Ulrica cried softly as it seemed like to her she was being saved from her captors by the crusaders. For a while she thought hoping for rescue was a fruitless effort but here they were for her and the other slaves in the area. "T-thank you so much." she wimpered as she stood there unknowing what to do with everything that had happened. before switching back to her human form.

Mabie joining these people would prove more useful than the CIS at least these people are Kind enough to save me. she thought to herself as everything played out

Frank made his way threw the Market looking at the various slug thrower ammunition that they sold. His undead visage showing from the waist up as he wore armored combat pants and boots He made his way over to Heinrich as He ignited his lightsaber and pulled out a cigar using the crusaders light saber blade to light it before blowing smoke back in his face. "do you always tend to make a scene when doing things more quietly would work better?" Walking back to the Wolflady he would Notice the unconscious slaver on the ground.

having heard the man say a couple thousand credits for the starting bid Frank held up a credit chit hades corp had bugged. "10,000 credits. for the girl." Noting the scared and hesitant faces of the other bidders. He would chuckle. "I guess I won the bid." walking over to the unconscious slaver he put the credit chit on the man before turning to Heinrich. and spoke telepathically. "Let the man go the chit is bugged that way it will lead your people back to his headquarters were you can bust their supply line."

In fact, Eina was never alone. Only the parasite convinced her about this; the reality was that there were always others around her. Souls, other beings. They were people she could take care of, people she could care about. That is why she took care of almost all of Valkyrja as a mother. She always felt the feelings of others, they communicated in such a way. The fact that the parasite had locked Eina away from this was already torture. The creature really managed that, she felt that she was alone.

She heard Gei's voice, at first it was just a whisper, then louder and louder. Eina already understood sentences from his words. The man couldn't have known, but Eina had heard from her countless times that she was real. Although the "my dear" was a novelty. So he had never called her like this. And when the man touched her, she remained silent. Sometimes the parasite touched her face, even kindly, but that touch was cold. This was warm, kind, caring, like it’s home. Real, she felt whole again for a few moments, as the other half of her soul was here with her.

This could only be seen by Gei, where he touched Eina, the woman's "skin" became stronger and began to glow faintly again, to heal. She could hear the request clearly, the Valkyrja raised her head, her gaze now seemed clearer, she could see the crusader. It was possible to feel happiness and pain from her at the same time.

"Are… are you real? Are you really real?" she asked lost.

Eina wanted to reach out to touch the crusader's face, arms, anything, but she couldn't move because of the cobweb that still held her captivity.

"I still don't understand… you never give an answer… you haven't done it many hundreds of times. You always go… you are excluded from your life. I can't hear your prayers since the ball. You said I didn't do anything wrong, so why don't you want to see me anymore? Why did you leave me? On the planet, you said you wouldn’t leave… yet you gave up on me minutes later. I was afraid, I was alone… no one helped. I do not understand… Why should I fight? I'm alone…" her voice was still startled and confused, girly, and the parasite's manipulation was also effective on her.

She wanted to trust the man, but she was afraid, very afraid, that she would be disappointed again, that she would be left alone again.

"I protected our secret. I hid from it what a dyad and a Force-bond are. It doesn't know, I kept you safe, it couldn't pull you into the darkness. But I don't know how long I'll be able to hide this from it. It consumed too much of me, it will find this too soon. Then it will hurt you too. I will protect you as long as I can, as always." she smiled kindly and sadly, now she had a normal voice and was not confused, her eyes clear as well. It was really her, really Eina.

Although this condition lasted only a few moments.

"Not true… you could have "come" through the bond at any time, but you turned away, you wanted to exclude me. You left me alone… Why? What did I do wrong? Why don't you tell me? Why do you always go? I just want to understand…" her voice became startled, confused, and girlish again. "I just want to understand…"

Objective - Ascend and rain fire
Location - Market, ascending a tower

First room she entered seemed empty, she spotted a ladder heading up and a wave of relief came over her, looked like this was indeed some type of lookout tower of a sorts. Taking a look up the ladder stardust sighed seeing no one coming down and rolled her shoulders as she hopped on and started climbing up rapidly as quicker she got up there the sooner stardust could spring her distraction so those heading to the castle wouldn't have to worry...well maybe who knows either way star was gonna put this market out of commission and ensure these slavers remembered WHO hunted them, who THEY should fear when they sleep, the demon that would forever haunt them!

Or well stardust didnt feel like a demon...she'd rather be at her ever growing library adding the new texts and data bits shes collected. But at least here she was doing her second thing she enjoyed! Killing slavers! Well second favorite thing to do outside of the house and in the field of battle. Anyway she needed to focus as she neared the top and poked her head in seeing two guards boredly watching the area, one groaned as the other glanced to him

what ya groanin bout over there

rather be down there! Least then I gets a good view while I stand...up here is just seeing nothin!

The two bickered back an forth, not noticing the temp rising as stardust snuck up behind them and then in a flash grabbed their mouths, steam and tha sound of flesh sizzling echoed in the lookout ad she pulled them away from the edge and snapped their necks in one swift motion.

Stepping out slowly she looked over the place, she could see the busy market below and let a breath out as she rolled her shoulders and grinned wickedly

so now they shall see...just what they celebrate

Her hands raised fire forming at her finger tips, she had to focus to not hit where the cages or slaves were, eyeing a good place to start she spied a sort of area where some of the wealthy spavers gathered to talk and turned to it

burn...back to dust!

The fire whooshed forward, roaring towards them and impacting as the fire tried jumping out to burn anything around it but was kept in line by its master, she chuckled moving the fire around before pausing to take aim at another area and letting loose another burst of flames

This truely felt amazing and oh so satisfying...

Equipped: paired lightsabers, lots of anger, an unmarked speeder truck, a fairly non-descript satchell

As she watched Arturo hand over the explosives she had a quiet moment of jealousy that he was giving away her toys, but then laughed, she was tense, soon everything would feel better.

She felt something strange in the air, the hairs on the back of her neck stood up as something washed over them, she didn't understand what, she just felt some power being unleashed, it felt good, and it emboldened her own power. Almost at the same time, the two droids on top of the wall went running along to one end and stopped looking in the distance, it was hard to see from their van but Mairéad could see plumes of smoke rising up from the directing they had come, something was burning back there.

"Looks like something is making a distraction for us, time to go it appears."

She got out of the van and ran the short distance to the walls, there was a drain running down it which she first pulled on to test for straight, and then climbed up. She had wirey strength from her years as a slave followed by physical training, it wasn't a difficult climb but she stopped just before reaching the top to peer over. She could see the two patrol droids looking away from her, watching the rising smoke, at the other end was another droid, it was motionless but was looking out away from the central compound.

Mairéad yanked on the top of the wall and lept up, landing gently on the top of the wall, quickly she descended the other side and into some bushes. The inside of the compound was filled with lush gardens, full of trees and bushes, finery obviously supported by gluttonous use of the towns water no doubt. She crouched and moved along to the nearest door, it was locked, this would be no problem. Mairéad pulled out one of her light sabers and with a swipe, cut the locking bolts, allowing the door to gently swing open. She stuck her head out briefly to summon the rest of the team, and then disappeared back into the compound to wait for them. The game was on.

"Are… are you real? Are you really real?" she asked lost.

“I believe so.” he replied softly, hoping to calm her down.

"I still don't understand… you never give an answer… you haven't done it many hundreds of times. You always go… you are excluded from your life. I can't hear your prayers since the ball. You said I didn't do anything wrong, so why don't you want to see me anymore? Why did you leave me? On the planet, you said you wouldn't leave… yet you gave up on me minutes later. I was afraid, I was alone… no one helped. I do not understand… Why should I fight? I'm alone…”

“Many hundreds? No, Eina, this is the creature toying with your mind. I regret that I left you during your mother’s ball, I do. If I had never been so careless we wouldn’t be here. But I did not leave you to be taken by this monster. I tried my best, but I could not reach you in time. Nor could I stay on that dread world and face the same fate as you. I chose to live that day so I could keep following you, so that one day I could bring you back.”

"Not true… you could have "come" through the bond at any time, but you turned away, you wanted to exclude me. You left me alone… Why? What did I do wrong? Why don't you tell me? Why do you always go? I just want to understand…"her voice became startled, confused, and girlish again. "I just want to understand…"

It was all a lot for Geiseric to take in. It was clear that she was still confused, her thought patterns still gripped my the dark guiding hand of the parasite.

“You will understand, I promise. I will show you the Light again. I am really here. We are in your mind. I don’t know if this projection is the creatures doing, or if this is part of our connection. Until your mother assured me of what was happening, I had no idea how this Dyad worked. But I have figured it out, just as you will figure out how to break free of this creature. If I cannot save you from its clutches today, then I will try again tomorrow, and the day after. I will not rest until I am either dead, or you are free. For too long I have devoted myself only to destroying the Dark Side. Now I devote myself to you, our friendship, and our love, for I cannot hope to defeat the Bogan without it.”

The crusader placed a gentle hand on the cheek of his tormented love, then leaned in to kiss her.

"Welcome to the L'lerims' world, Grand Admiral!" she said.

He suggested that almost everyone in the family behaves differently at work or strangers and with the family members. Ingrid was the coldest and most distant; these have not changed in years. Aesa, the woman's sister, and Eina are the most direct. Eina was even weird at times to her. She recognized perfectly her own traits and also what was from Adrian, but it was as if they had been magnified.

"You are still young and there are countless ways to have children. Lord Tubrok and I are also thinking about adoption. He always wanted a big family." she said.

Ingrid watched the other woman react to the words. As an agent, Ingrid had to learn to read from the body language of others. She was able to communicate this way without words. And she specialized in mind, soul, if she had wanted to, she could probably have read the woman's thoughts easily. But the red-haired woman didn’t want to, so she felt the emotions flowing from her with only her passive empathy and yes, the body language was telltale too.

"If I start telling you about this, we'll be here in a week. I started learning this at just a year old. That’s why I look so cold, you can’t even read anything out of me, not even in my eyes. Your eyes sparkled, you became shining, you had a superior posture when I mentioned their exile. Even the smallest, involuntary gesture tells a lot about someone. You can learn to hide it." she explained.

She thought for a moment, then replied to Isla.

"Don’t judge by the fact that we were allies of TSE, because if you look at Byss it was the last point where we had an offensive role in the Civil War. I had a reason to maintain the alliance for the greater good. I mentioned it to Lord Grayson, he accepted it; otherwise we would not be here. If necessary, I will say it again and I hope it will be acceptable to everyone." referred to what the Eternal Empire had publicly stated.

On that planet, Heinrich Faust Heinrich Faust was not wrong, in her normal state, Eina would not have wanted anyone to risk their life for her, but the situation was far from normal. There was hope under the man's words in her eyes. She wanted so badly to think and believe that the crusader was real. More than anything else; that is why there was great fear in her, what if it was just a lie again. If the parasite is just toying with her again.

"I really want you to be real…" she whispered hoarsely, not for the first time in the cycle of illusions. "I want it so much …"

The words were different now than before. The man had never said that before. Valkyrja interpreted it partly as an apology, partly as Gei was just trying to excuse himself. The embarrassed part of the girl would have been so happy to state that she was ready to die for the man, but the crusader's proximity thankfully improved her condition, so she was so sober not to say these words.

Instead, more tears flowed from her eyes, they were much brighter than before. As these tears reached the ground, there the darkness disappeared and only beautiful faintly glowing bluish and golden flowers remained. It was very hard to talk, she tried, but she didn’t really succeed. Eventually, however, it was the first time that Geiseric had promised to return.

"Do you come back? Do you really come back every day?" she asked, still confused, almost beseeching.

She looked at the man in surprise and confusion after the further words. Although this was not the confusion caused by the parasite now, it was the same as at the ball. She did not understand the behaviour of the living. Eina closed her eyes for a moment as the crusader's hand touched her face. It was warm and promised safety.

"Our love?" she asked in surprise, softly "But... I'm not Ashl-"

Eina couldn't finish because Geiseric's lips touched hers. Her eyes widened in shock, she didn't even know for a few moments what she should do, the entire situation caught her off guard. In her little more than three hundred years of existence, never, anyone has kissed her. A few moments later, however, she let her get lost in the feeling, and she was clumsy, true, but requited the kiss. During the kiss, she was overwhelmed by a feeling hitherto unknown to her, but very pleasant and warm. She didn't want the moment to end.

During the kiss, the cobweb receded, disappearing from Eina's arms, legs, and her whole body. As the girl was weak, she softly fell on the man. Although Geiseric's physique was also lean, so now in this situation Eina with her airy physique seemed infinitely fragile and disappeared into the man's cover. When the kiss was over, she touched her own lips in confusion as she looked into his eyes.

"I… it fills me with very pleasant feelings. But… What has changed since the ball? You are doing exactly the opposite of what you did there…" she began in confusion. "Love… everyone mentions this. But I don't understand what that means. That’s what I feel from you and it’s a feeling very similar to what I feel … I don't know… I don't know what it is… I've never felt before, just near you, with you… It is the most beautiful feeling I ever felt and the most painful. Would that be what you call love?" she asked.

Ivixa didn't have the grace to reply as the Underboss passed her the satchel of explosives, a dangerous payload of magnetic vape charges which under normal circumstances would have immediately brought a smile to her face. Instead, she simply nodded before slinging the satchel over her back and jumping out of the truck. From there, the tiny sniper moved after the brown-haired woman, ascending the wall via her liquid-cable launcher. After turning back to pull Vivian up the last part of the climb, Ivixa followed Mairéad down into the bushes, before speaking up over the team’s secure comm frequency.

“I’m heading to the vehicle and starship port to plant these charges.” She said, her voice inaudible to anyone not in the channel, owing to her helmet’s integrated sonic neutralizer. “Vivian, you can come with me, if you want. The rest of you guys can move inside and get to work, we’ll catch up.” The Asa’nyx continued. “Dispatch their guards as needed, but don’t start killing the slavers until I finish.”

Nodding to Vivian, Ivixa headed towards the vehicle and starship port, keeping to the shadows and cover she could find as she did. While her armor had a cloaking device, Vivian did not have one, meaning that they needed to stay concealed the old-fashion way.

Ivixa didn’t mind that.

Two stuck pigs later, both dispatched in quick, brutal, yet quiet fashion, the two women reached the port. After scanning the area for maintenance personnel, Ivixa and her partner set to work on planting the vape charges, in places where they weren’t obvious, most often on the ventral areas of speeders, shuttles, and skiffs, as close she could get to engine compartments and critical power components.

Once they were finished, Ivixa opened a line with the rest of the team.

“Charges are set. If any of the slavers get the idea to head for their shuttles, let them.”

Heinrich found himself caught off-guard as the formerly unnoticed stranger came sauntering up, lighting his cigar with Heinrich's own lightsaber as he bid for the slave. If it had been any other individual, Heinrich may have considered such a gesture hostile. Despite his urge to treat the man as he had the other bidders, Heinrich stopped himself. Something about this stranger felt somewhat familiar to Heinrich, though he couldn't put his finger on it. Then, not long after the bid was made, Heinrich could hear the telepathic message within his mind...

That's when he noticed the Hades Corp tattoo on the man's shoulder.

Heinrich wasn't couldn't say for sure, but he began to wonder if this was the person he had heard mention of from Ty. Regardless of the stranger's identity, Heinrich couldn't sense any dishonesty within the man's words, and decided to go along with the plan. He looked back to one of the other slavers, eyes narrowing as he pointed the saber at the slaver.

"Take your credits and leave. If you conduct business again, and I hear about it, it will be the last time you do so."

The threat sounded more sinister than intended, but Heinrich wanted to make the situation very clear. Even though they would apprehend this slaver regardless, the Crusade had come to Zygerria to make a point...

Slavery would not be tolerated in the Tingel Arm anymore.

He quickly sent a telepathic message to the girl, making sure to sound as comforting as possible.

Don't worry, you're going to be safe.

Heinrich shot a look back at the stranger as the transaction was about to be made, sending a telepathic reply to the man before moving away from the center of the auction stage.

I'm going out on a limb trusting you here. Don't make me regret it...

I will bear that in mind in future, training from a year old sounds hard. A very different upbringing from my own. At one I think I was just being trained not to bite my wet nurse." She was trying to be friendly now.

She thought for a few moments about the idea of judging Ingrid for her alliance with the Bogan, of course there was a huge part of her that was concerned by this relationship, but difficult decisions sometimes had to be made in the interests of your people. "All politics, wouldn't it be lovely if every decision we made, every agreement we formed was with wonderful people with nothing but light in their hearts, the reality is just not the case is it. Your honesty and willingness to stand by those decisions is commendable, it shows strength."

Isla did have another burning question to ask the Empress, she was hesitant as she did not expect a clear answer, after all, you don't tell even your allies your best tricks.

"May I be so bold as to discuss the Bantha in the room," and she peered over her glasses. "You are on my ship, I dont know how and I wasn't aware of your arrival. A part of me hopes Geiseric brought you aboard and I just need to write him up about protocol. But my real concern is that today it is a worried mother offering an alliance, tomorrow it could be a Zambrano father offering vengeance." She paused then added "I don't expect you to divulge me any of your secrets, but in the spirit of trust it would be useful to know if I have something to be concerned about and whether there are steps I can take."

"I come from a warrior culture, for us this is completely normal." she explained.

However, she did not mention the small thing that her training was much stricter and more cruel than the others. Ingrid was born at the wrong time, in the middle of the Assassin War, and her survival was far from certain. But that was in the past, now there was just no such war, instead Rocksolid and Pride were at war. War between nations; not only between clans. Ironically, not so long ago they were just tiny clans; and now two big countries with big areas, cities, and infrastructure.

Ingrid watched Isla think as she thought, then began to speak. She nodded gratefully; the woman was a pleasant disappointment. The red-haired woman hoped all of this would convince others later and they would be able to sit down with the NIO and GA again at the negotiating table. This will be decided by the future, the Empress hoped.

"I am sincerely grateful for you to think so. Not many people in the galaxy do that." she said with sincere gratitude in her voice.

Now she allowed herself to chuckle a little at the Grand Admiral's concern.

"People always forget that I am the most lethal assassin in the Unknown Regions and possibly I am also among the best in the galaxy.” she started and continued. "Lord Geiseric had nothing to do with me being here. With Bogan’s methods are easy to solve, but in general, smooth energy shields are also good. I used a similar method as Eina, I came from the Netherworld through a rift. You don’t have to be afraid of that, not many can’t get in this way. I had no intention of offending you or Ashlan Crusade, but there was no time for official formalities now. Especially that even Lord Geiseric was unaware of what bond he was sharing with Lady Eina. Please accept my most sincere apologies because I was boarding your ship without permission, Grand Admiral" she said still honestly.

Finally being able to show Eina how he felt without words to stumble over felt like the beginning of a new life. The shadowed clouds that had hung heavy over Geiseric seemed to recede, as did the malignant corruption around where they stood in their embrace. Their lips parted, and they looked at each other in equal surprise. He did not let her go from his embrace, his fear to leave her overwhelming him.

"I… it fills me with very pleasant feelings. But… What has changed since the ball? You are doing exactly the opposite of what you did there…"

"I know if I had done this then, things would be better. But I choose to correct that mistake going forward, my love."

"Love… everyone mentions this. But I don't understand what that means. That’s what I feel from you and it’s a feeling very similar to what I feel … I don't know… I don't know what it is… I've never felt before, just near you, with you… It is the most beautiful feeling I ever felt and the most painful. Would that be what you call love?"

"You are as confused as I, but as you said it feels right, and good. I know why the Jedi fear love, for losing it can destroy a man, but should we not give it a chance? You are unlike any woman I have met in my life, and for you I promise that I will defeat the Bogan."

But it wasn't just for her. It was for so much more. The Jedi were the vanguard, the first line of defense against the Dark Side, and the protectors of the galaxy. How could he keep safe the quadrillions of people in the galaxy if he couldn't keep safe the few he held dearly close. If he could save Eina it would be a testament to the Light, and with her by his side perhaps a shot at defeating the foe bearing down on them from every dark corner of the stars.

The man's embrace promised the same security now as on that planet. But there Hyrva separates them. She was afraid that would happen now. For a different reason, her emotions also reflected what the man was feeling. She did not understand Gei's surprise, Eina was the one who hadn't been a part of this before and didn't know what and how to do or say. In embarrassment, she didn't even hug the crusader back, just gently rested both hands on his chest and looked up at him like that.

"It hurt so much what you said there, the way you behaved. Even months later… still. I still don’t understand why, but I accept your apology and I forgive you." she said.

Eina blushed on the nickname "my love," meaning her face turned darker blue. No one had ever called her that, but she felt Gei called her that because she was important to the man. And this filled the Valkyrja with pleasant feelings again, but it was also embarrassing. Although she didn’t get a straight answer to her question, she understood that yes, love is what she feels. But there was one thing…

"Isn't it one of the duties of the Jedi to face their fear and defeat those? If they run away, it’s like a Sith were doing, like they do every time… then… then Bogan wins, not Ashla." she now asked the man the same thing she had asked Isla before. "You don’t have to promise, you would do it without me, you live for this purpose and for Ashla. I would never want it to be any different, or give up anything for me, never! But I promise I will fight the parasite again." she promised.

Now she embraced the man, too, and looked into his eyes.

"You'll come another time, won't you? Every day after that, right? Promise it, please, promise it!" now her voice was young girlish again as she beseeched the crusader.

She still wanted to say something, but she couldn't speak. Her eyes widened in surprise and fear. There was a fright on the Valkyrja's face as she sensed something from the outside world.

"You are physically near to me, as well, not just in my mind!" she said, startled as she realized the situation. "Why?!" she asked fearfully. "We can be anywhere because of the dyad. Why did you come here? You have to go, in reality time goes by and I don’t want to hurt you!"

She said confused and scared, but the fear did not cause darkness, it was more of a fright than real fear.

"If only reality remains, run! I will do my best to prevent it from hurting you. I… I will find you in one of your dreams, if I have enough strength to do so, I will explain everything. But now, RUN!"

She said as she stepped back and spread her arms, the vision or dream, whatever it was, shattered, Geiseric was in the cave again, not far from the creature.

"-t do you think?" the creature finished the sentence in a mocking voice, everything that happened in Eina's mind was no more than a second or two in reality.

However, the creature did not wait, but attacked the crusader. They wanted to strike with their clawed hand, but the attack stopped a few centimetres from the man's neck.

"RUN!" this was Eina's voice now.

Simultaneously with the shout, a telepathic push came from the man that came from Eina, and if he didn’t defend himself, she pushed him away, gently. At the same time, the vault began to tremble, then collapsed, blocking the parasite's path and giving time to Geiseric to escape. Since the parasite and Eina were strong in the Force, this collapse will not hold them captive for long.

Equipped: paired lightsabers, lots of anger, an unmarked speeder truck, a fairly non-descript satchell

“Charges are set. If any of the slavers get the idea to head for their shuttles, let them.”

As the little Ivixa messaged, Mairéad grinned, she had picked wisely, there was to be no escape no survivors, not amongst the slavers at least. "fantastic news, I am going to go engage, won't be long before the know we are here." she activated her light saber and ran silently towards a droid that had just stopped his patrol and was facing him, in a single move she ran hom through with the red blade and severed his communication system, just in case. How long until his check in, could be minutes, could be seconds. She put her foot on he back and launched herself up to a balcony window and ran along.

She was spotted!

What rotten luck, some guard was put her having a smoke when she arrived, she turned and pulled his shock baton, he was about to yell a warning, but found his breath taken from him as the fluid within his lungs froze solid, he fell clutching his chest as the icy tendrils passed from his lungs into the rest of his chest and in an instant stopped his heart. All that was left was the young Mairéad standing, hand outstretched with a pale blueness forming over her own digits.

She had to pace herself, she couldn't peak to early and she was nearing the moment when all he'll would break loose. The main hall was one floor above from this balcony, she peered through the window and looked at the occupants, they did not notice her. Two twi'lek were in there, nude and writhing on top of a fairly corpulent looking human. The metal around their necks and the braces at the bottom of their Lekku gave Mairéad the impression that this wasn't a romantic situation. She wished she could run in their and cut him in half while they watched, but it was too close to the moment. "I am on the second floor balcony, about to go up to the top floor and breach, I could use some company"

The door creaked as one of the twi'lek opened it, one of her eyes was swollen and bruised, she looked at Mairéad, but the human put her finger to her mouth to silence her. "I promise, we are not here to hurt you you will be free very soon, but please do not tell anyone, if the alert it too soon, othe slaves could be hurt in the crossfire. The twi'lek nodded, a tear running down her cheek as she went to return to the room after spitting something over the edge of the balcony. She looked pretty beat up, it could have been a tooth. Mairéad reached out and handed her a knife "the moment the shooting starts, please use it"

"Come on family, this is getting urgent"
she said into her comm.
