Nothing like a late night stroll and drink

Jorga the Hutt

When life gives you Mandos, make Mando'ade
How do you score so Grand a Master?
Make his stolid heart beat faster?
Positions of trust and innocent guise
Padawan braids and Diz'ney eyes

Rosa let a sigh of disappointment escape her as Darron drew away slightly, knowing full well that no matter how much she batted her eyelids at him and begged he would make her get up. Duty would always come first and as much as she disliked it, it was a fact that would chase them around the galaxy and she would have to give in to it.

Pushing herself into an upright position, the covers sliding from her she cupped his chin and made him look at her, her expression serious. "I will never think badly of you Darron, I understand the duty you have. That we have." A soft smile spread across her lips "I would love nothing more than to travel with you. I couldn't think of anywhere I would rather be than at your side." Rising from the bed she placed a kiss on his forehead before snatching up the coffee and sipping it as she scanned the room, uncaring of her naked form.

"Where are my clothes?" she muttered "Ah!" One by one she found her items clothing and threw them on the bed before sinking back down next to Darron again setting the coffee on the tray. "What do you think the order will say about this?" she asked, eyeing her clothes reluctantly.

"The Order...." Darron eyed his pants as his words trailed off. His focus had been momentarily broken by staring at Rosa's form as she pranced around the room with out a stitch of clothing on. His thoughts were lost in all of the repercussions of their actions as he pondered their next move very carefully. "The Order won't exactly be super thrilled lets put it that way Rosa." His tone remained even, and it mostly betrayed how little he cared what the Jedi thought about his private life. He had given everything, sacrificed what most would never even dare to consider in the line of duty. This one small thing of his would be allowed, or he would simply fight for it like he did for everything else. He had been a champion of peace and justice his whole adult life, why not champion this?

"It would be in our best interest not to say anything honestly right now and keep all appearances as they have been. Teferi will not be pleased, the code is sacrosanct to him. I've always interpreted that our compassion can be allowed if it is for love in it's purest form. It's when love turns to greed, or anger and rage come into play do I see love as dangerous." As he spoke he pulled his pants and boots on, all the while noticing her eyes following him. Guess she really was hot for teacher Wraith, spoke his inner voice. A small chuckle left his lips at the thought and he quickly returned to his serious demeanor as he regarded Rosa just drinking coffee in nothing at all.

"I will talk to him when I can, our relationship has gotten back to where it used to be after he elevated me to Master. We just can't let the public or our enemies know, because we could be powerful bargaining chips against each other..." The sentence trailed off at the thought. "You know how powerful I am, and you are getting there. Could you imagine what we would do to save each other?"

As Darron spoke, she finally set down the coffee and began to pull her clothes on, watching his every move. Love could so easily tiern into rage, she had seen it happen, and heard stories of Jedi that fell because of such an emeotion. She made a mental note never to lket that be her. No matter what life threw at them, she would not fall.

When he had finished she had at least managed to slip on her jeans, but she stopped at his last question. What would she do to save Darron? anything an everything. Whatever it took and she knew he would do the same for her.

"I'm not sure I want to imagine it." she replied softly, her face thoughtful for a moment before she smiled again "So, discretion in public. Are you going to be able to handle that Darron? Gotta watch the way you look at me." she teased before kissing him, her body threatening to undo everything he had just done and force him back into bed with her. No Rosa, she told herself, before drawing away again and pulling on the last of her clothes.

"I've played the discreet game before. I'm going to have to work at concealing my emotions when its required of me." Somewhere in the room a communicator began to beep. She looked at Darron with a false pout "You know that's gonna be yours."

"You've got to be kidding me? You have to watch the way you look at me...which one of us wears tight body armor?"

He allowed himself to fill the room with laughter as the beeping from his comm kept growing louder. Force, this better be important I wanted to get some good training in today. He allowed the thought to flow out of his mind as he cleared his thoughts, usually when his calm went off it was for a very, very good reason. Making haste, he quickly threw on his simple tunic and snapped his utility belt on as he made his way across the room. He grabbed the comm in one hand while clipping his lightsaber to his belt with the other. He turned the sound off the warning for the comm and finished getting ready while trying to straighten the bed up slightly before he chanced another look at Rosa as he studied her form as she got dressed. You know, she looks better without all that stuff on, he swiftly stomped the traitorous thought.

Blue eyes fell on the comm and he quickly thumbed through the message before turning his attention to Rosa.

"It seems I am to head an expedition to the moon of Onderon called Dxun, and Master Teferri will be assisting the Mandolorians. That's odd, we never split up on big missions like that. " A sudden bad feeling rolled over the Jedi Master, and for a second he felt a pain of loss that shouldn't be there. Odd, he thought to himself. Blue eyes fell on Rosa as sadness lined his face. "I'm assigning you to come on this mission, but I have a terrible feeling about all of this."

Rosa felt his sadness. Her playful mood evaporated, seriousness settling on her. Why would the order want them to separate like this? It made very little sense. While she understood that the Mandalorian's required assistance it seemed like an unintelligent thing to do, to spread themselves so thinly across the galaxy. Closing the gap between them she slipped her fingers into Darron's and tiptoed to plant a soft kiss on his cheek, before moving away to pick up her own communicator.

"Onderon is supposed to be joining with the republic. This is only going to be a ceremonial visit, what could go wrong?" she stopped, frowning slightly "though why they want us to visit the demon moon I don't know. Is the grandmaster going alone to assist the Madalorians? Seems like a big risk."

He relished her affection for only the briefest of moments as he turned his attention to his gear while listening to Rosa as the pair got dressed.

"No, he will be taking a contingent of Jedi with him. Makes little sense to not bring me and my skill-set with him, I'm kind of useful in sticky situations or so I've heard." After seeing that all of his equipment was in order and that the room had been cleaned to an acceptable level, the Jedi Master sent a reply back to the Order saying he'd be there soon. A few idle moments passed where he just allowed himself to slip into a half meditation/ half reverie as his mind started to try and travel down the many roads being presented. "You know it's a high honor to represent the Order on political missions like what Teferi is letting me do. Yet this doesn't feel right...I know I'm repeating myself beautiful I just can't shake this bad feeling no matter how hard I try."

Nervousness briefly overtook Darron and he allowed himself to pace for a few moments as Rosa herself finished getting ready. Training be damned, I can't focus this doesn't feel right. It was unbecoming of a man his stature and training to be in a state, and after a few more moments of fretting he finally allowed himself to calm. He knew that Rosa's empathy would be able to see through the thin veil he had thrown up over his raging emotions as the Jedi Master worked through his feelings. Better she see it than the rest of the Order I suppose, he thought to himself while coming to a rest by the door. That was the one good thing about finally lettering their feelings be known, he could be himself with one person, and he was ecstatic it was Rosa.

"Listen, I know I'm a wreck. Just know I'm worried for the man who helped make me who I am, if anything you are making it better." He sweetly kissed her before opening the door to head towards the briefing.
