No Man's Land

I suppose I better get used to this kind of crap. This won't be the last time i'll meet interesting new folk and probably never see them again. This is just the first of many.

Andanian nodded, not saying another word and allowing her to step out for him. Hopefully, there wouldn't be another incident with bounty hunters on Tatooine today.

Well, it is good to have friends in low places. Who knows? Maybe this won't be the last time. Maybe for once, I can make some friends that I can keep around for longer than a single meeting.

Andanian knelt down and made sure his cargo crate was hovering over the ground and ready to be transported safely. He took a glimpse at his datapad and looked at a map of the area to the nearest speeder rental so he didn't have to navigate Tatooine's sands on foot for three hours in a coat.

Kaileann would curl her fingers around the rug door. Peeking outside, her big brown eyes would pan around to check out for any questionable looking characters. Seeing it that it was Tatooine.. well, there were plenty questionable people.

However, no big lugs looking for one particular ex Imperial. She ducked back and shined a smile over to Andanian.

"Looks to be clear." she would inform him, hooking her thumbs around the straps of her back pack. "Try to be careful okay?" she'd say with genuine concern.

"Keep you head low, and you'll do right." the right corner of her mouth would perk.

Who knew what might happen, the 'Verse was a curious thing. It just might be that this little token snippet in time just might stick to the ex Imperial. Maybe next time Andanian would be the one saving a damsel in distress instead.

"Yous take care you Andanian."

As it was, she had to pick up the shield tech from the junk dealer. Oi vey, Kurt is going to enjoy this story.

He looked up from his device and tucked it back into his coat, bringing the hovering crate along with him and stopping beside her at the rug door. "I'll do my best." he said, refraining from mentioning how trouble seemed to be the one following him wherever he went.

"You as well, Kaile. I hope this isn't the last we see of each other. You seem like a good friend." was all he said before giving her one last smile before pulling his goggles over his icy hazel eyes and heading out into the sand and dust once more, a gust of wind entering the small abode as he brought himself through the doorway.
