Map's the same size as the Galaxy map. From an administrative standpoint, there was no expectation we nor the community would generate enough locations to fill it. It was created under the preface that we could keep it beyond the Flashpoint, as that's what flashpoints are for: testing out new ideas in limited timeframes, to see how they spin.

So far, despite the lack of location density that the Galaxy Map has, I'm a big fan of how "different" it is while similar at the same time. But, we'll poll the community in August for how we felt about the map.

Lastly, if you want more locations... go sub some to the Codex! Be the change you wanna see.

Q2: I'm assuming this is probably discouraged or not viewed as seriously as a nomination made by a separate writer?

This event looks great, can't wait to start participating.
