Non-canon powers and abilities?

Technically, a skilled sith lord could use Dark Transfer on anotgher being other then himself. Such as using dark transfer to channel your oppenants spirit in to an Ewok, effectivly turning the famed Jedi Master in to a NFU Ewok.

Discussions like this make me want to create a FU and just running around using obscure force powers to turn people into pink mists or other such fun things.
I asked this question in wanting more varations of force powers to make my character different from others. Not to abuse the force.

That is the key word here. Could. Not should. But that's another question. Dark Transfer would have to be learned as a Sith/Darksider Master, a real training thread not some offscreen learning or learning from a mediocre person. I would wholeheartedly support using Dark Transfer if it was actually learned through hard work and potential, not just handwaving.

EDIT: About non-canon powers and abilities. You can't limit the Force. Like said, it's endless, it has no limitations. But powers not described in canon are not too liked (why?) and should be stranger/more difficult to learn. I support using powers not mentioned in canon but they would have to be described in every post, saying how they work and what they actually do. They must also have limitations as nobody is a perfect being, meaning nobody can use the Force perfectly.

[member="Maria Natalja"] I know it shouldn't be, i'm just speaking theoretically.

Also, science can be limitless, just look at Star Wars. But we don't know how to use science to do certain things. :p
The force is limitless, but people aren't.

That should actually be the answer to all Force-related questions like... "Is it allowed?" or "Does it exist?" Because technically you could use whatever Force power you want to, doesn't matter if it has a name in canon or not. But it must be learned through hard work. Or it's just not possible as people can't use the limitless Force but only a fraction of it.

You will have to forgive the comical manner in which I like to word my responses. However in the interest of proving that I was making a serious contribution to the topic at hand.

What I was referring to was a tagged Universal Force ability called Shatterpoint. Which essentially is the ability to see through the force quote fractures in either objects or people and allowing you to manipulate them.

This can either be used to reopen old injuries which could arguably be considered a Dark side choice or focus purely on inanimate objects such as armor or a lightsaber which would lean more towards light side applications.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/shatterpoint for reference and more info.

[member="Duvain"], Thank you. Have already used that and started to use different versions.
[member="KenRath"], Yes I have heard of it before. I have had it used on me in the past with a different character.

I often use a gray area for my Kinetite. The wookiee changed sometime after I began using it from a sphere of pure kinetic energy to one with lightning added in though it didn't electrocute or burn. Since IC Domino doesn't like lightning attacks, I kept it as the older version and justify it IC as the 'classic' version of the same power with the color acting as a gauge showing where she is mentally on on the light/dark scale. It helps that the italicized text backs up my version and that it's functionally no different than described by the wookiee making it more flavoring or fluff than a non-cannon power. It being one of her long-time skills and specialization also helps give some leeway. She'll pull up two or three the size of marbles and play with them Magneto style when she's bored.

Just my 2 cents, like people have been saying, keep it balanced and don't go against the wookiee.
