Description: Once the mainstays of the Crinan Navy, the Noble Class Destroyers no longer fill the role of ship of the line for the people of Crina. Now these once proud and mighty warships act as missile frigates for the Imperial Remnant, though they are produced in fewer numbers than other designs nowadays as their design has seen little work done to it in favor of focusing on newer and more effective vessels are being developed by Crina Royal Industries.
Nonetheless, as many of these ships were already fielded by Crina's Royal Navy it was deemed a waste to let the rest be scrapped or be abandoned, and so minimal work was put into them to bring them to modern standards as viable attack craft to field as the Remnant begins building up its forces from scratch almost. Thus like the also outdated Venerable Carrier, the Noble Destroyers have found their way into active service in the newly conquered Crina's place under Imperial rule.
Though unlike the Venerable Carrier as stated the Noble Destroyer's design saw little improvements despite being more heavily armed than the Venerable Carrier. With a larger array of missile launchers the Noble Class seems to be more powerful, though the point defense cannon systems of the Venerable Class were noted to make them prime counters during the civil war. Factoring in their added expanded Hanger, use of Ion Cannons, greater Speed and Maneuverability, and larger Passenger Capacity for troop deployment, one can see why it the Venerable Carrier was considered superior.
Nonetheless, bearing thicker armor plating, chaff systems to counter enemy missile systems, and the unique array of missile tubes uncommon on Crinan ships, the Noble Class finds its way back on the battlefield with improvements to its shield systems and power output to bring it on par with modern craft.
