Well a Jedi, as long as he doesn't get caught, could do anything. Anakin was both married and a father while being in the Jedi Order.

Anakin also in the end betrayed the entire Jedi Order killed younglings, destroyed his wives will to live and joined the Darkside. Yes yes I know that he killed Palpatine in the end to once again try and be Jedi, that doesn't make him a Jedi though. He killed millions of people, and innocents. One good deed doesn't make him a Jedi again.. However, I don't mind the character he's creating. I hope it works out well, i'll be interested to see the development.
