Elayne smiled " Of course Ina, I will have fun, I shall explore the area around the clan more, I hope you don't mind if I might even camp out there.. but I like to get away from things some times.. " She smiled and stopped and hugged her parents. " So what was the galaxy like! " She asked eagerly, she had put it off till now but she wanted to here everything, since she had never been off world. Elayne was always eager for information.

In response, the Witch smiled at her daughter's words. She nodded as well as Elayne made her request to camp in the area around the clan. "That will be fine. Remember to take Nadie or one of her children in that case. Your safety means the world to me." That was all Satara asked. She would deny her daughter to have her adventures of course. But that was the mother's condition first and foremost. Safety of all her children.

What was the galaxy like? Satara chuckled a bit at the question. Of course the girl was curious. "It was interesting as always, of course. However, the galaxy is still so confusing to me. So complicated. Such a vast and open space and yet so small in so many ways." Much of it Satara still did not understand. So many beauties and so much bad in it all. As much as she enjoyed her own adventures, it was here that she believed.

Elayne smiled " But what did you do, and where did you go! " She asked, with a smile as she kept up with them. She sighed " Also.. I was wondering if I could learn how to bound with a rancor like you have with Nadie" Elayne loved her family, and was glad to be with her Ina and father. " I want to hear everything!"

Elayne laughed, a bit as she almost fell. darn footing, She wanted to hear everything about her trip, Elayne loved hearing about the galaxy, and often explored crashed ships. She couldn't wait till she spilled the beans.

"I trained, joined adventures with other Jedi. The Order tends to do the same things in the time of peace. Much as we do, expect they travel to other planets as well," Satara explained. There wasn't anything special in the basis of it all, these things were similar to the two groups. It was the specifics and methods that differed between them. Satara chuckled at the sudden change of subject. "There wasn't a specific bonding ritual between me and Nadie. I earned her trust by my hard work. When I was young, young as you are now, I was sent for my Trials by Ancestors and one of my tasks was to bond with a rancor. Unfortunatelly, he passed away little before Nadie was born. She is his daughter, you know." Like many creatures of the galaxy, even rancors sometimes passed on peacefully. Such was the case with her first rancor but his daughter, was so young and pure when Satara met her. "She and her mother were left on their own back then, they weren't part of our herd. I gained both of their trusts in time and when Nadie was left on her own, we worked on our relationship." She had left out that Nadie's mother had been killed, fighting a bull rancor. While Satara usually had nothing against such large creators, something had happened to that one, he had been different, violent. There was no saving of Nadie's mother but she had at least gotten there in time to save Nadie and bring her into the herd.

"Though as much as she quickly became devoted to your mother, she didn't always trust me. Nadie tends to not like strangers so it was only natural for her to be hostile towars me. Then again, she was hostile to most rancors in the herd at first but that was fear talking more than anything. That's why she's protective of all of you. She worries," Madoc added to the story.

Elayne smiled, " So all I have to do is spend time with one.. until they trust me?" The fact was that Elayne hardly went somewhere without one of the rancor's usually nadie when Ina wasn't with her, as Elayne knew that she needed one around to protect her. " Ina... Its getting dark, we should probably head back " She said sliding her self between them, " So I vote we have a big dinner in honor of your return, and have kytarra over and maybe we can get Ti'cirra over.. " She said loving her family she wanted her sisters and her neice here.

Satara just nodded. Unlike with males, their culture took a different and more patient approach when it came to rancors. They became family. The two separated then as their daughter moved in between them. Madoc and Satara looked at each other for a second and grinned. The two had been together for such a long time that sometimes, they could often figure out what the other one had in mind. And thus, kissed each of their daughter's cheeks and laughed.

"I agree. It's getting dark," Satara agreed. "And it's a wonderful idea. Let's get back home and start cooking." She added as they turned around, making their ways back to the stronghold.
