STRENGTHS

• Highly automated: Allowing for smaller operational crews, with the majority of functions under the operational capacity and expertise of the on-board AI, this ship has less need for crewmembers on active duty in order to pilot and operate the ship.
• Sleek form: The Trident's sleek form grants it a much higher than average speed due to a much lower resistance coefficient in its class, allowing it to maintain its speed in different places be it atmospheres, space or even on and in water.
• "Aquatic" Travel: The Trident SY-760 can boast a hermetically sealed structure, which can be utilized for travelling not just ON water, but also INSIDE bodies of most liquids with a density of up to four times that of water.

WEAKNESSES

• Highly Automated: Though seen usually as a boon for any ship, should this ship be operating with a bare bones skeleton crew when something happens with the ship's AI, operational capacity may be insufficient to even perform basic tasks, let alone operate the ship in any functional capacity.
• Barely armed: While it has a few weapons systems, these primarily function in a defensive role and though it has comparable weaponry to that of a starfighter, ompared to the more military-minded corvette-sized vessels in its class, the Trident does not have the firepower to take on similar-sized opponent's outright.

DESCRIPTION

The NZ Trident SY-760 has its origin in the Javelin-class corvette's base structural plans and designs, which had been made more compact to fullfill a more multipurpose role. The Trident however,was envisioned as a luxury cruiser, a superyacht built to the exacting specifications of the client Nyva Shei .

She had requested the N&Z to build her a personal cruise vessel with the accompanying amenities for relaxation without having to worry too much about weapon maintanance and other things usually required for military vessels. Because of this, the N&Z utilized the basic design plans of an older ship, adjusted it to fit the request and made sure that the right materials and production standards were enacted and adhered for the sake of the vessel's overall quality.

To this end, the NZ Trident SY-760 boasts a phenomenal degree of luxury, with expensive electrum detailing and corellian leather upholstery practically everywhere, with a seperated, secondary holowall and solid hologram system for leisurely purposes.

On top of all that, the ship does have the best the N&Z could offer in terms of defenses in the form of the SIXTUS/B package, but also aided by a xythian force shield, the usual ARD point defense system and the ship's very panelling and plating itself providing a sturdy and robust vessel when the going gets tough.

Because of these defensive add-ons, the ship can also boast a very useful quirk of being capable of aquatic travel or more precisely to have the ability to traverse within bodies of liquid up to a certain level of density, though it is not advised to try and do this inside extremes such as superheated plasma or molten rock.
