned to the Operative and gave him a simple instruction. "Get me Platoon of Red Right Hand Operatives and a Gunship. I will deal with this Jedi infestation myself."

Valery didn't slow until she was certain they were alone. The distant echoes of blaster fire and Imperial orders still lingered in the ruined city, but she had put enough distance between them and their pursuers. For now. The child clung to her, his small frame trembling, his grip iron-tight even as she eased them both into the shadows of a collapsed structure. He didn't speak. He didn't cry. He just held on, as if letting go would mean slipping away entirely.

Valery knelt down, gently setting him on the ground next to her ship. It was tucked away between the ruins, disguised beneath layers of scrap and debris — an old smuggler's trick. The entrance hissed softly as she sealed it behind her, the artificial hum of the ship's systems filling the air.

"Alright, kid," she murmured, brushing a few strands of hair from his bloodstained face. "You're safe here. But I need you to stay put, okay?"

Wide, uncertain eyes met hers.

"I'll be back soon."

The child nodded, though his lip quivered. Valery offered him the faintest smile, then rose to her feet, turning toward the cockpit. Her fingers moved to her comm unit as she tried to signal out. Nothing. Frowning, she adjusted the frequency, trying again. Still nothing.

Jammed.

Of course they are.

She exhaled through her nose, eyes narrowing as she clipped the comm unit back onto her belt. Alright, she thought, shifting her focus back to the battle outside. If she couldn't call for backup yet, she had to make them think backup was already here. Her body stilled for a moment, a deep inhale drawing in the Force, letting it fill every inch of her. Then — she moved.

Like a phantom, she melted into the shadows, the world around her distorting as she cloaked herself in invisibility. The city was still alive with chaos — Imperial squads sweeping through streets, barking orders, rounding up civilians. But she wasn't going to strike them head-on.

No, she was going to scatter them.

A lightning bolt in the dark.

With silent, calculated steps, she moved toward another sector, seeking out a second patrol. And when she found them, her violet blade would ignite — sudden, brief, and deadly. A whisper of violence before she vanished into her Cloak once more.

Let them think there were more of her.

Let them fear it.

After gearing up with the necessary equipment needed to confront Jedi, Torson quickly went outside the City's Military Headquarters where a Platoon of Special Forces Operatives awaited him along with a Heavy Gunship. As he made his way towards the Gunship, he was contacted by some of the ISB officers within the Headquarters through his helmet's comms. "Captain Torson, we're reporting multiple disruptions throughout the city. Multiple Squads have gone dark, and dozens of families are now unaccounted for. We're starting to suspect that there are multiple hostiles on the field" the ISB officer said. "Put all Imperial Units on high-alert and intensify all city patrols. Whether we're facing one hostile or multiple hostiles they must be located, identified and neutralized" the Special Forces Operative responded.

As the Special Forces Operative stepped into the Heavy Gunship, the large doors of the Gunship closed as it began it's vertical ascent soon beginning to scout above the City in search for the mysterious individual or individuals who were trying to sabotage the Imperial operation. While the Gunship hovered over tall buildings and residential homes, Torson then checked a small datapad he kept with him which provided him with the latest updates concerning the Operation, which was now at 37% completion. They were making progress but with his forces being now harassed it was possible that his entire operation could grind to a halt due to the amount of squads being silently taken out.

Then the voice of the pilot blared through Torson's comms. "Captain Torson, we just lost contact with one of the squads just one block away. Any orders?" the pilot stated. "Bring us to the last known location of that squad. Whoever is out there cannot hide from us for ever." Torson responded. Soon enough Torson's Gunship headed towards the location of the lost squad, with the doors soon opening as Torson and his Men looked downwards to find the lifeless corpses of the Stormtroopers, most likely taken out by the Jedi. As the Gunship hovered above the scene, Torson and his men began looking around searching for any possible traces of the Jedi. With any luck whoever was responsible for this would have not gotten too far and once they would find them, Torson and his men would put them down like the rabid dogs they were.
