Voss
Near Nightmare Lands

Crates were being moved off a small transport shuttle black market weapons, armor, drugs and the like. While Kiran didn't inherently believe in this sort of thing he did what he had to do to get himself by. While on Voss he had learned some, not a entirely whole lot but enough to make things easier for himself. A lightsaber hung from the side of his belt, why it was there he wasn't sure. Kiran didn't even know how to remotely use it properly, while force sensitive he was told and he had a few brushes with the force. It was still new to him, and in truth it seemed...strange. Most likely because he didn't know too much about it. Kiran tapped on the side trigger of his blaster pistol just in slight nerves as he glanced around, moving about keeping a clear head and making sure nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Payment wasn't going to be given until the cargo was checked and delivered safety into the hands of their employer. If he was wanting a fresh start this wasn't the way to go about it, which made the young man chuckle and shake his head. Things seemed to lighten up a bit while he wasn't sure how the Jedi of Voss would have taken to his past so those thoughts of exposure of what he had done had remained with him. He did fear that one day it would reach a point to where those thoughts and emotions would overcome him and destroy him. Though he tried his best not to dwell on that to much.

Words were exchanged a bit here and there as a small sound caught the attention of Kiran as well as others. The chatter died down as they all looked northwest of their location. Kiran reached for his blaster pistol as pulled it from the holster and held it out in front of him, hearing the noise again.

*Clink*

That familiar nose that could be heard at the center of them, it was flashbang of sorts. Kiran was familiar with this with his work with the Corellian Security Agency as well as the local police there. "Chit, COVER!" Kiran shouted as he through himself to the side and covered his head. Shots could be heard out as well as the sounds of feet pounding on the earth. Kiran opened his eyes and could see several tactical individuals among them already. The young man leaped to his feet already aiming his blaster at one of them, then his blaster pistol was grabbed at and the two were in a tussle for his blaster for a few seconds. KIran brought his knee up kicking said individual in the stomach and throwing him to the side, and just as he raised his blaster to take the shot at him, he was tackled to the ground by two others. Thrown to the ground and placed in binder cuffs behind his back, he was line up with the rest of them. Kiran coughed a little bit as dirt and dust littered his clothes and face slightly. Kiran coughed again and shook his head.

"I wonder if we will still get paid for this."

The door to the small interrogation room was old and worn. This was new gleaming new facility with holo-displays on every corner. This security station was likely a few thousand years old and had almost certainly gone without a facelift for at least a century. It clunked as the heavy locks retracted back into quadranium steel, the hinges groaned as it was pushed open. Jacen Voidstalker walked in. A pair of guards followed him but he shot them an incredulous look and waved them away. The door was left open behind him. A wide open door wasn't a familiar sight in this building.

Jacen walked over the the table slowly. Then, quite deliberately, he placed two items down on it. One was an old fashioned binder of flimsiplast sheets. Another quaint reminder of the age of this facility. The second was the lightsaber that had been taken from the man on the other side of the table.

"So I had some friends do some digger and they sent over this information," Jacen said, sliding over the binder. "Putting together a trace that winds across the galaxy. Minor crimes for credits in hand, some much much more serious ones you're associated with. And then there is this..." Jacen trailed off, his eyes lingering on the hilt.

"Why don't you try and explain both to me?"

It was all going to catch up to him eventually. One way or another he figured he would be sitting in a chair like this with his hands cuffed and he would be interrogated. Past and present crimes would come up. The young man shook his head slightly as he sat there in silence just waiting for whomever it was that was coming to talk to him, to come talk to him. Kiran giggled slightly then let out a small sigh as he he looked down towards the ground. Oh, what a situation he had gotten himself into. He wondered what was going to happen to him. In a general sense and not so much just due to this. He closed his eyes for a bit and he figured he'd try and take a nap. As soon as he was getting to that point the door opened that caused him to stir and he blinked his eyes a little bit and let out a small yawn.

Kiran looked up towards the guy who came in and then watch as he placed two items down, a binder, and then the lightsaber that he received on Voss. Kiran laughed but in a softer tone as they were both set down and then man who set them down began to speak. "Not much to explain really except I justified, justice I guess you could say that." Kiran said as he tilted his head to the side staring at the man."I've done some things I'm not proud of, if we are referring to the incident on Corellia, I'm not sorry that happened." And while Kiran said that, he wasn't sure if he believed it. He wondered if he was sorry, and just wanted this whole situation to be over with. And just let things go so that he could ease the burden on his mind.

"The lightsaber well..." Kiran giggled slightly as he shrugged his shoulders. "It was given to me, or maybe I killed a Jedi and took it from him." Kiran chuckled more and then stopped suddenly and cleared his throat, aware that it wasn't time to be joking. "Sorry, On another note it was given to me. It's just a training saber, you could probably take it. I'm not very good with it anyway."

OOC/ posts will be slow til Sunday sorry. That font colour is terrible! :D

Jacen sensed the lie as soon as it escaped the man's lips. He was no Jedi killer at least. The Hound very slowly crossed his arms over his chest.

"Murder is never justified. There may be reasons for it, but no justification or excuse."

The man was a perfect recruit for the Hounds. Determined, trained as a security agent with an aptitude for manipulating the Force. But he had fallen to a much darker path. One Jacen could not easily save him from.

"How do you feel about the Force?"

OOC/No worries, and I know! I shall use a different color! :D

Kiran let out a small sigh, another lecture so to speak. He had heard that so many times before. Yet, maybe it was murder, so he killed murderers. It's not like they didn't fight back, they knew who Kiran was.

"What would you have done then? Let the local authorities handle it, what a great job they did with that." Kiran chuckled lightly as he shook his head and just stared down towards the table.

However the conversation changed on a dime when this guy mentioned the force. Kiran looked up to him with a curious look on his face, how did he know?

"It's different, something I've never felt or experienced before. I feel a tug, something pulling on me from either side. It's a bit intense to be quite honest..." Kiran said as he glanced towards the files, and then towards the lightsaber. The young man stared at the lightsaber for the longest time and then cleared his throat. "I am tired of running though. I'm aware I have to answer for what I've done, I just don't know where to start..."

"What would I have done?" Jacen asked redundancy, as he considered his response. "If I was your age...probabky something rash. That is of course why I was in my thirties before becoming a Jedi Knight.

"How do you see the Force as part of your life? In your mind, what place does it take in the galaxy?"

Jacen tapped his fingers on the table. He'd already held some preliminary discussions with the Corellians. There wasn't much of Corsec left in all honesty. Not after the creature that had initiated the rapture destroyed most of the world.

Kiran chuckled lightly as he nodded his head a bit. "So potentially something along the lines that I did, maybe more or less?" Kiran asked as he looked towards the man. The young man let out a small sigh as he knew that he had to get serious here at the current moment. The situation wasn't looking to good for him right now, he was sure that this wasn't the ideal life that he wanted to live.

"Something.....?" Kiran said slowly as he glanced towards Jacen and then looked away. "I've heard stories of the Jedi and Sith, those that fight for good and those that fight for evil, and those that are in between. I can say that this...." Kiran said as his index finger tapped the files on the table. "This isn't what my life was supposed to be about. I had thoughts of doing good and being good." Kiran cleared his throat and shrugged his shoulders slightly as he looked around for a moment before he looked back to those files.

"Most of the time I just feel sadness, anger more than sadness though." Kiran took another deep breath then looked back towards Jacen. "Can you help me?"

Jacen watched the young man very carefully. The Marshall's mind was open, seeking guidance from the Force.

"No," he said very deliberately. He looked aside, bringing up one hand to scratch the side of his cheek. "But I can give you an opportunity to help yourself. I can give you a choice. I can't set you free, don;t have that option. Not after...this," he said, waving one hand towards the file of flimsi's. The record of mistakes.

"You can choose confinement on Sullust with me, or face your troubles here. You won't be leaving Sullust any time soon, but you'll be free within the Temple. Free to learn, free to find your place.

"Don't think of this as the easy option. The path of the Light is never that and you have a long walk ahead of you."

Kiran listened attentively to the man speak as he followed and agreed with what he was saying. If this was the road he needed to take for redemption and for something that could turn his life around, then this was his path now.

"Done!" Kiran said easily enough, while he wasn't a stranger to hard work or sweat and tears, he had the feeling this would be something that would change his life in many ways then just looking to give him a semblance of direction and hope. He would be given an opportunity, while he knew that he couldn't completely depend on Jacen the whole way. As he said he would give him the opportunity, and he wasn't going to mess it up.

"Sullust sounds like a good deal. When do we start?"
