Brook either didn't realize that he had pushed the plate or she just didn't want to eat because she maintained eye contact with him while thoughts swirled through her mind of Hoth and the things she had left behind on Hoth her mothers unburied body. Her pod for pod racing, her life had pretty much been torn to pieces and then shredded.
As all of these things came back to Brook she felt a tear fall from her eye and snake its way down her cheek. The smile that had once taken over her face. Her bright turquoise eyes became dim before she closed them. As more tears began to flow the small ginger put her head down on the table. She thought she was stronger than this she thought she could avoid crying over the things she had lost but this was not the case. Her losses combined with the pain her leg was she couldn't take it anymore.
