- Planet Name: Noxis
- Demonym: Koignalteth | Noxians
- Region: Tingel Arm
- System Name: Noxi System
- System Features: One Sun “Noxi,” numerous orbital and rogue moons, three planets beyond Noxis that house the Noxian population.
- Location: Hex above Eol Sha Hex.
- Major Imports:
- Noxian Hosts: The planet is restricted from unauthorized trade and visitation due to its high threat level for all but the Koignalteth, Noxians, Helgardi, immensely powerful Force Users, and those with gifted protection. This makes the planet incapable of trading any resources upon its land without circumvention by the leaders of the Sith Empire, Silver Jedi Order, and any other factions of major repute.
- Helgardi Warriors: Noxis acts as the second home for many of the Helgardi who take to the stars with their Liege Lord.
- Major Exports:
- Hosted Koignalteth: Due to the forbidden trade and visitation, the planet cannot export anything without circumvention by the leaders of the Sith Empire. Other hosted are exported granted they meet the requirements to survive on the planet, but these are few and far from the number of Hosted Koignalteth.
- Heavensteel: Serves as the main material in many Koignalteth's arms and armor.
- Unexploited Resources: Phrik, Mythra
- Gravity: Standard
- Climate: Temperate
- Primary Terrain: Mountains, Lakes, Highlands, Deserts
- Atmosphere: Type-1
- Capital City: Tmi Ceith (The City)
- Planetary Features:
- Tmi Olsihshi Seis (The Orange Soil): The planet, perhaps due to meddling from its creator, bears unusually orange-colored soil that strangely offers a higher level of vegetational growth than standard soil.
- Uhhsielsis Bisieith (Unnatural Beauty): A result of Typhon Dlukav's meddling, the planet now hosts some of the lushest vegetation throughout the Galaxy. The highlands and trees glow with a bursting, emerald green whilst the lakes, ponds, creeks, rivers, and oceans are so blue they appear solid.
- Tmi Peilsehsh Sleselis (The Piercing Structures): Located at the direct center of the planet are three spears of an unknown metal jutting out into the sky, allegedly formed during the "Cataclysm." They are said to be very sharp and possess innumerable jagged shards across its entire surface, making it painful to even touch, although many Noxians can be seen climbing them as a trial of endurance. Besides the various portions that glow a red-orange, the most noticeable features about them would most certainly be the humanoid faces carved at their bases, each one representing a different emotion, and the endless flock of avian creatures flying near the middle of the spears.
- Tmi Tzi Eithis (The Two Eyes): Noxis boasts two moons, one barren and another full of idyllic landscapes that orbit the planet like a pair of watchful eyes, gazing down and judging those they cannot see past the fumes. What these moons represent and what is upon their lands is unknown as they never seem to be within reach of travelers, the Koignalteth and Noxians themselves among them, even when chased down by starships.
- Tmi Si Seh (The Set Sun): A fallen meteor that provides the planet’s deposit of Heavensteel used in many of the Koignalteth’s weaponry as they set off from Noxis with their hosts. Located deep under the Fringe, the meteorite still burns with fallen fury and can easily set an unprepared Koignalteth aflame.
- Major Locations:
- Tmi Ceith (The City): The capital city of the planet is an expansive, 31,800 square mile fortress of labyrinthine construction with winding roads, narrow alleyways, numerous deadends, and massive arcane buildings that house artifacts and libraries of ages past. This city serves as the main home for the Nulls, Zuleed, Zakumeed, the Atheed, Noxians, and stationary Helgardi. For all denizens, Tmi Ceith provides them with all the amenities they need to survive for decades on end, although surplus never seems to drain as the years pass. Skyscrapers reach into the sky above with seemingly no limit and house rooms of unknown purpose and blank emptiness. The highlight of this city would most certainly have to be the grand cathedral in the center that reputably opens up like a book to lead down into the abyss where the Heart of Noxis awaits sacrifice, ritual, and birth.
- Tmi Heshmssihvs (The Highlands): Comprising most of the planet's landscape, the Highlands are vast and rolling with numerous hills, rivers, lakes, and snow-capped mountains. Predominately occupied by the nomadic bands of Helgardi who occasionally build rest-depots for rest and relaxation.
- Tmi Diiph (The Deep): The Deep is a lightless cave system that spans the entirety of Noxis, connecting to random dungeon-like structures, underground chasms, and the grand cathedral in Tmi Ceith. While logic would dictate that it has an end, several Koignalteth and Noxians have stated that the tunnels go on forever, or at least seemingly, with a constant feeling of being watched by things hidden in the shadows, both benevolent and malevolent. Small bands of young Helgardi and Noxians can occasionally be seen wandering the caves either out of boredom or as a coming of age trial.
- Tmi Flehshi (The Fringe): Encompassing most of Noxis' available land space to the South West, the Fringe is a land of abandoned cities, gargantuan monstrosities, bands of outlaws who have broken into the planet for greed and solitude, and untapped resources. Only recently have the Koignalteth resumed expeditions to explore the Fringe under the guidance of Kascalion Giedfield.
- Tmi Cmsirfil (The Chamber): The resting place of the Heart of Noxis. Virtually nothing is known about as the Koignalteth would be damned to give out any information that could provide clear answers. All that is known is that the Heart of Noxis is both evil and good, dark and light, and encompasses all of the past and present and future of Noxis.
- Tmi Hexis (The Hives): The community of insectoids known as the Mind Eaters (Mehv Esiils). The hives, numbering roughly six in total, are massive complexes and are capable of housing half-a-million Mehv Esiils each.
- Tmi Dsil Lsihvs (The Dark Lands): A roughly 500 mile by 500 mile “box” of utter silent darkness. No light is visible, nor are there any noises to be heard, or objects to feel. It is used as the main prison for captured Apostatious and those who illegally visit the planet and survive, thus ironically making it a death sentence for the latter. Additional creatures that reside within the Dark Lands are various members of the native species.
- Tmi Vesssishis (The Villages): A series of small interconnected settlements housing a strange race of creatures known only as The Ols. The buildings are structured in a way so as to complement the stocky body structure of the denizens, with ramps and numerous ladders.
- Tmi Ilih Kiiph (The Iron Keep): The main stronghold of the Ols, the Iron Keep is a massive structure that houses the great Warlords of Rampage who consistently wage war against the Mind Eaters.
- Force Nexus: Yes
- Intent: To offer reasoning behind the Koignalteth's abilities and the Noxian's great sensitivity with the Force, as well as to add a new location for both Light Side and Dark Side players to eventually visit for possible new abilities and character development.
- Nexus Name: Noxis
- Nexus Alignment: Neutral. Despite recent leanings toward empowering the Dark Side, the planet is by and large neutral in the sense that it affects and trains both Light and Dark Side sensitives who hold the power to withstand the dangers of the planet.
- Size: Planetary
- Strength: Strong - Empowered by a history of great changes and evolutionary processes, the Nexus has become increasingly powerful in its effects and standing, so much so that the Koignalteth are a predominantly Force Sensitive race and those on the planets and moons near it are relatively affected as well, with their very genetics altered depending on the Force alignment leanings of the planet at the time, such as the Noxians.
- Accessibility: Access to the planet is forbidden by a list of laws drafted and finalized by the Atheed of Noxis and various factions many centuries ago. The only way to gain visitation rights to the planet is to get direct approval from the oldest Atheed still living and the current leaders of the factions in power. While the planet does reside within Sith Space and is, by proxy, under Sith control, the planet is technically available to all factions, with the explicit requirement to have approval, and even then they must hold the natural capabilities of surviving the planet's dangerous ecosystem or possess protection gifted by an allied Koignalteth.
- Effects: Beyond sustaining and empowering the Koignalteth's Force Abilities upon their birth via the Heart of Noxis, the planetary Nexus offers a vast variety of effects upon its lands, people, and those within proximity of its aura of power. Perhaps the first most notable effect the planet possesses is the feeling that it is a living being, ever watchful of those upon its lands. The second most notable effect is that any Force Sensitives who visit this planet and survive the, normally immediate, barrage from the ecosystem's creatures are almost immediately filled with a sense of increased power. For some, they may find that their abilities are in fact enhanced by the planet, with one notable Sith in the past having cast a Force Storm so intense during a showcasing of power that one-quarter of the planet was covered in thunder and lightning for weeks.
- Native Species: Koignalteth, Mind Eaters (Mehv Esiils), Orcs (Ols), Hundreds of Thousands of Unnamed Creatures
- Immigrated Species: Noxian, Helgardi
- Population: Heavy
- Demographics: 15% Koignalteth, 20% Noxian, 10% Helgardi, 55% Other Creatures (Including Ols and Mehv Esiils)
- Primary Languages: Riv’Hsisi, Uhvilsphisi, Noxiani, Helgardi
- Culture:
- General Life: Daily life on Noxis can either be disturbingly peaceful or violently chaotic, depending on the leanings of the Nexus at any given time. Therefore, there is no set average experience for daily life upon the lands of Noxis.
- Religion: Described by the Koignalteth themselves, the religion upon the planet is a highly complex structure of both sacrifice and reward. While the Ols and Mehv Esiils worship the Koignalteth, the powerful natives instead worship Typhon Dlukav, the so-called Heart of Noxis, an enigmatic figure that allegedly both defies and defines logic and holds complete dominion over the planet. To some Koignalteth, the Heart is Noxis and is the reason why the planet's Nexus consistently shifts between Dark and Light depending on the whims of the Heart at any given time. While all of the Koignalteth know of his existence and worship him as their creator, only a few have held an audience with Typhon, and only a few of those few remain in contact with it.
- Government: Theocratic-Kraetocracy
- Affiliation: Koignalteth, TSE, TOA
- Wealth: Low - None of the races upon Noxis have a need for monetary values and reject it in all its forms.
- Stability: Medium - The planet's stability, like most things on its lands, depends highly on the leanings of the Nexus. At some points, it will have more stability than a Jedi enclave, and at others, it will be like a Rancor's feeding pen.
- Freedom & Oppression: The planet's freedom can be seen in a multitude of perspectives and depends highly on whether or not those that judge the planet have actually been able to step foot upon it. For those who have and have lived to tell the tale, the planet seems to be predominately free for those upon it, with the laws of the land being varied between the sentient races that inhabit it.
- Military: While it once possessed no military, having lost all semblance of such cohesion during the Cataclysm, the Order Ascendant currently acts as its main fighting force. Comprised of members of Noxis' natives as well as many species following the leadership of the Koignalteth, the Order Ascendant fights to both ensure greater iron-fisted security across the Galaxy for both itself and their patrons within the Sith Empire.
- Technology: While the planet overall possesses a low wealth rating, their technology is by and large the opposite, at least for the Koignalteth, Noxians, Ols, and Helgardi. While the Ols only hold an early level of spacecraft and weaponry, the others possess standard and advanced technology to traverse the Galaxy. Additionally, the planet houses whatever technology the Koignalteth claim from their allies and factions, such as the Sith Empire, and formerly the Mandalorian Empire, CIS, Silver Jedi Order, and First Order.
Excerpt from Lorale Farmar's personal journal. Validity of words disputed.
I do not know if the words I write are the truth for they are the evangelical words of an Atheed long since deceased.
Long ago, Noxis was a simple planet of wondrous landscapes. Green, esoteric, rustic and full of life in the millions. We were normal people when we first came into existence, much like humans, but of course, we looked nothing like them. We still do not, but that is beside the point. What matters is that things were very different back then. Typhon Dlukav was different. He was not as ravenous and shifting as he is now. He was a friend. A guardian. A parent who taught us and fed us and helped us evolve.
When we took to the stars, of our own accord without the need for hosts, we learned of the beauty of light and of darkness, the truth behind the arcane words of the Heart and we fell in love. Great love. But that love grew too large too fast and festered and rotted as we came upon the wars of the Sith and the Jedi and the Galaxy. Millions of us fell to the violence we tried to stop or partook in. The homes we made fell. Our governments, our organizations, our brothers and sisters all burned in the fires of wanton violence and corrupted bureaucrats and dark sorcery. Our creations, our spawn, became isolated and lost. They suffered a Cataclysm as we did and before long, we were forced back to our planet, damaged beyond repair. For so long did we hide upon Noxis that we became too used to its shores. For so long did we hide that even the Heart began to change, our collective despair changing him, molding him. Soon he became an avatar of hatred and longing just as he was an avatar of love and giving.
We spent nearly five thousand years in exile and only recently have we broken the despair, at least enough to continue on. The Noxians survived the Cataclysm and they returned to us in droves, seeking to aid their Gods, thousands of years later. How they survived, even we do not know, but they did and we reveled in it. For the first time since the Cataclysm, we could leave our home. We can now explore and create once again. We can now retake what we lost.
And no one will stop us.
