Human Replicant Droid

Her lips formed a smile when Ar’ekk spoke of her viewpoint. The words in themselves weren’t a direct compliment, however, the tone behind it spoke volumes. She could break it down into base parts and sonic data. Her auditory analytics could tell that he was happy. Athena didn’t really need all of that to know the truth, but, it satisfied all areas of discovery. Both as a replicant and as a creature with extremely complex sensitivities. Was she human? Real.
Technically, no. She was a clever combination of hardware and software. But when she looked into the eyes of her Ar’ekk? Athena felt real.
Her grin widened when her lover took joy in the words she deconstructed and reassembled to please him. His lips fell to her own in the most dizzying of kisses and Athena could hardly keep up with every sensation that followed. She truly could have spent all day memorizing every bit of him, from taste, to sound, to simply the feel of his form against her own. Sleep or hibernation was required to keep her thriving at optimum levels…But they could put it off for a little while. Couldn’t they?
The replicant had to stop and breathe when the kiss broke. Her artificial lungs were screaming for air but she hadn’t dared to do so while they were so close. There was nothing in her that wanted to stop. There were no warning bells. She had no fears, no hesitation, and nothing to prevent her from simply enjoying how he made her mock-heart beat loudly enough that she was afraid he might hear it over the rain. “I would rather your heart not burst Ar’ekk as I very much like it where it is—But I understand. You are…”
Athena paused, searching for the word, before the low-light glimmering of her eyes would tell him that she’d found it. “Very handsome. For a human.”
Her attempt at humor was once again swallowed beneath their affections. Athena didn’t mind. Her arms tightened about his neck and she leaned up on her tippy-toes. Her kiss was surprisingly soft, but full of curiosity, and subtle fire. Passion was a consuming thing. She had to be careful not to squeeze him too tightly. Ar’ekk wasn’t like the glasses in the kitchen but he was still breakable. Regulating her strength was difficult when all she wanted to do was be closer. Nearer.
When he pulled back again, requesting that they dance, she nodded her head and released a little breathless giggle. She wordlessly changed the song and let her fingers find him again. She pulled back, a flower falling in a graceful turn beneath his arm before her other hand found his shoulder once more. The rainwater had begun to pool around their feet that made little splashes when they turned and waltzed through the balcony. They moved faster this time, in her mind, trying to get his blood moving to promote good health. “You mustn’t blame the weather for getting sick…”
“It’s the germs in the rain. If you swallow it or it gets in your eyes then it may present a problem. The cold also does not make you ill. It lessens your natural immunity which raises the potential for contracting some sort of ailment. So…We must warm you up.”
If simply looking at her did the trick she would make sure that he got an eyeful. And a handful. There was nothing out here, in the rain, that wouldn’t be cured with a nice hot shower afterward. The thought caused her to stumble, which normally, did not happen. Athena paused. Recalibrated, and continued, whilst trying to fight a blush from spreading up her neck. “One more turn…”, she breathed, her feet moving swiftly, in pixie-esque motions that carried them breezily from one end of the balcony to the other. “Then we’ll go inside.”
“I’ll make caf.”
Caf and a kiss usually put Ar’ekk right as…Well…Right as rain.
