Description: Noah has always been fascinated with vintage weaponry, from the Great Hyperspace Wars to Pre-Plague era though it was the Clone Wars Era Clone Trooper weaponry that piqued Noah's interest the most. The weapon that interested him the most was the DC-17 hand blaster that a lot of clone captains and commanders dual-wielded in the same manner, at least that Noah noted, that Jango Fett did with his WESTAR blaster pistols. Looking to this and finding it to be a versatile and durable design Noah decided he needed his own custom pair of these. Noah started by 3D printing the shell of the DC-17's using his staple metal, a Titanium-Alusteel alloy that allows for lightweightness and durability. Next Noah installed a custom made heter valve that uses the exact amount of Tabana Gas for one shot allowing for more shots to be stored in the gas canister. The next part was a again custom made gas conversion enabler allowing for the bolt to be more powerful bolts to be fired. The final three parts were improved actuating modules and beam focuser allowing for a better range and a high end prismatic crystal finally topping it off with a bit more damage.

This is mostly in order, but why does the prismatic crystal add more damage to a shot in this instance? The article itself just mentions it's highly valuable.

According to this article the prismatic crystal is what the bolt is focused through before leaving the blaster.
