No Place for Slavery

Ashlan Crusade Dominion of Zygerria

For Centuries the Zygerrians and later, after a bloody invasion the Graug operated on the fringes of the galaxy, plying their vile trade whilst the wider galaxy condemned, but otherwise ignored the problem. Those that refuse to act when they could are almost as guilty as those that are committing the crime.

The Ashlans, their space now close enough to Zygerria that the slave trade is starting to impact Ashlan citizens have decided to act. There have been a number of factors influencing this decision. Talk of Sith using the planet as a hidden base of operations, the fact that recently a refugee ship flying Ashlan flags went 'missing' in that area of space, and that one of their valued sisters is now on the planet fighting her demons and in need of immediate aid.

OOC note: we have decided that our dom will respect chaos timeline that the Graug rule Zygerria, but if you decide that you personally want to fight the Zygerrians, feel free.

Objective 1
gOiVdar.png

Well known for their taste for slavery, the Sith have been reluctant to leave this planet alone and there have been rumours of them using the ruins of the black site consort as a new hiding place. Close to the slave markets for fresh slaves, worshippers and test subjects, but also dangerously close to Holy Ashlan Territory. This strategic location must be cleansed, and quickly. Any hesitation could risk increasing the power of Sith in that area and putting back the progress of the crusade along the TIngel Arm.

A small armed battalion of the Sisters of Ashla have landed and begun to lay seige to the area, they are ready to fight the filthy Graug their command will fall to those on the ground, but the real fighting, as is always the case with the Sith, will be up close and personal, saber to saber, light versus darkness.

Objective 2
LEUIMCY.png

There is only so much pain that any entity can endure before it breaks, unfortunately in this case the entity is a beloved member of the Ashlan crusade. Finding herself lost and alone, and then tortured by the dark entity Hyrva. She was within a hairs bredth of rescue on Wgah'nagl.

Now, her presence has been felt by one of the Ashlan's knights, and for motives known only to himself has taken her redemption as his personal duty. Eina will not become and enemy of Ashla, her salvation means everything.

Objective 3
EUZ0QlQ.png

The bustling markets of Zygerria are run by Zygerians and Graug, they make their fortunes snatching creatures from their homes and selling them to whomever will by them. The Graug are th kings here and things are becoming more brutal under their rule.

To make matters worse, an entire convention of slavers have shown up, eager to flash the living spoils of the collapsed Sith empire, dozens of wealthy slave owners are here. You can come to buy, but buy quick as slavery will very soon be illegal here too. or you might be selling? or maybe you have just come to show the slavers the good time that they thoroughly deserve.

Objective 4

Maybe you have other business on Zygerria? feel free to enjoy the rich canon world

Grand Admiral Isla Draellix stood in the hangar bay aboard the Avenging Saint looking through the huge blue energyfield that separated them from the vacuum of space. Ahead of her was was planet of Zygerria, the next target to be shown the Light of Ashla. It was a world desperately in need of the light, tbe suffering it had caused countless souls stained the whole sector.

But this isn't what was on her mind as she looked at the peaceful looking orb as it hung in space. Her friend was likely down there, she had not seen her since Mirial, she was in distress there, and now was being manipulates by dark energies. She did not fully understand what was happening, but a part of her felt guilty, maybe if she had said things differently, or handled the situation a little better she could have reached her in time. She hated the idea of Eina being lost, they would fix her.

It had not been long after Mirial and Wgah'ngal that Isla had learned of the personal interest that Geiseric Geiseric had taken in Eina's cause. It didn't take a fraction of Isla's enhanced intellect to put the clues together. Eina had been hurt by a Jedi rejecting her over dogma, and now her was a notably dogmatic Jedi, on a personal mission to rescue her.

If she hadn't felt that Eina was deliberately not giving her Gei's name, she would confront him about it, maybe she still would given time, but right now it felt like a breach of trust.

Isla turned around to where two Knave armed troop carriers were finishing loading in the bay, rows of sister stood by waiting. But she saw Gei and wanted to speak to him.

"Master Geiseric, it is good to see you, I trust trust preparations for your mission are going well?" She smiled at him calmly.

"My order is at your disposal," and she waved her hands at the Sisters "There has been some rumours amongst their ranks of something happening to the woman that they have come to venerate. Each of the Sister's here has spoken at length to an order Chaplain and their faith is certain."

She looked at him squarely in the eyes, it was a look that knew more than she was willing to say. "On Mirial our friend was already in pain, I failed to help her then, one Wgah'ngal you Jedi missed her by the interference of whatever was on that planet. I am asking you Master Geiseric, please bring our Eina home"

~ Before landing on the planet, Geiseric's room ~

Ingrid had no idea what the man was doing, nor who he was, only the aura was known by her. She approached him based on that. The man's room suddenly became darker, the shadows gathered. There was definitely disturbance in the Force, but it was completely neutral. The Empress didn't hide her power now, so it could have been familiar to the man, as Eina's aura was half made from that.

The gathering shadows eventually came together into a single person, a tall, airy, stern-looking red-haired woman. The Empress of the Eternal Empire wore a black uniform without any ranks or insignia. Her hands clasped behind her back, she stood in a small straddle. She looked quickly around the room then nodded at the man.

"So it would be you, Lord Geiseric, nice to meet you!" she said, her voice the same as Eina's, only as long as Valkyrja's voice was kind and direct, the Empress's tone was military and cold. "I know you were with her at the ball and you broke her heart, I recognize your aura. First of all, I don't want to scold you, both of you are adults, it's your business. I come here for another reason. Please do me a favour. As much as it hurts to say it, I can’t save my daughter, the Sith took away from me the opportunity to ever be able to use the Light Side, and the neutral Force here isn’t enough for anything. Save her, Lord Geiseric. Please save her and bring her home." she asked him.

It is not really possible to know how much of Eina remained, how much slept deep in the monster's consciousness from the original Valykrja, but Hyrva was still in full control of the consciousness and body of the corrupted Force Entity. Since the Truthspeaker had allies and connections on the planet, Eina had to go here to find and collect relics she had to take home.

Since corruption changed her, the biggest price has been for her not to be able to return home to Netherworld. Maybe it was better that way because she couldn’t corrupt her people or the Sanctuary. Its current shape was a large, completely eldritch-influenced monster. Perhaps only the pale wings hinted at what Eina once was. The tentacles, the protrusions, looked nothing like Gei's guardian angel, or the mascot of the Sisters.

Because of the tentacles, she wasn’t really able to walk either, just to float and fly, so she flew over the valley using her wings and telekinetics. Because of Hyrva's power, her environment was already corrupt, rotting as the entity sucked out all their life force and infected them with eldritch influence. It was for this reason that the line where she flew was visible, for only destruction and corruption remained after her.

But she finally arrived at the vault where she had to go. Here she descended near the ground in the snowy landscape, close to the entrance to the inside of the mountain.

I have always hated this planet and avoided it as far away as possible. Not only because of the graug, but also because of the slave traders. I alone had very little to do anything against them and just got killed myself. By now, however, I had friends, allies who were here with me. So maybe with them, and with the help of AC, we can get rid of them once and for all. And today was a special honour for me, as there was also a member of my clan present who was a legend and a hero in my eyes.

Then there was even my "favourite" Underboss and other people. Everything was given to win. Luckily, the Eternal Empire was in alliance with the AC, so we could come here too. I would have been happy to have managed to save the slaves and bring the slavers to justice. But if they accidentally die… Well, I'm not particularly interested, I'll not shed a tear for them.

This topic uncomfortably affected me because I was also a slave for a significant part of my life. No one deserved this fate. Nobody! After landing on the planet, close to markets, I checked my gear, weapons, and everything once again. Everything was in place and fine. We could start on my part. I just hoped we wouldn’t get here too late and there and we'll still find living slaves.

"Let's go, we don't have time to waste." I told the others.

Mairéad had landed her newly acquired ship the Marzanna in a shady docking port, as if there were any other kind, not far from the market and joined the others at the designated location. She was wearing a long coat and had a wide brimmed hat hiding her distinctive braids. She had to avoid detection, as much as the Ashlans were unwittingly providing providing perfect cover for her attack, she was still technically a fugitive from their Jurors.

She saw the other gathered people, a varied gang, all with motives to exact a little revenge on these slavers. She wondered just how far some of them were willing to go? Maybe some were jist here to free slaves, maybe others, like herself had more violent ends on mind

"It is good to have you all along for this, I have been planning this for a while" her recent apprehension and escape from the jurors had out her back several weeks but it had given her time to think and to plan, Rorak IV was never going to work, she knew that now.

"I will be heading straight for a small Palace to the east, I am looking for a Hutt called Rookal, I was meant to be his bride. This is very personal for me, so I would appreciate being able to deal with him personally, if any of you find him before I do" She grinned with a malice that showed she was no longer afraid of the darkness she was warned of when she first learned of her powers.

"I will be avoiding the Ashlans, the actions that have led me here have made me a target for their hunters." Bounties were public knowledge so she suspected any of them would already know this if they cared to look, but a few kills of slavers and criminals well outside of Ashlan space is not something she felt any of the gathered slaver hunters would frown upon themselves, otherwise why would they have joined her?

Geiseric’s faith was put to the test yet again. Through all the recent victories of the Bogan, he had found a certainty in Ashla. A certainty that the defenders of the Light, of the Galaxy, would always stand up when they fell. Now the Bogan had taken someone close to him, perhaps the thing closer than all else: his heart. Certainty was nowhere to be found, and his own role in what had happened made him grieve even more.

He sat alone in the quarters assigned to him aboard Isla’s ship, bracing himself as they got closer to Eina. Her aura was ever-present now. He felt her pain constantly, to him it felt chaotic and unknowable like the Dark Side was. In his dreams, all he saw was Eina, begging him not to leave. All his attempts to suppress the feeling failed. They had to find Eina and end this, any way they could.

The aura of the room dimmed into the same strange, neutral feeling that Eina’s home in the Netherworld had. He could pinpoint a disturbance in the Force, one very particular. He didn’t truly understand, but accepted what was about to come. The disturbance became an apparition. He wasn’t sure if she was there in the flesh, or simply projecting herself across the galaxy. Despite wearing nothing to indicate who she was, he recognized her instantly.

"So it would be you, Lord Geiseric, nice to meet you. Iknow you were with her at the ball and you broke her heart, I recognize your aura. First of all, I don't want to scold you, both of you are adults, it's your business. I come here for another reason. Please do me a favour. As much as it hurts to say it, I can't save my daughter, the Sith took away from me the opportunity to ever be able to use the Light Side, and the neutral Force here isn't enough for anything. Save her, Lord Geiseric. Please save her and bring her home."
she asked him.

“Empress. I should have expected to hear from you regarding our… situation,” he returned the same cold tone. “I was with Eina that night. I cannot hide that truth any longer. I created this mess. I am compelled to fix it…” he hesitated, “but you must understand this may not work in all our favours. I will try with every ounce in my body and all the power of the Force behind me to save your daughter, but the creature that has taken her is powerful. More powerful than a squad of seasoned Jedi. I hope you can understand our predicament.” he couldn’t bring himself to say exactly what he meant, but he knew Ingrid would understand. The prospect of having to kill Eina was unsavoury for all, but no one could discount the reality what they were faced with…

Isla Draellix-Kobitana Isla Draellix-Kobitana

After Geiseric’s conversation with Ingrid, he raised his head and marched to the hangar bay. He noticed Isla approaching him, and braced himself for whatever conversation he and the defence minister were about to have. He knew she was a friend of Eina’s as well, and she looked just as worn from this ordeal as Geiseric. The liberation of Zygerria under any other circumstances would have been a joyous occasion. Perhaps for most in the crusade it still would be.

"Master Geiseric, it is good to see you, I trust trust preparations for your mission are going well?" She smiled at him calmly.

“They’re going as well as one would expect.” he said flatly, giving no real indication of how he felt. He was sure she would discern that information on her own, and he didn’t need to trouble her with any more than she already was.

"My order is at your disposal," and she waved her hands at the Sisters "There has been some rumours amongst their ranks of something happening to the woman that they have come to venerate. Each of the Sister's here has spoken at length to an order Chaplain and their faith is certain."

Geiseric nodded as he looked over the Sisters standing at attention while a war raged in the back of his mind. He wanted to believe that his faith was certain, but faith alone had led him to this very moment of anguish. It had been faith in the ways of the Jedi that had led him to leave Eina before. It was love that led him back, but what exactly that meant challenged all his beliefs.

“I will do all I can. Ashla wills it.” with that he gave her a salute, then turned to board his own transport down to the hell-world below, and towards the Bogan that awaited him there.

Gazing towards the market, Arturo let out a small sigh. The flesh peddlers of Zygerria were already busy hawking their wares, and from the crowd of aliens swarming around the different stalls and stands like flies on a corpse, it seemed to Arturo that they were making a killing. Slavery, after all, though morally wrong, was often profitable. Arturo knew that from his earlier days in the Sun, before then. He also knew that his companions would frown at his opinion on the subject; his was a cynical and often unwelcome view, more in line with reality than their's was likely to be. Not that it mattered.

For him, it wasn't personal. It was just business.

More than a few of the so-called businessmen here had bounties on their heads. One in particular -a Hutt by the name of Rookal- had caught Arturo's eye. The price on his head alone was enough to make a Zabrak blush. It was also one of the main reasons the contractor had risked coming here. That and a friend had asked him along, too. "Slow your roll, verd'ika. A little patience never hurt no-one." Turning to Silhana Cadera Silhana Cadera , the mercenary/crime boss raised an eyebrow expectantly. No doubt the fiery young Twi'lek would jump at the opportunity to bite back. She usually did.

Scanning the crowds, Arturo couldn't help but notice a figure as they broke off to join them. If not for the wide hat and straggly coat, Mairéad Solus Mairéad Solus would've blended in perfectly amongst the filth and detritus of Zygerria. As was, she looked like someone trying hard not to. "Mornin'," he greeted the woman as she came to stand alongside them, his drawl mimicking that of the locals. Eyeing his newfound ally as she eyed them, Arturo listened quietly as she laid out the plan, and the personal stakes that came attached.

Again, for him, this was just business.

At the mention of a bounty concerning the Ashla, Arturo's eyes widened slightly. A subtle shift in his expression and it was gone, a ghost on the wind. "Noted." He replied, looking around to make sure no-one outside the party was within earshot. "When we find this Rookal, what do you intend to do with him?" An innocent question, it had all the hallmarks to suggest there was more to it than there seemed. Questions...

He really had to kick the habit.

After sending identification codes to the present Ashlan Crusaders, the Vandemarians continued their approach, leaving their cruiser behind and descending with a small, company sized force. It was the first contact, a first meeting and suspicion towards the imperial vassals would be natural, therefore the High Imperator agreed on all terms. Taking five Cadres and two Stormeagles, he made his way to the surface, intending to meet with the sieging Sisters of Ashla.

Vandemar is on the far end of the New Imperial territories, yet influence can reach further than the own border, should. The Ashlan Crusade was an interesting collective of extremists, aside from their fundamentally flawed view that the Force and not people should be in charge, they were not so difficult from the Vandemarians. They too want the Sith gone, exterminated, without even a stain of presence, not even a whisper or memory left. What the New Imperials begun, will be brought to the very end. No Darth, no Dark Lord or Dark side adept will remain. The purgatory of blade and lancer is final and absolute.

The two gunships swiftly moved into the atmosphere, flames dancing around their prows as the pilot crews put them deeper into the gravity of the planet. The High Imperator waited for the signal to leave, his Legionnaires silent and focused. It was a more demanding disembark than usual. The Hasta was usually unleashed to cut off the enemies head, right into combat and annihilating the resistance. This was a diplomatic mission and the Vandemarian warriors had to be patient and restraint. A challenge? Not at all, they were extremely disciplined and indoctrinated, but not to look intimidating or threatening would be an a small obstacle. A slight smile rushed across the helmeted face of Aurelian when he thought about it just before the ramp opened.

With forced calmness the troops disembarked, nearly a hundred meters behind the set up lines of the Ashlan Sisterhood. Seventy-five Legionnaires moved into their five cadres, three shield cadres and two evocati cadres, standing at attention as their grandmaster walked through their lines and approached the Crusaders. Clad in his shining golden armor, a large shield in one hand, though not large enough to cover the presence of a blade at his side, a ranged weapon magnetically attached to his thigh-plate, he seemed like an armed celestial. Without any hesitation he would move forward to meet with the local commanders and officers to offer his support . . .

Rookal was finishing his lunch, it has been a 4 course banquet sampling some delicacies ordered from that Paranoda gentleman, absolutely delightful he thought to himself, now bored and looking for amusement. There were three young women nearby slowly dancing for him, they amused him for a while, but they were ageing, maybe time for them to find new employers.

"Guards, please remove those three and bring me in some fresh entertainers, see if someone at the market is will to take on their contract."

It was a shame they hadn't been worth more, when he had signed them on to their apprenticeship he had promised them all sorts of perks and wealth, but if they weren't capable of meeting the full duration of the course, then they would be out on the ear. Nobody freeloads off of Rookal.

The next two entertainers were warriors, gifted to him from the blue hutt, Amul.. something? A pair of lobotomised and mind controlled Bryn'adul warriors that would fight each other to near death until he commanded them to stop. He had seen this before too, but he watched a few rounds, mildly bemused, before moving his way over to the balcony above his rented palace.

It was a 6 story building with his throne complex taking up the top two floors. There were several levels of state rooms and meeting Chambers where he was entertaining guests. Right now he thought of his guests, maybe one of them could be a fun bride, he hadn't offered the place at his side out in nearly two years since those zygerrians screwed him out of the young human woman, he licked his lips thinking about the holo of her he still had from when helped her choose a wedding gown.

Maybe there was a suitor of similar beauty down stairs on in the lush gardens, surrounded by the high permitted wall. He liked this palace, it looked like a lush home for the decadent but had all the trappings of a fortress. It was both comfortable, and safe.

Broken and confused Ulrica was dragged behind a sleazy looking slaver She couldn't remember the last time she had gotten to lay down and rest instead of being forced to sleep upright in a standing position with hundreds of other slaves when taken from the CIS to here she thought that she would have been saved by the CIS however she gave up after 3 weeks. snapping her out of her thoughts she was going threw the motions and climbed onto the stand with the other salves as the slaver begins directing his audience, to her.

"come one come all, see this wonder we have today this strong slave still is pure and unravenged not only that but she can prove to be a decent bodyguard if you want her to and finally. she can do this." Clicking a button the slave collar on Ulrica sent a strong electrical shock to her neck and like a trained dog she would transform into her lupo form as the slaver laughed.

the slaver began again talking to the crowed, "now I know what your thinking the scarring of her side and arm isn't that appealing so ill start the bid at 1000 credits we can begin the bidden once people are done inspecting the subject so feel free and come and get a feel for 'er.

There were many horrors within the great vastness of the galaxy; terrors that one could only imagine in dreams. Heinrich had seen as much on the dreaded planet Wgah'nagl and beyond. Yet, despite the vast horrors that the galaxy had to offer, slavery had always had conjured a particularly bitter taste in his mouth. Having been imprisoned for years at the hands of the Sith left him feeling that no one should be at the mercy of another. As such, the planet of Zygerria had always likewise left a bitter taste in his mouth. He found himself calmly making his way through the marketplace, taking note of everyone that seemed to be involved in the trade that he so deeply despised.

As he progressed through the crowd, he came upon a stage that facilitated the sale of flesh, and his eyes immediately shot toward the individual that was currently presented. Heinrich eyed his surroundings as he silently pushed his way through the crowd, trying his best to gauge the opposition at hand. He had taken care to send several members of the Sons of Ession throughout the city, making sure that they entered without identifying themselves. He was unsure as to whether it would be enough; the stranglehold the slavers had over the planet was strong.

He managed to make his way far enough into the crowd to get a good look at the pour soul being tortured before the crowd's very eyes. The sight of it made something snap, causing him to push more violently through the crowd. He approached the stage just as the first bidder was about to place his bet on the stranger, and grabbed him by the shoulder as he whispered in his ear.

"If you bid, you die."

The man lowered his hand, his bet drifting into the great dissonance of the crowd around him. Heinrich would find a way to save this slave, but he needed to make sure it would not be in vain. He hit his commlink, sending a silent signal to the Sons of Ession that were nearby. Should everything go to plan, they would be in the crowd within minutes, at which point they would make their move...

Pietro had little love for the Zygerrians, largely due to their history of slavery and oppression. This distaste was only compounded by the increased Graug presence on the planet, and amplified by the stench of the former Sith that once held sway over the region. All of these factors were compounded into a singular vision within the cardinal's mind...

The planet must be cleansed.

He walked the ranks of the faithful, saying a prayer to each unit as he passed them by. Just as he finished the ritual, another ship began to touch down upon the planet. He did not recognize it at first, but he knew enough of imperial designs to put things together. He left the bulk of the Ashlan forces to their commanders, opting to meet the newcomers himself. He approached the ally forces with his Holy Guard in tow, taking his time to assess these new arrivals as he approached them. Though he was no expert on reading the colors of other factions, he recognized these troops to be from Vandemar. Pietro admittedly held mixed opinions on the Vandemarian outlook on the Force, but to him, that was no different to how he felt about others among the ilk of their imperial allies. In the end, they shared a very important goal; eradicating the Sith at every turn.

The cardinal offered the Vandemarian commander a bow of respect as he approached, doing his best to show that they were equals upon the field of battle.

"High Imperator Sigismund, it is a blessing to see you and yours on this day. It is always good to see allies extending a hand."

He took a moment to glance back at the Ashlan forces, his eyes narrowing upon their objective as he spoke.

"Our scouts have reported minimal Sith presence, though the Graug seem quite numerous. But then again, one can never underestimate the treachery of the Sith. It would be safe to assume that we may encounter a fair share of crimson blades before the day is done."

Isla watched as Gei boarded the shuttle. She began to fidget in her shoes, how could she be idle here in orbit, while her friend, a friend that she had made certain promises to was in distress on the ground.

"Master Geiseric, wait" Isla strode uptrend ramp after her Jedi, ready discarding her overcoat and beginning to unbutton her dress.

"I can't just wait here, I dont know if my presence will be of assistance on the ground, but I want to help in any way that I can."

Isla beckoned over a pair of the Sister's of Ashla who would help her into a suit of armour. She was the Grand Master of their order and today she would get a chance to prove her worth in more than just a ceremonial role.

She had trained extensively in the armour, the Sisters were mostly of a similar stature to herself so only minimal adjustments were necessary to fit it to her. She continued to talk to Geiseric as the Sisters changed her, including tying her long blonde hair up into a tight braided bun that would fit inside the helmet.

"How much do you know about the situation down there? If she is held by the Bogan by Sisters and I will ensure you have a path too her"

The finishing touches were put to her armour including clipping sword of the admiralty to her waist. She would leave the helmet off until it was needed so she could continue to talk. She was now grateful that she insisted the armour be made with the comfort of the wearer in mind.

"I’m not as insensitive and cold-hearted monster as the rumours say about me." she said.

Ingrid didn't move any closer, the man's Light Side aura burning painfully for her even from such a distance. In the present situation, she had no protocol obligation to endure all this. However, the red-haired woman sensed something. Eina was born of the woman's soul, so she felt and saw for a moment what only the strongest could. She nodded, naturally understanding what the man was thinking. However, there was an unpleasant feeling in the woman.

"Do you have any idea at all what the bond that is between you means?" asked. She and Adrian didn’t know at first, and she had a feeling the crusader didn’t know either.

If that was indeed the case and the answer was no, Ingrid sighed wearily. It wasn't so stiff and cold now. She would have liked to say they were stupid kids. But she was a stupid kid once, when she was laid dying on the floor of Bastion's palace when hers and Adrian's bond forged.

"You will not kill her and you will not let anyone else do it. That is a fact. If I think you don’t understand why you feel her all the time, why you hear her, why you dream about her. If I felt it well before, this is not an average bond between you. You are one in the Force. You always know where she is, you can see what she sees, you can hear what she hears. You can speak telepathically to each other from any distance. Both of you know what the other person is thinking. You feel each other’s emotions, all your joys, pains, sorrows. All your common joys will be doubled, including sorrow and pain. Even the injuries you have suffered may be suffered by the other. If one of you dies… if the other is not strong enough, they will not survive either." she explained. "You have two bodies, two minds, two personalities, you are a different person, but thanks to your bond, in the Force, you’re one. You have merged it into one soul; in the Force, you’re one. Do you understand what this is means?"

Her words may have sounded cruel, but it was better to tell the truth, especially in a situation like this.

"It is because of these that no one has a chance but you. If Eina is still there, you’re the only one who can reach her through the bond. Both of you could be able to infiltrate and enter each other's dreams and thoughts. It is an effect as if it were reality, in which case time passes faster in your mind. If she even attacks you but you manage to contact her, you will have time to stop her. If possible. However, this is a double-edged weapon, you are able to affect her with the Light Side through the bond, but she is also able to affect you with the Dark Side. Oddly enough, I don’t feel corruption in you. Yet, Eina knows what the Force-bond means and how it works. Strange that she didn't try to corrupt you. Unless... it doesn't matter. Unfortunately, we don’t have time to practice, and if she’s still in there… it’ll probably break your heart for what you see. If she’s still there, she may have been locked into her biggest and worst nightmares for months. You need to heal not only her corruption, but her soul as well, if there is still hope." her voice was no longer cold here, just worried and full of pain. "I hope she inherited my willpower and not Lord Vandiir’s …"

The Empress looked deep into his eyes.

"If you can’t save her now, but there will still be a chance for this… I offer my help to teach you how to use the bond to save her. And I will explain everything about the Force bond." she offered.

After the conversation, when the knight had already set off, the Empress followed. She heard the conversation between the man and the Grand Admiral. Jedi… There was a reason why she didn’t like either side. And the religious section was even worse. Sith, Jedi… it was equally bad for her. Ingrid watched from the shadows as the Grandmaster began to pick up her armor

"If you want to be dead, go! It's not my duty to stop you." she said in her cold voice as she stepped out from the shadows. "Only Lord Geiseric has any chance. She might not kill him in an instant. Others for sure will be dead."

She came closer, then nodded respectfully to the woman.

"Grand Admiral! I think you should stay here, after Panatha I think the two of us should talk about a lot of things, don’t you think?" she asked.

Geiseric could only sit and listen in silence as the Empress explained the bond between him and Eina. So much was dawning on him, and though it didn’t change the terrible situation, being able to understand it more helped to ease his mind.

“I suspected it was such, but these bonds… they are a rare kind. I wish I could learn more from you, but to do so would be to sit idly by when we are so close. I must end her pain and suffering now before I can bear it no longer. My transport awaits me. You can come along if you wish.” he offered, though he knew full well that he couldn’t stop her anyway. The crusader stood up from his bed and made for the door.

———————————————————————————

Geiseric boarded the shuttle solemnly. He lowered his head, prepared to deliver a silent prayer to Ashla when he heard Isla calling out. He looked up to see her running after him.

"Master Geiseric, wait! I can't just wait here, I dont know if my presence will be of assistance on the ground, but I want to help in any way that I can. How much do you know about the situation down there? If she is held by the Bogan by Sisters and I will ensure you have a path too her"

“I cannot deny you that,” he turned away as the Sisters of Ashla undressed their leader. “I’m not sure if I could do this alone. I don’t know what manner of creature it was that took her from us, but Eina is… plagued… by the Dark Side.“ he held his tongue when it came to divulging the matter of the Force Dyad. She didn’t need to know what the Eternal Empress had shared with him, lest she come to doubt him as he was doubting himself.

When he turned back around to see Isla in her combat gear, he heard the now familiar voice of the Empress. He had suspected she’d remained, but preoccupation with the task at hand had kept him from sensing her.

I think you should stay here, after Panatha I think the two of us should talk about a lot of things, don't you think?" she asked.

“I think Admiral Draellix has proven herself to the crusade… and as a friend to your daughter,” he retorted to Ingrid, “perhaps you should be joining us as well, Your Highness.“

Equipped: paired lightsabers, lots of anger, an unmarked speeder truck

They continued to discuss the plan whilst they waited for the last members of their group.
"When we find this Rookal, what do you intend to do with him?"
"Truthfully, I'd like to rip him away from his home, send him far across the galaxy to meet a terrifying future spouse. Then I would force him to undress in front of howling drunken slavers before causing him to kill a bunch of innocent slave girls on the ship in blind terror?" She sighed solemnly as frost started to appear just below eyes that were done crying. "But failing that I might just rip his frozen heart out of his bloated chest." He face immediately switched almost to an innocent smile "why do you ask?"

There was a serenity in the way she spoke, as if even just talking about gaining closure was removing some of the burden from her. She had no idea whether doing this would cure her despair or seal her fall into darkness, but she didn't care.

"I would like to try and rescue as many slaves as possible today, there is no good done if these slavers are simply replaced and their slaves immediately taken in to new ownership."

A speeder truck stopped near the group. The driver got out, lit a death stick and walked off without looking over and without locking it.

"Perfect, this is our ride to the palace if anyone is coming" un-marked and un-registered, Mairéad had paid for this service in advance to allow them to get in quickly and also back out quickly if things went south. She looked for the driver but he was long gone. His drop completed and his money already received.

"We should wait a little longer to see if Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae and Ivixa Nera'kas Ivixa Nera'kas are joining us, then make our move."

She hadn't sensed anyone nearby yet, so she floated calmly into the vault. She knew exactly where the traps were, what to expect, so she could move quickly and efficiently. As she went in, she saw countless corpses and skeletons. In different phases of decomposition. Eina hasn’t dealt with them yet, but they might come in handy later, if she needs to get reinforcements, yes they might come in handy.

As the corrupted entity got inside, she saw more bodies, but less and less. Interestingly, one of the traps here was even ruined. She tilted her head slightly to the side, but it wasn't that important. She felt annoyed when she arrived at the entrance to the vault and there was a huge hole in it. And the hole was not caused by a lightsaber, but by an explosion.

Eina reached into the Force and collapsed the whole door with telekinetics, angrily. And her anger intensified further when she had to face the fact that the whole vault was empty. Inside, the bodies of two mercenaries were visible and the corpses of four demons. To the demons who had to defend the place. She scanned the place with Force, but sensed nothing. Even the hidden storages were empty.

This suggested a Force user was at this location earlier. She turned and "walked", floated out. There were two more vaults that she had to check.

This planet was a slavers paradise and ever since the fall of the sith empire it had only grew ten fold...not to mention likely plenty were celebrating her death...boy did they have a rude awakening coming here soon! However for the moment clad in her fire proof robe with the hood concealing her face stardust walked with her merry band of friends? Allies? Enemies of my enemies? Hm that was a case by case thing to be frank. Regardless for the moment she knew plenty were on her side including her clan mate Silhana Cadera Silhana Cadera who, even without the force, star could feel was excited to merely be in stars presence. Popping her neck she sighed a in annoyance as all she wanted to do was just burn it all away

he is right, patience my vod, if we strike now we risk losing a good portion to escape. We must tighten this noose before we draw the rope down to hang them

Hanging would be the most merciful death, but star planned to make them suffer, looking to Mairéad Solus Mairéad Solus she gave a grin

I will not interfere with personal...business...my goal is to rid as many slavers in this market and even customers should I judge them to be guilty

Judge jury and executioner, they would bring a heavy hammer down against these rats

It was hardly a city.

Zygerria in the wake of the Graug incursion was fundamentally different. Much of the indigenous Zygerrian population had either evacuated or been killed off by the monstrous creatures, who had spared only those who were considered useful to them or paid extensive tithe in some fashion. Nevertheless, the slave trade on Zygerria was left intact after the invasion, though more than a few Zygerrian ex-slavers had found themselves in quite the opposite circumstances. However, those Zygerrians who had strong underworld connections which the Graug could leverage, were spared to continue their work, though they now collected slaves on behalf of their Graug overseers, rather than for their own personal benefit.

Nevertheless, none of the slavers were to be spared.

In spite of the events on Panatha, the Eternal Empire had found new allies in the Ashlan Crusade, a rising galactic superpower sweeping through the ex-Sith territories within the Tingel Arm. This was the farthest the Ivixa had ever traveled from the Unknown Regions, finding herself in the opposite corner of the galaxy on an unfamiliar world. Blackwatch deployed her primarily for wetwork, so this was a familiar mission profile for her. However, in order to better navigate the Zygerrian terrain, she had leveraged her old connections in the Wild Hunt to recruit a guide.

Vivian Skye.

The taller, red-skinned Togrtua was reported to be a ferocious, yet skilled fighter, especially with her double-bladed spear. While it made Ivixa uneasy knowing that the woman lacked proficiency with any modern weapon, the Special Agent was eager to see her in action with the weapon. She had gone out of her way to make sure that the Togruta would be fairly compensated for her work by the Contractors’ Guild, so Ivixa anticipated that she would prove to be an excellent asset.

The sniper looked to her partner and nodded as the two women made their way to the rendezvous point to link up with the others, taking in the ruined, hastily-reconstructed surroundings of the city as she did.

“This should be a fairly standard op.” Ivixa said with a gentle smile. “I’ll be on overwatch, but try not to get...too excited out there. If you do, the energy shield should give you some protection.” She added, knowing that the desire for revenge could lead to her partner overextending, which was why she had decided to give the Togruta the defensive device, along with a quick course in operating it. “Keep it in the conformal mode, so it won’t inhibit you in melee.”

Once she reached the rendezvous point and identified the speeder truck that would be their ride into the market, the sniper paused when she recognized the two mercenaries ( Arturo Braga Arturo Braga Silhana Cadera Silhana Cadera ) she had worked with on Annaj, a frown manifesting across her cyan features as she took in their familiar, armored forms.

“Oh, great. Amazing.”
